As you edge towards the end of the forest, a bright light can be seen. It has been some time since you have looks upon the light of the sun to this degree. Not since you entered the dense core of this forest, thick in its underbrush. Light barely pierced that cover, even at noon.
Your eyes adjust as you move further towards the edge of the treeline. You see a wagon dug road before you, bending around the edge of the woods to the west and east.

Kirozi shields his eyes with his hand as he approaches the road, a smile spreading across his face. Over two years combing the woods, searching the picked clean ruins, and exploring the small alcoves and caves that dotted the landscape. "New horizons at last." He tugs at the strap of his backpack, more an excited tick, than actually adjusting anything. He continues east, staying to the side of the road and keeping his ears open for wagons and horses. Perception 21
The road seems bare and barely used. After some time of travel you hear the distant braying of a horse. Above the treeline, down the road, you see a thin trail of smoke.
Kizori quickens his pace upon seeing the smoke. He has never seen the human village with his own eyes, and only has the stories he has been told be his parents to go on. Kizori had seen a horse before, sonhe knew the sound, and he knew that the other races rode them often, but he was eager to see one up close.
Like a wonder, the house is revealed from the treeline; a large wooden two story home, painted red and brown. The horse is tied to a tree near the road, also brown with bits of red. It appears to be in good health, raising and lowering its head several times and snorting. No humans can currently be seen.

Kirozi's smile broadens as he sees the horse, and he jogs to get closer, then slowly approaches, whispering soothing words and noises to it. "Hello there horse. I have never seen one of your kind up close before. My travels have never lead me to yours before." He makes several cooing noises, keeping his arms outstretched to his sides and slowing his pace. Kirozi steps up to the horse, quickly examining it, before reaching out to pet the side of it's head. "You are more magnificent that my parents story!"
It neighs loudly, and then accepts the petting. It is surprisingly large, but you guess it would have to be to carry people. Its hair is soft and well kept, its muscles tight and strong; it is evident that someone cares about this animal.
"You're prettier than I expected." Kizori turns his attention to the nearby house. "Is that where your family lives? I should go say hello." And with as much fluster as he showed the horse, he begins walking toward the house. "I do hope they're friendly."
The porch aches under your steps, but hold. Someone inside hears the creeks and calls out; "Someone out there? One moment, I'm putting something in the oven." He sounds nice.
"Kirozi, that's a unique name. Your common seems a bit different; what lands are you from? And what do you want to know about Whinny?" You hear the oven shut and footsteps start coming from the back of the house.
"Everything I can! I have never seen one before. I am from the forest to the west. And before that I traveled the plains to the south, and before that I came from the coast. Horse's are not very common there. No one to ride them I guess." Kirozi stands patiently, still smiling as he examines the design of the house.
The house is fairly plain, but well secured; the supports look strong. "Never seen a horse? How could someone have never..." He pauses halfway through the livingroom. "Um... Oh, hello. Um... Hi. Uhhh...". He is clearly stammering at your appearance. His appearance on the other hand is much like his house; plain. Simple overalls and a shirt, covered in flower. Its even reached his young face and light brown hair. He looks stunned.
Kizori raises his large hand in a wave, "I like the your supports. Though, I did once seen an elven design that used a smaller board to cross hatch with the larger beams. Added beautiful designs to their structures."
"I would just like to know about horse's. And, if you would allow me, to view the construction of your home." Kizori gestures at the house, as if taking it all in. "If you cannot take a guest, I understand. I will just continue up the road." He points to the east.
A tree is bumped by your shell as you turn to leave; and falls over with a loud crash. The Orc yelps and runs faster.

"Greetings! My name is Kirozi. I would just like to meet you, and ask about your horse!" He says with a tortle smile.

"I would just like to know about horse's. And, if you would allow me, to view the construction of your home." Kizori gestures at the house, as if taking it all in. "If you cannot take a guest, I understand. I will just continue up the road." He points to the east.
"Um... are, you... are you a Tortle? Are you a wanderer?" A little bit of wonder can be seen in his eyes.
