More magical subjects are on floor 2, with normal everyday things and novels on floor 1. Floor 3 is forbidden." He lowers his tone a bit. I think I’ll head to the fighting arena see what I can learn there, if you need me that’s where I’ll be.” Linos has a phobia of the written word, superstition that it contains some of the soul of the author and avoids writing when possible.
Beans heads off to the Blood Circle to get himself into trouble…
You find a suspicious number of cloaked people in the seats lately, many of them fighting in the arena and pushing everyone out. They are making way for something. 2 figures are fighting inside, and a massive crowd is gathering to watch the violence. The intentions of this fight seems more like an attempted murder then training. The first one, obviously the Glass Dao, says "You know who I am, mortal. I am closer to deity than man and that'll be written on your tombstone." The other is wearing a blue cloak coated in white and blue gems and intricate silver design. "You still think I'm mortal? I'm an immortal undead entity. I'm a vampire but without all the rules." Their swords clash, and red lightning begins crackling between them. "I've killed you before AND I CAN KILL YOU AGAIN!"

"Ah, right. There's he Glass Dao cult and the Scarlet Cross cult. It's a member of the Scarlet Cross thieves guild, they're all coming out of hiding suddenly."

Morgot apologizes to the man who asked about the incursion, "Let me sort this out really quick!" And runs over to the duel. He sheaths his sword, stows his shield and draws his halberd. "Stop dueling, NOW!" If the duel does bot stop, he will swing his halberd at the glass Dao. 6 to hit, 10. On a hit, he will use cleave to attack the other man 10 to hit, 9 damage.
They stop fighting and look at you. "That man has beaten you before, Dao. You have not made a full recovery. I am not the Ichulla you once knew. Drinking your life-force has made me the most brutal vampire in the inner planes." "My new body is prepared, Ichulla. The moment I die, I return." "And then I can kill you for good." The man in the blue cloak tackles the Glass Dao to the ground and bites his neck. Cracks begin to spread along the Glass Dao as white light flows into the cloaked man's body. The Glass Dao gives an evil smile and his eyes close, and the vampire begins shivering as he drains the Glass Dao away. Cultists from both Scarlet Cross and the Dao begin gathering to watch.

He stows the Halberd, draws his longsword and shield, and prepares to battle whichever being wins. As the cultists gather, he casts mind sliver on the vampire. DC 13 INT save or take 6 psychic damage and subtract 1d4 from the next saving throw.
"Well with the chaos of the realm, it is no wonder a thieves guild is out and roaming freely, but I wonder if there is something more to them with all the chaos....Shall we ask the fellow over there"
