The bone spike sails through the air and is rebuffed by both the shield, and the shimmering magical field that Eirikur had erected earlier. He smiles as the magical field saps the bone spur of its momentum, making a timid thud against the shield before dropping harmlessly to the ground. At least that was useful once, he though to himself, then rushes in to the beast. He lashes out at the creature with his blade, striking at it twice. His sword glows white hot as he swings his blade, channeling his righteous rage through the weapon.
OOC:
Attack 1: 13, Damage: 8 Slashing, 9 Radiant + 2 Radiant if it is undead.
Attack 2: 18, Damage: 11 Slashing, 4 Radiant + 1 Radiant if it is undead.
I'll burn the spell slots if any of them managed to hit.
"This is why I only take on bounties that deal with people. These monsters aren't worth dying to take down!" Hyliztha screams to herself as she scrambles to move after seeing the bone spike bounce off of Eirikur's shield, not wanting to risk getting skewered by one. Firing off the last round in her cylinder, she will quickly reload, readying to fire once an opportunity presents itself.
Eirikur works his blazing blade, ignoring the obvious danger to himself now that he is face to face with the terrible worm. He sucks in a chest full of air and, releasing it all at his friend within, he bellows, "Fight on, friends! Don't give in!"
OOC: Channel Divinity: Turn the Tide - Anyone I chose who is lower than half their hitpoints and can hear me will recover 9HP. I choose Gaelen and Modoc.
The gurgling noise comes again, and Gaelen is vomited out of the beast along with the several animal carcasses. The worm is bleeding green ichor from many cuts and bullet holes.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
A hail of bony shards batter Eirikur, working through the magical barrier he had erected as if it were not even there and chewing up his flesh. The necromantic life he had given himself seals the worst of the wounds, but he feels the power fade and then fail during the explosion of bones. He glares at the creature from behind his shield, blood pouring down across his face, casting his vision in a shade of red. The wounds that remain are superficial, but still bleeding.
The worm opens its toothy maw to suck in air again, but Eirikur is very familiar by this point. He lacks the nimbleness to get under the pull like Gaelan and while he takes strongly from his human side with his girth, he is not nearly as mountainous as Modoc is to simply stand against the wind. Instead, he jams his sword into the ground and squats low, using his sword as an anchor and praying the weapon he liberated from a bandit was not so poorly cared for as to become brittle against the gale.
The sword does its job and Eirikur is able to resist. As he stands to mock the worm, he notices that Modoc is nowhere to be seen. It his place though, he sees Gaelan's body. Alive? Dead?
OOC: Since Wysp brought it up, I'll wait for DM decision on the Turn the Tide before committing to actions.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hylizatha curses as another of them disappear into the beast, starting to wonder if she should consider such a thing above her pay for the task of escorting Dr. Bailey. So far it seemed her Bullets had done little more then annoy at best and nearly nothing at worst. Deciding that if things did not change soon she fires off two more shots but then starts to move away towards the train.
Eirikur sees Gaelan stir and smiles. Modoc is too sturdy to die inside that thing... at least for a few moments longer. Now is their chance. Raising the blade once more, Eirikur slashes at the bone worm. The sword's glow intensifies, charged by Eirikur's fury.

Modoc gives a smile to Gaelan, calls "Glad you could join us. Hang in there, I think we've almost got it." and continues his assault on the worm.
Attack 1: Attack: 26 Damage: 12
Attack 2: Attack: 21 Damage: 9
Welp. Modoc goes to replace Gaelan inside. Do I need to reroll either of those attacks at disadvantage? I don't think either will hit.
