Jean dusts off her trousers, excited at the quick fight, "Yes, well done, Sir Kni!" She starts a little as the wall collapses, and attempts to cover her surprise by running a hand through her hair and smiling at Khessa's joke, "Onwards is onwards, after all! Let's continue."

"Nothing can prevent a dwarf from passing through the mountain, my dear" Eric says, then he starts murmuring in dwarfish and when he starts waving his hand, de debris move until he reconstructs the previous passage, eventually opening the other door as well (Eric casts Stone shape )
DM: not sure about the dimension of the fall, but it looks to me that the spell should work in this situation, let me know anyway , Eric also may cast Fabricate spell if is more appropriate for the task :)
[[Sorry for the late reply. Easter lasts until monday here]]
I'd say Eric has enough experience with stone(s) that he could guess that the debris is more than 5 ft thick. (You can choose to use multiple spell slots or take back the one used with this knowledge)
So the party enters the next room. There's a well in this room. A bronze bucket on a rope sits near the well, while an empty basin stands 8 feet up along the wall to your right, with stone steps leading up to it. A brass lever protrudes from the wall near the basin. The sides of the well and the floor next to it are covered in bright red mushrooms. Sleeping rolls and camping gear are scattered around. As with the door leading into this area, “SAFE” is scribed on the wall in chalk.
"A well..." Khessa muses aloud "Sleeping rolls and camping gear... But no sleepers or campers. They're exploring the bottom of the well, maybe. I could shine a light on the bucket and lower it, so I can see if the well leads anywhere or not. But I don't like those weird bright red mushrooms!"
The blonde arcane warrior keeps her distance and tries to burn some of the mushrooms by throwing at them magical fire.
The mushrooms are slick with a watery sheen, so they don't really burn that much when your spell hits them. However you notice something strange: when parts of the mushrooms are blown away from the the blast of your spell the segments that could be eatable begin to molder.
"There must be some form of magic at work..." the tall adventuress comments, beginning a ritual that allows her to better determine the perimeter of the magical area and the school of magic involved.

You will get to explore a multitude of magical auras. Most are illusions and some are necrotic. You also notice that the magical energy is distorted or possibly incorrect/incomplete information is passed on in 25% of the cases.
"Hmmm... Interesting..." Khessa explains to her fellow adventurers "There are illusion and necromancy spells at work... And (perhaps because of some of the illusion spells) I would say that the magical energy is distorted or possibly incorrect/incomplete information is passed on in about 1 in 4 cases!"
"The necromancy spells could be the ones that suddenly make the mushrooms mold..." the blonde arcane warrior reasons "Or it could be an illusory effect as well - maybe the mushrooms are already moldy and reveal their true nature if removed from the illusion field".
"I think we should all try to look carefully there..." and the tall adventuress points to one of the illusion auras - if there are several, she points to them one by one ("and there, and there, and there...") "and try to see if we can figure out what's behind the possible illusions".
[[ OOC: What should we roll, to disbelieve? If you successfully disbelieve an illusion, then the illusion becomes transparent to your eyes and you can see the truth through it, right? Khessa would like to make this attempt - and for the other party members to do so as well. ]]
Eric uses Identifyspell to find out it the well is somehow magically warded.
If not, he picks up a small piece of stone, which while Eric plays it in his hand becomes imbued with pale light then tosses it inside the well while watching it falling into.

No roll is needed, the illusions are easy to see through once you you realize it.
BTW Eric with all that's going on you, as a Cleric, must have realized that:
These are the regional effects of a Mummy Lord's Lair
Eric uses Identifyspell to find out it the well is somehow magically warded.
If not, he picks up a small piece of stone, which while Eric plays it in his hand becomes imbued with pale light then tosses it inside the well while watching it falling into.
Diderius used water from this well for his divination pool to create a mirror-like surface for its powerful rituals. The well holds water still,
but the regional effects Diderius imposes on his lair causes it to evaporate within a few rounds of being hauled up.
Khessa's goal was above all to identify any illusions that conceal new ways forward. So, if there are any parts of the wall that emanate illusion magic, she tries to test them, to see if one can actually pass through them.
Furthermore, the blonde arcane warrior examines the well with Eric, to determine if the well, at the bottom, gives onto another possible path (or if it is just a well).
If neither of these two tests reveals any new ways forward, the tall adventuress, as a last resort, tries to pull the brass lever that protrudes from the wall near the basin.
Eric watches the shrooms rotting and the water draining and rises from the well looking to the other, visibly concerned by his thoughts "Friends" he says "this place is more than a tomb in ruin, as you have already saw. Here dwells a lord of the undead. Evilness and power of great emperors and sorcerers of the past may not die with their mortal body and through blasphemous rituals they may be endure into a non-life. The strange effects you see is an emanation of their power through their lair. Perhaps Diderus disposed that sort of ritual after his death becoming Mummy lord himself"
He briefly stops "Those creatures generally sleeps into a tomb or a sort of sacrophagus in the centre of their lair while hide their very heart in a separate place for their safety. It has been told in fact that they cannot be truly banished from this world until their original heart is destroyed by fire. Perhaps, Varram and his cultists have been attracted by the cursed treasure that mummy lords custody into their tomb. We should proceed carefully my friends, If Diderus actually become an undead lord, I am afraid he is an enemy beyond our power"
Khessa listens attentively to what her beloved dwarf reveals - and immediately takes notes in her spellbook with its spider-web-like cover.
"If this undead is so powerful, perhaps Varram has not come to challenge him and steal his treasure..." the blonde arcane warrior hypothesizes "but to request a divination on behalf of Tiamat. Perhaps not even that many-headed dragon is able to know everything and for something he needs the services of the undead diviner".
"Of course, we will have to move with extreme caution" the tall adventuress admits. "Capturing Varram alive would have been difficult enough even without having to be careful not to irritate an undead of overwhelming power. But then, again, if we manage to prevent Varram from consulting Diderus, perhaps this will be another blow to Tiamat's plans".
With that, Khessa remues her search for a way forward [[ OOC: as previously posted ]]...
"This also is an interesting theory my dear, I fact I doubt that Varram has the power to challenge Diderus" Eric replies. He stay at Khessa's side once she pull the lever.
The illusions in this room just seem to hide the fact that you are in a dusty old dungeon (they try to keep up the illusion that it's still a grand temple).
You may have more luck in 1 of the previous rooms?
Khessa, as last resort, pulled the lever... nothing happened?
If that's the case, the blonde arcane warrior admits: "Maybe there are options we failed to consider. Let's go back a while and take another look at the mosaic room".

Khessa then begins to lead the party along the other path, the 'safe' one, not cluttered with rubble: "That's the spirit!"

[Sorry, missed that. I blame the Kingsday and Liberation Day festivities]
Pulling the lever opens a sluice in basin, allowing water to flow to another room.
