“Trident please. Give you this scimitar for it. I need the change.” Scimitars are generally worth 25gp and tridents only 5gp, so Mome wants some change back but is willing to settle for less than 20gp in order to avoid a scene.
The dwarf looks at you both suspiciously, "For justice reasons huh? This wouldn't have anythin' to do with the Kraken's Squall runnin' around the docks would it?" He crosses his arms.
“I’m salted crew on the Boisterous Bastard from Lhazzar Principalities. This trident will be be put to good use up north. I hope you and whomever these Kraken people are don’t fear little ole me too much.” She tries to turn on the charm (persuasion 7)
The dwarf just looks confused at Mome, but at the insinuation that he is with the Kraken's Squall he becomes agitated, "Don't lump ole' Jarfer in with that lot. They've been running around Sharn's Welcome like they own the place for a couple weeks now. I won't say I'm glad one of them got it, but it's not unexpected." He uncrosses his arms and looks out the window behind you. "Look, you don't have to be a genius to see that you two are obviously the ones they're looking for. I won't refuse you service, you can buy what you want. But if oyu want my advice, get out of Cliffside as quickly as you can. The pirates are not playing around, and there's no need to hang around if you got nothing pushing you to stay." Jarfer grabs a trident and brings it forward, while letting you buy whatever else you want.
(As for swapping your Scimitar, I believe you usually get half the value for selling items. So you can do the math for how much money you get for your Scimitar after you buy the Trident. You can also buy any other adventuring gear you need for the price listed in the rules.)
“Thank you for your trouble, Jarfer. Thanks for the trident. I better get a lantern and some oil for it. And Here’s an extra gold piece to forget you saw us. We will leave as soon as we are able.” (ooc - trident costs 5g, lantern 10g, 5x oil flasks =5s. She receives 12g5s for the scimitar. So leaves 4g.)
You stealthily head back up to the Mud Caves, sneaking past Kraken’s Squall enforcers as you go. When you get back to Copper’s house, she has left for work. But you are greeted by LANDMOP, who holds Zoveldra’s pack in his hands as he puffs slightly, clearly just got back from a trip somewhere.
Zoveldra takes the pack gratefully, but her eyes widen as she contemplates how the warforged got it. "Did you go back into the mine without us? That's...were those people still there?"

"No. I was hoping to open a dialogue with the necromancer. Wizard to wizard, but they disappeared and left a note behind."
LANDMOP explains "Did you find the supplies you needed?"
"Dude, that was crazy brave of you, with an emphasis on the crazy. Let's stick together so we can support each other. I know I wouldn't be alive without Zoveldra and without you. Now, what does this note say and what is still in the cave?"
"The note says if they see us again they'll kill us. Standard villainous behavior. We should follow the other path I suggested we avoid the first time. As I lead us astray before"
Zoveldra nods in agreement with Mome. "Yes, I would have been eaten by undead without you two. Let's stay together whenever possible." She listens to LANDMOP's suggestion thoughtfully, recalling the other passage. "Alright. Let's go check it out. Perhaps we can find a clue about Anric."

Zoveldra looks at the dwarf carefully, trying to discern whether he sees the gang favorably.

Zoveldra buys two sets of manacles for 4 gp. Hopefully she can reclaim her lost backpack when they re-enter the mine.
Anything else you want to do before heading back?
‘“I for what I needed - you?” Assuming Zoveldra also is done shopping, they stealthily return. (Stealth 7, 14)
"I'm ready as well." Zoveldra agrees.

How do Mome and Zoveldra feel about LANDMOP having gone off on his own?

"Apologies for nearly getting us all killed. I have adjusted my spell craft to be slightly more direct"
OK, so are you all heading back into the Garlstone Mine and going to the chamber marked with a crab?
