Amdaeng, with years of practice in her training climbing and balancing on ropes is very confident in her own abilities, as long as the bridge does not collapse. Iolinder suggests tying a rope around her and then the group holding on while she tests the bridge.
Like a cat, Amdaeng holds the rope as she gently tests each board moving forward. The gust of wind rocks the bridge but she is ready for it and adjusts her balance accordingly.
After moving forward 25 feet, she sees something on the bridge in the fog ahead. It is large and seems to take up the width of the bridge.
Amdaeng pauses and tries to make out what the shape is....moving forward very slowly to try and make it out...
Various branches go out in a sort of bowl shape from the base of the bridge outward. Then, Amdaeng realizes it’s a huge nest. (15 feet ahead) past it, she can make out land on the other side. (Another 20 feet beyond, bridge is about 80 feet in length.A sudden gust of cross wind hits Amdaeng and the bridge
Amdaeng is surprised by the gust of wind and falls. However, she is able to get back up with the ropes on either side of the bridge. (Can approach the nest for a better look or back off, NOTE: No trees on left like in the pic) Those holding the rope feel Amdaengs weight as there is a sudden pull as she falls. She is able to brace against the ropes on either side and right herself. (The party does not see the nest, only fog ahead of Amdeang).
The group sees Amdaeng lose her footing as a gust of wind shakes the bridge. The ice underfoot and the swinging of the bridge, too much for the sure-footed monk. She gets back up, looking at something in front of her.
Lev/ Vydar
You focus on Amdaeng, helping with the rope as she crosses the difficult bridge.Through the thick cold fog in the air above the bridge, your sharp elven eyes see a sort of stag-like image (Like looking at clouds and seeing a shape). As you try to focus on the image, it is gone. (Can describe to the group if you wish)
As Amdaeng gets closer to the nest, she notes the broken remnants of two huge hatched eggs. Each is almost 4 feet. Something huge. Various large feathers, fur, and parts of things the hatchlings have been fed. What really stands out is the carcasses of several Kobolds. The bodies appear to have been here for only a few days. Each has its chest pulled open, and each is missing its heart. Beyond the nest, some 15 feet away is the other ledge of the crevice. Should would most likely need to climb over the nest to get past.
Vydar travels somewhere in the center of the group, that way if someone falls of the bridge he could potentially use feather fall to keep them alive. His eyes narrow at the stag-like image that momentarily forms within the fog, and almost voices his seeing this. However, when it seems to disappear and Amdaeng is nearly blown off the bridge, he prepares to try and help the situation if he can. He relaxes slightly when she seems to steady herself. Then he continues forward as the group allows.
Lev blinks, frowning at the strange shape in the fog, "Did anyone else just see that..."He trails off, remembering the last time he'd started seeing images, first the ghost and now whatever this is? He's really not fond of the idea that he can see things that others can't, so if this proves to be one of those moments...
He shakes his head, "There was an image in the fog, a stag of some sort." He points to the general area he saw it in, "But it's gone now."His eyes widen as Amgaeng loses her footing, and then lets out a shaky but relieved breath when she manages to regain her footing. The sickness must be getting to her, otherwise she would have been fine... right?
He glances at Vydar as the dark elf makes his way onto the bridge, perhaps it would be a good idea for them all to stay close to the wizard. Most of when they rescued Lira was a blur to him, but he does remember that Vydar was able to cast a spell that allowed at least most of them to descend without harm. Perhaps he can lend that same help in this situation should someone fall... but is it worth the risk of all of them falling? He grips his glaive, clearly thinking about too many things at once.
As Vydar enters the bridge, he immediately slips on the slippery wood plank. He is able to catch the ropes of the bridge on either side and regain his footing. He does fear the same slip in the center of the bridge would be far more dangerous than at the anchored ends. He begins to carefully proceed forward.
Amdaeng feels Vydar behind her. She is able to climb the huge nest and arrives at the other side. as Vydar moves down the bridge, he sees a huge nest ahead spanning the width of the bridge.
When Vydar reaches the nest Zarbyn will begin crossing the bridge:

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Like Vydar, Zarbyn also slips but grabs both ropes on either side to stabilize.
(Give me a second roll for Vydar (Dex or athletics) as he gets to the nest.) Random gusts of wind hit the bridge from time to time, making it move. Footing on the bridge is ok, and the planks seem to hold, but the unknown height and swinging make it a difficult crossing.)
Amdaeng secures the rope on the other side of the bridge. As Vydar approaches the nest, he has a sort of sick feeling in the pit of his stomach.
Vydar:
He can identify small bodies of humanoids within. There are also other small animals, such as foxes and rabbits. However, he also sees the bones of elves.
Vydar grimaces when seeing the scattered corpses within the giant nest. He had been trying to tread carefully, he can still feel his heart pounding from his previous slip...
Morric will have the end of the rope tied around his waste and rolls a 19 strength to hold it fast so Vydar does not fall to his doom. He will say, “ It’s a good thing i had a few extra cookies…”

Amdaeng is disappointed with herself but moves up to find a way past or over..

(OOC: Vydar. Make a dex roll or acrobatics as you enter the rickety bridge.)
Acrobatics is a glorious 6 :'D

Amdaeng begins to carefully climb over the nest.....
Acrobatics: 7
Lira will follow suit once Zarbyn reaches the edge of her vision.
Acrobatics: 15
If she reaches the nest without incident, she will study it curiously, trying to identify what kind of creature made it.
Nature: nat 20 + 7
Like Vydar, Zarbyn also slips but grabs both ropes on either side to stabilize.

Dex was a critical fail
Vydar looses his footing again on the slippery icy surface, just as a gust of wind racks the brodge
(strength check for Amdaeng or Morric, whoever rolls first to keep Vydar from falling. Zarbyn or Lira can help with a roll.)
Morric will have the end of the rope tied around his waste and rolls a 19 strength to hold it fast so Vydar does not fall to his doom. He will say, “ It’s a good thing i had a few extra cookies…”
