"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Lev and Halbert continue hiding near a group of barrels. However, as Halbert adjusts himself into a crouch, his large weapon hits a barrel, making a loud "thunk!"
Amdaeng and Lira hear the painfully loud noise. Nothing seems to stir, nothing changes. The sun sets and the darkness of night begins to take over.
South of their position on Hake Street, Lev and Halbert see a single figure.
The docks have gone eerily quiet—cleared out by the Crimson Legion. No workers, no drunks, no movement… almost.
From the far end of the street, a single figure approaches.
Lev and Halbert spot him immediately—not because he’s loud, but because he isn’t. He moves with quiet purpose, each step controlled. About five-foot-ten, wiry build, dark hair, dark eyes. A cloak hangs over splint-style armor, unusual for these parts. A long, two-handed katana rests across his back.
He walks like a predator—but not a reckless one. He seems disciplined, measured.
He pauses when Halbert knocks the barrel. If he sees them, he does not look. He’s not skulking like the Legion… not swaggering like a thug… and not creeping like someone from the thieves guild. If anything, he carries himself like a professional—someone on a mission, not looking for trouble… but fully prepared for it.
(OOC: I want to welcome our newest "old friend", Bunkaib, whom many of you know. A friend an fantastic role-player)
As Ruel walks the streets the light of day mostly gone. He notices several blockades of Crimson Legion (Werik Longfingers thugs). They have cleared the whole area. Stores are closed, the streets unnaturally quiet. Yet, this is where the wizard, Niccodemus told Ruel to go. To find Lev. Ruel hears a thump and his eyes catch two men, hiding behind some barrels near the edge of the water, just west of the Spice Warehouse where some sort of arms deal is going to go down. (He thinks, this must be Natalie Storms group, staking out the warehouse). Finally, his search for them has allowed him to catch up. But, in Port Blacksand, one could never be too careful. They could be a rival guild, or worse.
