Lira looks over Tseren and Trabik's handiwork carefully, as well as the surrounding area and approaching army. "I lean towards option 2. Better to hurt them too than just slow them down. What do you think, Lev, Zarbyn? Whatever the case, we'll want this a avalanche to be as big as possible."
Zarbyn hangs his head for a moment when they come upon the Toa-Suo bodies.
"I would like to bring the whole mountain down on the goblins if we can!"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Morric will move against the rat-goblin-ogrestein with the goblin eater.
Attack:19 dmg 16
After seeing Amdaeng strike at the monster’s back, Morric will swing at its legs, hoping to removed one or both of them, like cutting hay. He figures if it cant move about as well it might have a more difficult time hurting the tree or any of us. The eye on goblin eater has a look of disgust on having to taste these abominations.
Amdaeng and Morric dispatch the crazed creature before it can do more damage.
To his great satisfaction, Vydar’s magic finishes off the caster. As he falls to the ground, the terrible smell of burned flesh rises in the air. The remaining creatures stop fighting, then….disintegrating where they stand. In place of them are three bones. (Further investigation required)
Lev's face hardens when they come upon the bodies of Tseren and Tarbik. He was no stranger to such sights, but something about this hit home more than he could have anticipated. Averting his eyes as their companion removes the necklaces of the fallen, Lev inadvertently touches his own amulet--a million thoughts running through his head. Questions he kept meaning to ask but things keep getting in the way.
Turning his attention back to Lyra and Zarbyn, he nods, "I agree."A delay with the potential to harm the enemy is always the better option. He has no sympathy for these creatures, and he knows the goblins will show no mercy even if they opted for the less harmful option, so in his mind they might as well do all the damage they can to lessen the numbers that make it past the impromptu obstacle.
As you stare out at the valley below, you can see what Tseren had devised as a plan. A large shelf of snow, ice, and rubble could be triggered to slide down the narrow opening in the valley, blocking the entrance entirely. The sheer weight of the avalanche could cause significant harm.
Looking down into the valley, you see camp fires and light from the Yurts. The valley seems quiet, peaceful, but yo know the warriors there are in a state of readiness.
You look out at the campfires in the open terrain north of the valley where the Toa-Suo people have made their home.
It seems the bulk of the army is camped for the night. You expect them to take action in the morning. It will just be a waiting game with them at this point, as you complete preparations this night to optimize the greatest amount of damage. (Please describe what you would like to do to trigger a massive avalanche.)

Amdaeng looks around worried, " Whose hurt? Any more goblins?"
Baatar looks at Amdaeng. He is chewed up, with tiny claw marks and bites from the swarms but seems ok.
”Well done. Let’s keep on eye out for any further invaders.” He looks to the north in the dark. “What of the caster I heard mentioned. Where is Vydar and Iolinder?”
Lira gazes out over the valley and avalanche setup thoughtfully before looking to Zarbyn, Lev, and Za'chak. "Looks like they won't be making their move until the morning. Can we contact the others to come help too? We only get one chance to do this right."
Za'chak looks at the group, "If you wish, I can get back to camp very quickly and inform the elders. Perhaps the rest can return with me before sunrise."
As Morric looks at the bones, he concludes one is clearly from a goblin, one tiny bone is likely that of a rodent of some sort, and finally, a larger finger bone of a very large humanoid, likely an ogre. These were somehow used to conjure these awful creatures.
Morris will say, “ that's pretty foul magic there, yuck” and will grind the bones under his foot. “ if anyone can spare some healing, i could use a bit. Wouldn’t want this bite to get infected “ he would say showing the nasty, partially closed up bite on his neck…. “ hope i dont turn into a were-rat-goblin-ogre creature on the next full moon…”
Za'Chak waves goodby to the group, "I will get the back here as quickly as possible. We will be back before sunrise but if you need to act before then, it will not endanger us."
He turns and begins jogging back the way they came up.
Iólinder moved up to investigate the spellcaster. From how the creatures just fell apart in a pile of bones he could clearly recognise the foul practice of necromancy. It would be best to determine how the caster managed to animate the creatures so they could be better prepared against them in the future. Though one part of Iólinder, a part that he did not like and liked even less admitting, could see the value in the forbidden art. Soldiers that did not feel pain or would not slow down, that could replace the living as cannon fodder: there was a certain allure to it.
Which skill should I roll? Investigation or Arcana?
Amdaeng sprinted to back up Baatar and leapt launching a fist at the base of the rat-things spine.
