Morric was dreaming of cookies, so good. His dwarven friend Ivan made them the best. He had secret ingredient that he refused to divulge to anyone. The. He heard his mother saying, “ Morric, you have work to do..dont be a shirker..”
He opened his eyes as the dryads light faded nasty gashes on his chest and neck closed up a bit and he got himself to his feet. He felt as if he was out for hours, but the rat-beast wasnt far away, its entrails following behind it as it moved against the beautiful trees on the Island.
Vydars magic continues to harm the caster (he's at 17/45hp). He looks to be struggling to keep his spell up but manages. Off to the east, Vydar hears the battle of warriors against other fowl rat-ogre creatures. His mission is clear. Take out this caster.
Morric's Javelin pierces his fleeing foe. Slowed by the water, the Javelin penetrates its back, piercing its small heart. It falls into the water, its life leaving its maddened eyes.

Zarbyn and Lira finish off the two remaining goblins. The field of snow is covered in blood. Za'chak looks at the group, "We must get to Tseren quickly and decide what to do about triggering the avalanche to block the valley below. Come, he should be right up ahead."
It is a dark night, but the moon is out for some light.
Iólinder had to make a decision. He knew from experience that enemy spellcasters can pose the biggest danger on the battlefield, thus he agreed with Vydar's actions to take it down quickly. Amdaeng held the island at the moment and the strange person known as Morric got back on his feet after Iólinder could swear he saw the big guy fall down earlier. He sent his spirit blade towards the little island, cursing the slow hovering of it, and turned his attention to where Vydar headed. The wizard had conjured some sort of lightning arc between him and the goblin caster, making it easy for Iólinder to pick out the target. He joined Vydar in his magical assault with some divine magic of his own.
Bonus action: move spiritual weapon 20 feet towards the island as per the scale on Owlbear
Action: casting Guiding Bolt targeting the goblin spellcaster. Range is 120 feet so that is not a problem. Attack roll: 23 Damage roll: 14 radiant damage

The worg tracks came from the direction you are headed. After a few minutes, you begin to crest the peak that looks out on the open valley below. To the north, you see many camp fires of the mixed goblin army below. To the east at the bottom of the ridge is the valley of the Toa-Suo and some of their large Yurts can be seen with fires as well.
Then, rounding an outcroping of rocks, Lira spots two bodies lying on the ground ahead.
Lira gasps quietly and hurries forward to inspect the bodies, looking to see if they are friend or foe. If friend she will attempt to provide aid with her Healer's kit.

As the group looks around, you see what Tseren and Trabik were working on. They have planted a number of long poles into the deep snow at the top of the ridge. Each is attached to the next with rope. It appears with a bit more work, it could be engineered to trigger an avalanche of snow and rock. Za'chack looks at the group as he takes the necklaces off his friends necks.
"I believe we have three options. One, trigger the avalanche to completely block the valley corridor going to the north, effectively blocking the army from entering this way. Second, wait for the goblin army to enter the entrance to our valley and trigger it, with the hopes of causing them tremendous casualties and blocking the valley. Or third, wait for the elders to tell us what we must do."
Amdaeng moves with incredible speed, dispatching the remainder of the rat swarm in a flurry of movements with little rats flying in multiple directions.
Baatar moves to engage the huge standing rat-like behemoth, attacking it with his spear. His spear does not penetrate its thick skin on the first attack, but his second seems to be effective, 9 damage. (Creature has disadvantage on its next attack roll: SAP).
Iólinder's magical bolt hits its mark. Although the goblin looks on the edge of death, the fanatical caster continues his spell (He made his con save). (Advantage on next attack against him). (He is almost dead).
The rat creature ignores Baatar and attacks the central tree again! Its weapons penetrate the bark and damage the wood beneath. A sort of sap drips out from the wounded tree, reminiscent of blood. 16 damage. However, some of the damage seems to disappear. To Amdaeng's surprise, gashes and open wounds appear on Baatar, as the warrior sustains some of the creatures vicious attack. (Warding bond).
The goblin caster, blood spurting from his mouth, utters words of dark magic as he raises his staff and hurls a bolt of black magic at Vydar: (23 to hit, 15 necrotic damage).
To Iólinder's right, the sounds of battle continue and Vydar can see several more huge creatures being pursued by the mighty Toa-Suo. The creatures are headed toward the glade as well but are still a good 30 seconds away.
Rat ogre battle: --->All PCS can act: Amdaeng, Vydar, Iólinder, Morric: We have one attacking the tree It is injured and the last spear attack seems to have weakened it. Morric killed one with his javelin in the water. Iólinder and Vydar are attacking a caster to the north. To your east, a group of Toa-Suo try to stop several more huge rat-ogres as they advance on the groove.

Zarbyn hits the goblin hard in the chest. He looks like he will not be on alive much longer (1hp).
Za'chak swings his huge club at his opponent, but the nimble creature is able to dodge the attack. In return, it attacks the big man, (1 damage).
The other goblin attempts to hit Lev, but his armor blocks the blow.
Lira, Zarbyn, Lev. (1 goblin has 1 hp, the other, is doing ok.)
Lira reappears to attack goblin 4.

It is clear they are both dead, having been attacked by the group of worgs and riders at the top of the ridge.
