...But in any case, no path that would allow us to continue is revealed, if I well understand. So Khessa actually admits: "Maybe there are options we failed to consider. Let's go back a while and take another look at the mosaic room".
The tall adventuress resumes there her search for other paths to explore...
"There is no way for free water in the lair of a mummy Lord, their power dissecate everything around them." he says while he sees his friend wondering about the well.
Since the well room doesn't seem to allow further exploration, Khessa returns to the mosaic room and tries to search better in that one.
The Detect Magic spell should still be active, in case there are magical auras in the room other than the typical lair ones already detected in the well room.
Khessa slides the circular plate and examines the narrow shaft... Varram and his men probably went down there, so either there must be a fairly practical way to go down, or pre-existing, or created by them with ropes or something else.
However, the blonde arcane warrior, if she deems going down difficult, fixes a rope to one of the boulders of the nearby collapse and lowers it along the shaft, to facilitate the descent or the future ascent.
She then calls her brother from the safety of his pocket dimension and sends him to scout below: he sees without problems, thanks to his Blindsight and a bat should not arouse suspicion, in an underground tunnel: "Go, Anator, and if you find creatures or anything worthy of note, warn me telepathically and come back to me. Ditto if you find forks or intersections".
Ok... so Anator flies in and notices that the shaft widens to a hallway that slants down sharply. Varram could have walked here without crouching. After about 80 ft Anator finds a room that is filled with the smell of incense.
Khessa tries to have Anator explore the room (keeping him close to the ceiling). Is there anyone inside? Or is there anything of note, other than the smell of incense?

There doesn't seem to be anyone. Rich tapestries cover the walls. On the wall to the left (on the map) a chute large enough only for a Small character to squeeze through lets in light from outside.
Khessa shares with her fellow adventurers what her brother has discovered.
"Anator has detected no creatures, on the way to the room I described; so..." the blonde arcane warrior invites everyone "shall we go?"
And, if no one objects, the tall adventuress leads the way to the room, while her familiar continues the exploration along the only possible path: the chute on the wall to the left. If nothing happens beforehand, when the party reaches the room she begins examining the tapestries that cover the walls - both looking for hidden passages, and trying to understand what is depicted on the tapestries.

So, you (all) follow the hallway down to the new room right?
Ok, so you follow the hallway down, Khessa taking the lead. However before you reach the room Khessa feels a "click" and has just enough time to think "this can't be good" before you all hear stone sliding away near the previous room (if Detect Magic is still up you have a 75% chance to notice it reveals something magical). Suddenly a large boulder start rolling down the hallway!
I need you all to make a DC 17 DEX save. Fail is 21 bludgeoning dmg and 21slashing dmg. Halved on a succes.

Jean will try to figure out where the water is going after Khessa pulls the lever, listening with one ear to the conversation happening behind her.

With what you know by now you assume that the water flows to the magic pool that was the source of Diderius’s power.

Knowing what look for you notice that the sun depicted in the mosaic is actually a sliding circular plate that reveals a narrow shaft.

Can you make a Perception check for Anator?

(Sorry for being so slow :'D. )
Zale waits patiently as Khessa lets Anator scout out the shaft. Though she eyes Kni through the entire process.

Oh, Anator also sees the doors in the room:

Might we have time to cast a spell? If yes, Khessa teleports out of the way using Misty Step...
