Having his senses return to his body, Zarbyn will move into the room trying to stay close to Amdaeng just in case something even weirder happens.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Lev forces himself to breathe again, body tense as his eyes follow the spectral child. As unnerving as this is, he seems relatively unshaken.
Noting the head the ghost is carrying, his first thought is sadness. No child should be exposed to such violence. His second thought is one of disgust. What twisted fate led to this? No child should have the nerve to carry a severed head. And yet,
”If that head belongs to the sultan, I say he got what he deserved.”
His eyes narrow when the girl then places the head on the skeleton and bids it to rise. He tenses, clenching his fists around the shaft of his new glaive. However he doesn’t strike, looking to Vydar in hopes that the dark elf can find a way to talk the ghost down.
Lira lets out a tense breath as she stares down into the dark water for a long moment. The mother has to be down there, and probably the girl's body as well...Sighing, she sets her backpack down to lighten her load and ties her new length of rope (50 ft) to the well to replace the old one.
"I'm uh...going in! Maybe disarm the bodies before she puts the heads on?! I'll be back!" She can hardly believe she is doing this, but at least the cold won't hurt her as much as it would the others. She moves to climb down the rope.
Counting? Lev moves to where Lira is standing next to the well, he has to keep himself from trying to stop her from jumping in. He doesn’t like the party being so spread out, and he also doesn’t like the fact that this seems… off. Perhaps this ghost is trapped in a cycle, it seems like she is completely unaware of them. Yet if that is the case then does she really pose a threat?
He doesn’t want to find out. “If something goes wrong down there, tug on the rope and I’ll pull you out,” he says as Lira descends. There’s no telling what could be beneath the water, but he doesn’t want to take any risks.
”Someone disarm the skeletons,” he repeats Lira’s suggestion, turning to the rest of the group. He doesn’t want to leave the well since Lira is the only one out of sight currently.
If they can be disarmed Zarbyn will go around to each one and take away their weapons. "I've got it!"
If not he will ask, "How do you disarm a ghostly skeleton?"

As Zarbyn reaches forward, the skeleton stands perfectly still and inanimate. However, his hand passes right through it and the weapon.
The ghost heads back north to the pool covered in ice. She reaches in and pulls out another head of a man. This one has a goatee with beads, a blue turban, and a scar over one cheek. Its skin a translucent grey, you see the skull underneath. A third transparent skeleton body lies on the ground at pillar 3. She approaches with the head.
"Gurw", the girl says as she continues to hum and move, unseeing. The skeleton rises and stands at attention like the others.

Meanwhile, Lira has decided to tie her rope to an iron bar going across the well instead of using the rotted rope. She checks her knot and can begin climbing down. Lev stays nearby to help with the climb back up.
(The water is 30 feet below, she can move 15 feet/ round, DC 10 (Athletics, or Strength) or fall to the dark water below (not frozen). IF she wipes the sticky spider web stack on her hands, I'll allow advantage but might want to save it for the climb back up. Climbing up will be harder DC unless the rope has knots or others pull you up.)
Iólinder is somewhat transfixed by the morbid sight of the girl ghost and her actions. Then he gets out of his stupor and realizes that the ghost is performing a series of repetitive actions in a specific order. He also sees Lira about to jump into the well with the assistance of Lev and Vydar, and Zarbyn try to grab a scimitar from a skeleton and his hand go through the warrior.
Then he looks down and realizes there is what appears to be a scarlet liquid running from the first three pillars and out the door. His shoes are dry and he does not feel the liquid. The floor is dry.

The water freezes on one side, enough to give her a perch. The water is dark and she decides to stick her head in just below the surface. About 15 feet below is the bottom of the well. It is difficult to make out but there is definitely something at the bottom, could be rocks or bones. The water in the well has a stale smell but is likely potable.
Zarbyn considers what is occurring. He also sees the ghostly "river of red" begin to flow out toward the hallway. A crimson-red flowing vision on the tiled floor. With each new ghostly guard, the ground takes on a sickly reddish color as it moves closer to the front of the great hall.
Zarbyn
For now, the ghostly skeletons are unmoving. He reflects on Amdaengs comment: "I don't think we're going to like what happens when she stops counting" He reflects on his warlock training. Calamity could strike if a ritual such as this is broken at the wrong time. There would be a particular time and perhaps actions needed to disturb the ritual so that it does not reset.
Lira takes a few long breaths as she ties the end of her rope around herself before reluctantly dropping into the water from her ice platform. She feels around the bottom, trying to stay calm and methodical so she doesn't miss anything. One trip down here is more than enough.
Lira drops into the fridged water. Her body seems to handle it better than expected
She swims down to the bottom and starts poking around. Indeed, she finds what she expected. Two bony heads peak out of the silty bottom. One an adult, one a small child. When she reaches to take the child-sized skull, she is shocked as connected to the head is the body of the child, hidden under the cloudy water. Surprised and disgusted, a scream escapes her lips and she inhales a bit of water. In a panic, she drops what she is holding, and quickly swims back to the surface of the dark well, her icy ledge still intact, gasping for breath.

Not sure if this is her best idea, holding tightly to her rope and using the well wall for leverage, Lira descends 15 feet by repelling.

Amdaeng is torn between moving to assist Vydar and Lira and morbid fascination as the dead girl goes about her ghastly task.......
" I don't think we're going to like what happens when she stops counting so lets hope Lira has the right of it...."
She sat down on the stone and centred herself, ready to protect her companions when it became necessary.
Lira successfully descends to the waters surface, the rope continues but it is dark cloudy water and she can only see a few feet.
