As he sees the Arrow arrive Abathax immediately graps his Rapier from his back and moves towards where the arrow come from. Looking for anyone running away etc. Assuming the others can take care of Klapton.

Abishai watches as Klapton's ball lands in the hole. He turns to congratulate the gnome, only to see him fall asleep and then get hit in the back with an arrow. Stepping over to Klapton, Abishai checks for a pulse (Medicine: 16). If one is detected, Abishai attempts to stabilize him. If one isn't detected, Abishai calls out to Qualksander for help. He then runs after Abathax as he charges into the treeline (Perception: 10).
Just waking up, Silvosh is a bit confused, but an arrow in the back isn't good in any situation! Silvosh comes up to remove the arrow and cast Cure Wounds.
Abathax moves forward, but finds no culprit in the treeline. Abishai rushes over to Klapton to assess his condition, and finds him in a very sorry state. The sedative effect of the golf ball means that it's difficult to differentiate his comatose state from death, but he thinks he can feel a slight pulse ebbing away at his wrist, though the majority of his blood seems to be flowing out of his back onto Abishai's lap. He presses down around the arrow wound, careful not to take it out or move it any further, and applies enough pressure onto the gnome to slow the bleeding in time for Silvosh to come and properly heal him. She puts one hand to Klapton and the other on the arrow, then uses her healing magic on him as she removes it to close up the wound. Although still unconscious, he's alive, thankfully. Looking at the bloody arrow in her hand, Silvosh sees that its head is particularly sharp, and made of a dark metal that seems different to what is used on ordinary arrows.
Wendell contacts Mr Lumens, and he comes over as fast as he can. His face grave, he says 'This is clearly the work of the traitor. It was foolish of me to put Klapton with you; clearly that just proved to them that he was with you for protection, and that therefore he was aware of the plot like you are. We must take him to the medical wing immediately, and I think it best we limit any further contact you have with him, for his safety.'He quickly starts rounding up staff to carry him away to the wagons, and mutters 'I think it best to now bring these games to a halt, take everyone back and put the home on a soft lockdown to prevent further mishap. Our traitor is definitely aware that we are trying to root them out, so your investigation must be brought to the next level.'
As Abishai catches up to Abathax in the treeline, he asks, "Did you see who fired the shot? What about a trail to follow?" Abishai begins to look around for clues as to where this person may have gone. (Survival 7)
If he spots a trail he will follow it and suggests Abathax follow, otherwise he stays with Abathax as the Teifling investigates the area.
Silvosh scans the area looking to see if she can spot anyone missing, though she expects the traitor has already rejoined his game. Then she had a thought, "Perhaps the traitor was eliminated early by their ball self destructing, leaving them free to move and attack? No, we were in the first round, so they must have moved away between games."
"No I only noticed the arrow, unfortunately not who shot it" Abathax tells Abishai

"Do you recognish the arrowhead Mr. Lumens?" Abathax asks. "Also, me and Abishai didn't find any footprints at all near where the arrow came from. That could mean the attacked was hovering above ground, instead of walking on it. Although, there are probably multiple other reasons we can think of."

Silvosh can't see anyone carrying a bow, arrows, or a distinctive quiver, though she soon realises that the several golf bags holding the clubs around the course could easily hold a bow and some arrows in them if needed. Qualksander analyses the arrow Silvosh holds up, and says 'Hmm...I don't particularly recognise it, though I can see what you mean about it being unique. I shall analyse it further later on, and see if I can identify where it has came from, since weapons are prohibited on site, to the dismay of several of our veteran warriors...' He then turns to Abathax and says 'Hovering...perhaps we are dealing with a resident that can cast spells. If that is the case, I should inform the medical team to check Klapton for any spells on him, just in case...'
Silvosh asks, "I didn't realize they weren't allowed weapons. Is it a problem that we are armed? Are the weapons of the adventurers kept on the premises?"
Our traitor is definitely aware that we are trying to root them out, so your investigation must be brought to the next level.'
(I swear I posted this earlier...) "I disagree Mr Lumens. If he was not with us, than he would not be alive right now. Therefore limiting contact with us does not bring him safety, it just isolates him further so next time they can pick him off. I think the better course of action would actually be having at least one of us with him at all times, including in the medical wing. We have no idea how far this plot goes."
Abishai walks back to the group after Abathax and he failed to find the culprit. "Mr. Lumens, we can't dismiss the possibility that this plot involves outside actors. If weapons are forbidden, except for ours of course, then it's logical to believe someone is helping a resident smuggle weapons in, or that someone from outside the resident list is our shooter."
Abishai looks around the field at the residents being herded back into wagons to head home. "I suggest we search everyone and everything. We need to isolate this scene and find more evidence. Just because we didn't find a trail doesn't mean one doesn't exist." He looks back to the group with a pained, almost sorrowful expression.
Qualksander tilts his head in half agreement at Silvosh's question, saying 'You having weapons is fine, but for ordinary residents, there's a room where the resident's weapons are kept, and only I have the key, so they need to ask me to access them. They're then checked by staff to assure they haven't taken anything out with them, which nobody has done, although I do keep a log of who goes into the room and the staff members that monitor those visits, so we could prioritise those residents as suspects and ask the staff about any incidents; they may have been bribed to cover something up. I shall also review the stock of what's kept in that room to see if the arrow did come from there, or an outside source.'
Mr Lumens then nods to Wendell and says 'If you wish to guard him to guarantee his safety, you are welcome to do so. I trust in the security of the medical wing, but I can see why you would want to keep an eye on him.'To Abishai, he says 'An outside source could be possible; we do know for certain this traitor has accomplices on the outside. I agree with you on a search of the residents and this area; I'll look to getting that organised soon.'
"Especially seeing as you say there is a chance of the staff being bribed with weapons, I would feel much safer keeping an eye on Klapton."
While talking, Wendell has sent his raven over to the area the shot was fired to see if there is any sign of someone in the trees or flying, which would explain the lack of footprints.
[Sorry for the delay, been fairly busy recently and didn't know if anyone had anything additional to add]
Wendell scouts with his raven, but as your conversation had been going, it seems all the golfers have been rounded up and are now making their way back to the carriage, allowing the traitor to slip away into their midst. They may have evaded you this time, but it seems you have a plan to catch them soon. Qualksander says 'Best we head back in now too; I'll get back to you once the analysis on Klapton and this arrow comes back. In the meantime, see if you can figure anything else out. I'll be in touch.'
Abishai looks at Qualksander confused. "Are we not going to search the residents for weapons while we still control the scene of this crime?" He turns to his friends when Qualksander leaves and says, "Call me crazy, but I'm starting to feel like Mr. Lumen's doesn't want our suspect caught. I know, it's crazy but..." His voice trails off as he's lost in thought. "Maybe we should just leave this problem for Qualksander to deal with and continue our mission to find the Balowang."
As he sees the Arrow arrive Abathax immediately graps his Rapier from his back and moves towards where the arrow come from. Looking for anyone running away etc. Assuming the others can take care of Klapton.
