OOC: is Jakob wearing gloves, gauntlets, anything? Because Mikhael loves basically using the spell light as a joy buzzer, but it only works if they have gloves or jewelry. 

Edit: Ignore this. I wanted to do something silly but now realize it might lead to hostilities.

After straightening up the shrine and spending an hour meditating Medskan returns to the inn

"Well if it isn't the dragon what saved me spirits from the flame!" Durbun passes Medskan an ale on the house.

"My thanks"   looks to the others.   "Did you find any information of use?"

Kalman gives an intel briefing to Medskan, "There's a castle, name escapes me right now, to the north.  It was abandoned and it looks like the Hobgoblins and their kin have taken up residence.  But they are subservient to something else that is living in the depths below the castle.  We suspect the prisoners are being taken there.  We should make quick preparations and head out before something bad happens to those prisoners."

"Indeed that sounds like where we should be headed"

"I am ready when everyone else is ready."

The first decision is, how do you want to go? There are roads you can follow, either partway to Witchcross before bearing right to Red Rock, or you could go down the Dawn Way, to Elsircross and then to Red Rock.

Looking about the group "If we follow the river to the north of town, I am an excellent fisherman. I can provide food for us on this route."

Balin starts grumbling and getting mopey.

"The Dawn way is a paved and established road, and if we could rest and restock in Elsircross. On the other hand, heading towards witchcross appears more direct. One is faster and one is safer. I leave the decision to the military men of this group."
