Galorash moves to check the door listening first, then for traps and will pick lock if it is locked

((Hmm, could Jakob use his sword to ignite one of Galorash's arrows? I don't imagine the rite would cause it to like flame, more so be like white-hot if that makes sense.))

The door Galorash checks is not trapped, and he doesn't hear anything from behind it, though that doesn't mean there's nothing there.

Kalman has his crossbow trained on one of the Ettercaps.  If one senses the party and moves down the stairs, he will shoot.

Galorash opens the door quietly in case of occupants and stands to the side to allow others a view as well.  

Jakob gets in a protective stance as well with his flaming greatsword.

((Sorry for lack of posts, girlfriend is here from out of state, so I have been spending time with her.))

Galorash opens the door; it leads to a hall that turns a corner, you can see stairs downward around it.

Galorash will continue forward, down the hall stealthily 25 carefully keeping an eye for traps investigation 18, and peer around this corner quietly.

Jakob - have fun, no worries on my part, I'm sure the DM can have you test out the traps or something while you are 'busy'  :P

Medskan watching and waiting  (knowing if he follows then poor Galorash' stealthiness would be for naught

Galorash sneaks down the stairs on tippy-toes, making no noise; he finds a small prison with two cells, one of which has a human in it! A hobgoblin guard is here, sleeping in his chair; he is unaware that Galorash has snuck into the room.

Kalman will move to the top of the stairs that Galorash descended.

For a second you think the hobgoblin is going to wake up, but he just turns in his sleep.

Galorash turns back up the stairs and signals "1" then does the universal signal for sleeping and waves them to come down and he tries to take the large Hobgoblin out quickly.
