(Sorry, as you might have noticed, I'm new to PbP. Thanks for the tip though, I'm always open to corrections. :) )

The Mistfolk, seemingly angered at your words and action, growls with a hissing sound like steam, and lunges at Xi and Lan.

Xi:

Hit: 10

Dmg: 8 Slashing and 1 Cold

Lan:

Hit: 21

Dmg: 4 Slashing and 4 Cold

(Lan was dodging, I assume you rolled the attack with disadvantage? Just making sure it didn't get looked over, since the rolls don't show.)

Lan rolls with the icy slash, too late whipping Stone-whorl into guard as frost already dusts his sleeve. “Strike the densest swirl!” he snaps, eyes fixed for a counter-blow.

The Mistfolk slashes towards Lan with an icy sword conjured out of the air, the blade just barely clipping Lan and drawing blood that immediately freezes. The Mistfolk also slashes in Xi's direction, but misses by a few feet.

While Xi's Mage Armor was barely noticeable due to the Subtle Spell, the phantom Shield that appears when the creature attacks is obvious.  Xi steps back to ready her next action (not enough to cause an opportunity attack.
"Shame on you!  You're not nice!"

(OOC: Is everyone okay with group turns?)

Jheng points his crossbow at the creature.

"It seems this creature does not have the ability to listen."

True Strike Hit: 23 Damage: 13 Radiant and 6 force

(19 Damage total)

The creature is pushed back 10 feet.

Jheng moves back 30 feet away from the creature if possible.

(I'm OK with group initiative.  Also, I accidentally hit the "to hit" button while deciding my next action.  Do you want me to keep it or re-roll?)

The Mistfolk is pushed backwards by Zheng's attack, but doesn't seem extremely injured. It hisses at you, and makes a loud howl-like call.

(Lan or An? I’m confused who’s turn it is and/or in which round we are.)

(We're in round 1, Xi took defensive action & reaction, Lan dodged,, Zhang attacked, so did the creature and no word from An)

(... and no word from Heng Da.)

(Okay, if we don't hear from Heng by end of the day tomorrow, would it be okay for me to just skip them?)

(OOC: It seems like the player for Heng has not been active in 2 weeks.)
