Khessa, focused on the fight with the elusive monster, is surprised and galvanized by the boldness of the heroic Kobold and feels incredibly... galvanized by his battle cry - a cry that makes her think more of a dragon than a small scaly creature...
'How much powerful heroism can be found in apparent humility...' the blonde arcane warrior thinks, as she already prepares for the next combination of thrusts and slashes that will take down her opponent.
But the tall adventuress, just galvanized by Kni, launches into the attack as if nothing had happened: "If you really like fire so much, patchwork monster..." she retorts "...I'll give you some back!"
[[ OOC: Khessa uses her Reaction to cast Absorb Elements, halving the fire damage. With her Bonus Action she uses Second Wind to regain HP. With her Action she Multiattacks with Hazirawn. Straight roll, I guess, since the Chimera is giving her Disadvantage but Kni has given her Advantage. ]]
Well, surprisingly the little Kobold does some serious damage! Mosaic tiles fly all around! (How much of that is piercing?)
The Tile Crimera retaliates with 2 attacks against Kni: nat 20 to hit for 8 + 4 = 12 dmg (horns) and 15 + 7 = 22 to hit for 7 + 7 = 14 dmg (claws).
Khessa gets another Fire Breath in her face:39 fire dmg(DC 15 DEX save for half)
Recharge: 1 nope
(22 damage is piercing.)
Kni lets out a scream as he's knocked aside by the chimera's horns. Followed by a yelp as the beast's claw tears through his magic made armor, unknowingly summoning green flames upon the chimera.
Reaction: Hellish Rebuke, Dex save DC 16 for 36 fire damage, half on pass

So this happens before Khessa's attack. Chimera's DEX save: 14 it takes full dmg and explodes into countless mosaic tiles!
Khessa smiles and, as if the two fire showers she was subjected to were nothing more than two water bombs of hot water, goes to give Kni an enthusiastic pat on the shoulder: "Great job! With a bodyguard like you, anyone could sleep soundly!"
The blonde arcane warrior takes a moment to put away her weapons, take out her spider-web-decorated spellbook and take note of the wonder of the mosaic monster. She in the meantime ponders aloud: "Either this mosaic-monster is a magical trap that resets over time, or Varram and his company have not yet passed through here... But since we have no way of knowing which of the two hypotheses is the right one, now that we have eliminated this magical guardian, perhaps we should continue on - and find out what it was guarding!"
Apart from the watchful statues nothing seems to happen. The next chamber is a high vaulted dome with a deep inset ledge circling the room, 10 ft wide and 15 ft up. The floor here is set with a beautiful tile mosaic showing a knight in plate armor wielding a glowing sword against a chimera. The word “SAFE” is written in chalk on the door to your left. The double doors right in front of you are plated in corroded copper engraved to depict a group of wizards peering over a pool of water. The oversized figure of a male wizard at the top of the image raises his hands as if summoning a creature from the pool. These doors bulge out noticeably from their frame. And near the wall to your right a sun is depicted in the mosaic.
Khessa, enthusiastic and proactive as usual, will surely go and try to open it... if opening it proves particularly difficult, she will turn back to her companions, raise an eyebrow and ask: "Hey, how about a hand?"
That won't be necessary. Your pull unleashes enough force to break the hinges and send the doors and a wall of rubble crashing into the room. (The ceiling in the next room has collapsed and caused the doors to bulge out from their frame, pushed out by the weight of stone.)
Kni is still shocked at his first instance of damage he took in the fight. He lies on the floor for a bit before realizing the beast is gone in a puff of tiles. He staggers back up and looks around for a bit. "Y-yes, Kni did it!" He cheers once he was sure the beast was gone.
(Sorry for the slowness all. I've had a lot going on :'D)
Zale feels as if this fight was a bit underwhelming, but shrugs.... then eyes Kni.... then rolls her eyes. She can't say she's not impressed by his fire-power... but she's not about to admit that fact. Her eyes widen a bit as the door and walls suddenly start to collapse towards Khessa.
Khessa barely manages to to avoid the wall of rubble. Although she remains unharmed the fall of rubble leaves the hallway filled with stone and impassable.

Round 2
Khessa didn't expect the monster to breathe repeatedly, so the second jet of flames hits her full on.
But the blond arcane warrior's magical instincts kick in once more and part of the flames are absorbed by Hazirawn's blade, making it flaming, instead of burning her armor and skin.
But the tall adventuress, just galvanized by Kni, launches into the attack as if nothing had happened: "If you really like fire so much, patchwork monster..." she retorts "...I'll give you some back!"

Khessa's Rolls:
Concentration: 10
Second Wind: She regains 6 HPs
Khessa's Multiattack with Hazirawn:
Attack 1: 11 Damage: 12 (magical slashing) + 1 (necrotic) = 13
Attack 2: 15 Damage: 11 (magical slashing) + 2 (necrotic) = 13
The first attack that hits also causes 3 (fire) thanks to Absorb Elements
(22 damage is piercing.)

END OF COMBAT!
I'm guessing only the concentration check happens.

Reminder: this is the room you are now.

Khessa's choice would still be the double doors, as she proposed before the fight.
Are you trying to open the double doors alone? Or are you waiting for someone to help you?

"Uhm... as I was saying," Khessa jokes, slightly embarrassed "the other way is definitely the way to go! Shall we now?"
