"I- I see. *Click- Whirrrrr* We do have an arena for dueling mages, but weapons are forbidden there. You'd have to receive explicit permission from a superior to use such tools. There may have been mages in the past who- *Clack* Ah, yes. Historically, there have been a variety of students, some favoring weaponry over sorcery, but they are few."
Kalos folds his arms, crimson eyes gleaming. "I didn’t come here to fit into a mold. I came to carve my own path. Magic is just one half of the equation—knowledge is the other. And sometimes, to uncover the deepest truths, you need more than a scroll… you need a sword."
He glances toward the distant towers of Lorehold, voice softening slightly. "If there’s no place for the old ways, then I’ll make one. Just you wait."
Avery rolled her eyes under her blindfold, and turned to click. "Are we gonna get on with the tour or are you going to let Gilgamesh over here keep yapping? We're getting left behind Clocky."

"Of course! We will tour in a methodical order, and we will manage to come into contact with little to no other groups! This will improve efficiency by over 200%. *Whirrrrr- clack, clack DING!* Course calculated! Follow me, students. Oh! That reminds me, while we're walking to our first location; what college do you plan on attending?"
"Silverquill, college of eloquence. How 'bought you lot?" She shouts back to the rest of the group

"Tour Group? There's a list for that?" Avery asks. She clicks her tongue, a bit annoyed, but turns to the large man and asks "Could you read out the list for me, big guy? I'm basically blind, so I can't really read out who my group is."
After having gotten a wee bit too lost in the sauce overthinking which big had been meant (even WITH Avery potentially facing his general direction), as technically the group had something of a half-giant in the mix via Mavoi, Richter finally appears to tune back into the present at the question from Click. "Which one? Uhh... honestly, I was sorta thinking Witherbloom for meself, since I'm kind of familiar with the sort of things I heard about going on there. Though, I did sort of considered Prismari too."He admitted, seeming a bit sheepish towards the end. "So, I guess my question -- if'n its not too late, but mines would be which one's more, uhh... popular, I guess."

Amari listens to the conversation thus far in wide-eyed fascination, and she chimes in once Click asks their colleges, "Oh, I'm Witherbloom too! For potions and healing magic and things like that. I wonder if we'll have any classes together..." She trails off, thinking, then turns to Click again,"Click, do any students take classes outside of their college? It'd be fun if we all saw each other around!" She turns back to the group and smiles a little sheepishly, "All of your studies sound so interesting!"

Jaud nods, making a mental note to himself about potential dangers at the school.
Recovering from his initial shock at the enormous size and fantastical structure of Strixhaven, Jaud follows his tour group attentively. As they go, his head is in constant motion, surveying the campus, trying to commit its architectural complexities to memory.
In response to the metal machine’s query about colleges, Jaud speaks up a bit more confidently this time. “I’ve been told Lorehold is the home for explorers. That’s the college I’m here for.”
Turning to Click, Jaud asks, “Will we get the chance to study ‘in the field’? I’m hoping to learn ‘hands-on’.” Not that Jaud has anything against books and libraries and classrooms and such, but he’d rather be out and on the move whenever possible.
,"Click, do any students take classes outside of their college? It'd be fun if we all saw each other around!" She turns back to the group and smiles a little sheepishly, "All of your studies sound so interesting!"
"Thank you - I'd like that." Mavoi smiles "Our Colleges do not define us, after all."

"Oh! You seem to be under the premonition that you start your college year one! You will have time to research, then you will choose a college in year two. There are classes that are shared. You will receive a course sheet at the beginning of classes. Most likely, you will make your decision after spending time doing assignments for the colleges. And yes, there is field work. *Click* That came out wrong. You will be able to get hands on experience in the field."
<Sorry, I made it sound like you chose classes year 1>

"Well, you've certainly dashed all our hopes, little Warbot. Do you have more bad news to deliver, or are we ready for the tour you promised us?"
Kalos chuckles under his breath, adjusting the strap of his grimoire and glancing toward Mavoi with a crooked grin. "Give him a break, Mavoi. Click’s just doing his best. Besides, sounds like we’ll all have time to see what suits us before locking anything in."
He looks ahead thoughtfully for a moment, then adds with a quiet confidence: "Lorehold’s where I’m headed too, though. Their blend of magic and history? That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Fieldwork just sweetens the deal."

"Oh... *click* we have arrived at our first location, then!"
He starts saying, as if from a teleprompter, "The center of Strixhaven is the Biblioplex, the university’s main library. At the heart of the library is a snarl, a tangle in the fabric of magic, that glows like a miniature sun in the grand Hall of Oracles. A star arch called the Dawnbow curves across the sky above the library, marking its location as a center of mystic learning. Arches welcome inquisitive minds into the library. Inside, almost every surface from the floor to the high ceiling is jammed with stacks of books. The interior of the Biblioplex is vast, with long hallways, archive chambers tall enough to have their own weather, and even pools and moat-passages crossable only by boat. Five lines of beacon-towers radiate from the Biblioplex like enormous spokes. These Torches of Enlightenment stretch out to the five college campuses and beyond, more than a hundred miles into the surrounding countryside. They burn perpetually with magical flame, symbolizing the path toward learning and an escape from ignorance."
Richter just dumbly nodded along, froze up for a second, and then pulled out a small notepad to begin taking some crude notes using a charcoal stencil of some kind. "Better to know now either way, 'cause that would've been purtty awkward later." He drawled on, then let out a bit of a chuckle. "Hey, uhh, Click? While we're going 'bout on this tour, is there any rules we should pay particular mind to adhere to?"

"Silverquill." Mavoi states "Their reputation for Battle Mages is excellent - and a little learning wouldn't hurt." he adds with a shrug.
