I am on the east coast, Pennsylvania to be exact. I am a teacher, middle aged with a 5 year old son.....so I post when I can which is usually during the school day haha! Holiday break now though :o)
I'm an ancient grandpaw residing in middle Tennessee. I've got time to check a thread throughout the day. May be a little slow and short on weekends due to travel and church but can usually manage to post atleast once.
I'm on the west coast, retired, tend to stay up late and sleep in.
The campus game club is still going strong, I had tapered down to just one game box, and pizza just for my game, not the entire club (and popcorn, and laptop). There are usually about a dozen games going on, each in a different classroom.
To post pictures, I use a free dropbox account to host them so that I can share them as URLs. Used to be able to use Google Drive or discord to host images, but neither of those allows sharing URLs of images any more.
Here's an image of Dawn:
Silver and Gold describes her color scheme. The Emblem on her shield is supposed to be a dawn, the symbol of her god. For the holy symbol she's holding in the other hand, the best I could do was a sun symbol.
Just realized that no one has answered the question about Balder's Gate 3 references.
I'm playing it occasionally, pestering my friend who is much further along in the game for hints and spoilers. So I have no problems with spoilers being included in this game, but don't have any playthroughs to share (I'm still in act 1). So my vote is for option 2. And of course option 3 is fine as well.
Do you use Google Drive or Google Docs? Or Dropbox, or anyplace you can store pictures? Google drive is free up to like either 10 or 100 gigs, I forget (I have a terabyte, but I had to pay for that - I forget what the limit is that's free, but it's not small. It's way more than enough to upload all the portrait pictures you could ever want lol. Then after you've uploaded them, you can select the picture in google drive and there'll be a button labeled 'share' that appears. Click on that, and one of the sharing options is just to get a shareable link to give people, etc. Use that link, copy and paste it, into the 'source' field, and then it'll appear wherever you link it , but you have to set it to 'public - anyone with a link' in the share settings. :)
Edit: I stand corrected - as JSenecal just pointed out, which was news to me, Google Drive no longer allows you to share it seems? It's strange, because it still says that its 'public, anyone with a link', but he's right, it's not showing up. At least, not here. Nice model btw :)
I've never played any of the BG games, so I'm not sure my input would be relevant. However I am very well read in the forgotten realms. The dalelands are still my preferred region of play.
How do you put pictures in your post? I'd like to share a pic of Bree, but I don't know how.
You need someplace to host the image online. I use a free Dropbox account, I think Imgur does the same. Google Drive no longer works for this.
Once you upload your image to a hosting service, you need to get the URL for that. For Dropbox, it will give you a URL for recent uploads in the drop down menu, but you need to edit the URL to go directly to the image.
Once you have the URL, just click on the Insert image icon from the message edit tool bar, plug in the URL, and add a description (such as the character name).
I should mention that the way I have been able to post pictures is by using the URL from Obsidian Portal, the place where those links I posted up front takes you to. I think it's possible to get a free account, but I'm not sure if a free account lets you store pictures such that you can post them. Their lower level tier accounts are something like 2 or 3 dollars a month though - not too shabby. But no one should be required to get a paid for account just to play in this campaign, I mention it just as a potential option, and because it's how I've been doing it.
Well, I'm in South Carolina. I'm just past middle age and work second shift in a factory, so I'll likely post in the late mornings or late at night after I get home.
Nice - looks like we've got a well-rounded group of people for this campaign. Looking forward to seeing how everyone gets along (hopefully well, seems like it so far). :)

I'm EST. I usually can post in the evenings on weekdays and most of the day on the weekends.
So I have never been able to figure out how to post a picture....I have one of Eltra saved to my computer...any tips?
When you're writing a post there's the "Insert/edit image" option you can insert a link to an image into on the right.
What's the source mean lol
I have the pic saved in my download folder
You have to provide an online link to it.
ha alright well....I will set it as the campaign profile pic because that I know how to do haha

I'm on EST and I work late during the week. I normally have enough down time to post while at work.
I played BG3 and killed basically all the really evil things.
I've done pbp ever since Giantitp and I DM games with some friends on Discord and Roll20. We're wrapping up Storm King's Thunder right now.

I am currently playing, hoping to finish the game before I turn 50 in 7 years lol

I think there's a thread in the general forums. I use Imgur or something to that name.
