He signals a halt and takes time to drink from his water skin and speaks a small charm to produce Goodberry in the palm of his hand. He will distribute the berrys out to everyone... so no grumbling tummies mid sneak. :D
The first room holds little as it seemingly collapsed on itself, burying whatever was in the room in rubble.
The second room holds an open sarcophagus, its stone lid stuck between the coffin and the wall. The wall bears faded frescoes of spear-wielding warriors charging across golden plains on horseback.
Marasatra tucks her ink vial away, muttering a quick apology to the ranger as the clatter of armored boots and Arkon’s boot-heel thud echo down the tight hall. She hustles after them, scale plates scraping stone, and snaps her wrist toward the half-orc fighter. Ekko darts ahead in a blur of leathery wings, settling like a silent epaulette on Zim’s pauldron—eyes and ears where hers can’t reach.
“Impulsive doors are how ledgers gain new lines,” she grumbles under her breath, quickening her pace until she’s just behind the vanguard, staff ready and green-tinged gaze sweeping each newly revealed alcove.
Valeria cautiously follows Marastra down the corridor. She would prefer to not run into any more ambushes but somehow she sensed they wouldn't be able to do much to avoid them anyway. She stays vigilant all the same, ready to slay any cultists the dragon squad hadn't already taken care of.
Gorin follows the others and seeing the sarcophagus in the 2nd room asks
"Should we open it to make sure no undead remain in here?"

In the third room, Arkon kicks the door open and sends something tumbling back. It seems to be a burnt corpse, a pile of them amassed in this room.
In the last room, the walls and floor of this room are covered with streaks and splashes of dried blood. Two dangling bodies are shackled to the east and south walls. One is an elderly male human; the other, a young female tiefling. Both are covered in bloody gashes, and neither is moving. In the middle of the room is a sturdy wooden chair with a bloody whip draped over it. A bucket half filled with salt sits on the floor nearby.
Looking into the 2nd room's sarcophagus, there looks to just be a few bones and a layer dust atop it all.
Marasatra cranes past Zim and Arkon; the sight of the shackled pair pulls a hiss through her teeth. “Torture chamber—those two may yet breathe,” she says, lifting her staff. “Zim, give me a clear line.” As the fighter edges inside, she extends her free hand: a thin thread of pallid light snaps from her fingers to each victim in turn—the cantrip spare the dying sealed with Jergal’s sigil. Staff still raised, she slips around the doorframe, healer’s kit already unslung, intent on closing the distance so she can work her Battle Medic triage if a pulse remains.
Action: spare the dying on the elderly human (and a second time again on the tiefling if allowed). To speed things up and if nothing interferes, she would spend two more actions to try and bandage them if they are indeed still alive (Battle Medic feature and two uses of her healer's kit, 18 uses would remain).
Battle Medic. If you have a Healer’s Kit, you can expend one use of it and tend to a creature within 5 feet of yourself as a Utilize action. That creature can expend one of its Hit Point Dice, and you then roll that die. The creature regains a number of Hit Points equal to the roll plus your Proficiency Bonus (+2).

Valeria follows Marastra down the corridor, motioning for Sarris, Gorin and Arkon to follow, making a face as she notices the pile of corpses. "Is there some way to make sure those corpses back there won't stand up and come after us?"She asks Marasatra as she comes up behind her.
Meanwhile the tiny invisible imp flies over to the door to the north and listens for sounds of cultists on the other side. Perception: 18
Marasatra doesn’t take her eyes from the shackled pair as she threads gauze beneath the tiefling’s wounds. “In theory, yes—Jergal’s Funeral Rites seal a corpse against animation for a full week. But I didn’t prepare the ceremony rite at dawn, and even if I had, it demands an hour and twenty-five gold in sanctified reagents for each body.” She cinches a bandage, voice low but steady. “With charred husks stacked like cordwood back there, we’d lose the better part of a day and a purseful of silver. For now we trust in salt and distance, and pray whatever raised them has moved on.”
