You know what? I'll allow you to cast a spell. They all happen at the same time though (so Khessa can't wait to see if Eric's spell works). Anyone else wanna cast a spell?
If she has time between hearing the click and hearing Khessa's warning, Jean will pull her jacket tighter over her shoulders, casting Misty Step and teleporting to just ahead of Khessa's new location, spinning back around as she lands to check on the others.
[[ Ok, I'll bend the rules a bit because you can't actually see past the bone boulder (because I think it's going to be funny). ]]
A deep, booming sound resounds from above.
BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.
A giant ball of bones and skeletons, about ten feet in diameter, comes crashing down from above with a thundering force, the walls shaking with every bounce. Dust and pebbles flutter from the ceiling as panic spreads like wildfire.
Khessa and Jean react instinctively. They shout Misty Step’s words at the same time, and in a flash of silvery light they disappear — poof! — and reappear behind the bone boulder, safe… or so they think.
Simultaneously, on the other side of the bone boulder, Eric spreads his hands and calls upon the power of the earth. With a deep growl of stone and magic, a wall rises from the floor — Stone Shape — at just the right moment. The bone boulder collides with it with a deafening CRACK, and comes to an abrupt halt.
Silence.
Then… an awkward silence.
Khessa and Jean look up, relieved that they haven’t been crushed—until they realize they’re now on the wrong side of a several feet thick wall of stone and bones. They look at each other as skeletal hands try to grab them if they get too close.
On the other side, Eric, Zale, Kriv, and Kni now notices that Jean and Khessa are gone.
Kriv sighs. So… they saved themselves from being crushed by teleporting themselves into a dead end?
After a short silence Kriv starts laughing. Whahaha, man I missed this kind of monkeyshine!
[[ OOC: Lol! Yeah, funny... To be honest, the way I imagined the scene, I didn't expect to teleport into a dead end. I mean... I imagined the boulder coming from behind us - so that even further back there was the road we came from. But OK, obviously I imagined the scene wrong; we'll handle this. ]]
Khessa is relieved that Jean was also saved - and is a little worried about the others... although the fact that the 'threat' has stopped gives her hope that they may have avoided it as well. "Eric! Is everything okay? Is everyone safe?"
The blonde arcane warrior however stares with grim determination at the animated parts that would try to grab her if she gets too close: "The trouble doesn't seem to be over yet... Let's try to make this... ball of restless bones completely harmless!"
After that, the tall adventuress begins to repeatedly hurl magical fire at the still-moving bones. She intends to reduce them all to ashes - so that she can later open a path through them at her leisure.
"We are ok, fortunately. The Gods have been merciful. And I won't let these bunch of bone separating us any longer!"
After said so, Eric waves his hands toward the living dead conglomerate, his eyes burning with sacred flames. He Channels divinity, casting Destry Undeads
It was a dead end in the way that Khessa and Jean couldn't go further in the dungeon. They could still go back to the mosaic room or investigate the part of the hallway they've already been.
But with your combined effort you eventually clear the way.
Khessa runs to hug Eric as their combined efforts make short work of the necromantic bone barrier: "Once again, what tried to separate us could not hold for long!"
Once the embrace is released, the blonde arcane warrior turns to Zale: "If whoever built this place likes traps so much, perhaps we should expect more... Anator has already traveled this path - but flying. If there are other pressure plates, we could be in for more unpleasant surprises. Do you feel comfortable checking the path as we go, my friend? Even if it makes us go slower, we are not in a hurry anyway... even if Varram finishes what he came to do, this is the path he will always have to return on".
Once Eric has hug Zale Khessa back he replies "Indeed we should! And my eyes are keen also in the darkness of the tunnels, we won't be surprised again!" then he check the others "which way to go now?"
"Let's keep going, in the same direction we were going before the trap," Khessa suggests. "If the host has set a trap for us, it should lead somewhere interesting."
Eric proceeds at Khessa's side. While they walk through the corridors Eric casts Detect Magic spell, and he often steps before the arcane warrior to check the way ahead for traps. (his perception check would be 20)
The rest of the hallway seems free of traps. Once you enter the room Anator founds you hear an unfamiliar voice whispering Humility proffered in the manner of Mystril shelters those opening the way to seeking knowledge.
I'll allow it, but both your rolls were enough for you remember a holy gesture among adherents of the fallen goddess Mystril, involving turning the head downward and raising the hands as if holding a lamp.
"So, there must be some trap..." Khessa hypothesizes "And assuming that position (turning the head downward and raising the hands as if holding a lamp) while opening the door - perhaps even for a certain distance while continuing - will allow one to avoid it. Perhaps there is a sight that can petrify or do harm, like that of a Medusa or the like".
The blonde arcane warrior then tries to determine which of the various doors could be the most suitable 'to seeking knowledge'... She tries to compare them, to look for clues... Are there particular decorations or inscriptions that differentiate the various ways?
After the whole spell and boulder of bones ordeal, Zale facepalms... this is why she doesn't rely on spells. Well at least they are all alive.
Once Khessa makes her way back, she awkwardly endures the hug, patting Khessa on the back. "Aye, I'll take it from here." She grins. Leading the way, she begins searching the floor for traps as the party proceeds.
Investigation: as consistent as always she has rolled a 6

With misplaced self-confidence, Zale leads her fellow adventurers down the corridor. Fortunately, her assumption that there are no further traps is correct.

You've got the feeling that this room is an antechamber for the the room to to right on the map (the double doors). The other door looks like something servants used?
Eric's one is 13
In case a spell can be casted before the boulder arrives, Eric would cast Stone shape creating a stone barricate, trying to stop its run.

There's a flash of Necro magic around the boulder. (It isn't a boulder at all. It's a gigantic sphere made of hundreds of skeletal bodies )

Khessa warns: "It isn't a boulder! It's a sphere made of necro magic and skeletal bodies!"
Then, as the menace is almost at her, she teleports behind it, in a spot the sphere already passed.

(Her Dex roll if she doesn't have time is an 8)
