Lucan nods at Kamran, "We appreciate you trust. It will eventually, if we have anything to do with it, be found out. We will find the killer. I have a feeling the spice board is not very reputable. I aslo feel like the Artisan of Ink is either a pawn hoping for his name on the wall, or has blood on his hands. For us to be successful, we will need to investigate these folks in some way."
Lucan looks around at the others, "Perhaps we can do some indirect investigating and do some surveillance of a few of these folks mentioned here. I'd don't want any of this to come back on Kamran."
"Kamran you realize that may already be too late. I would be very careful. Oh..I owe the receptionist a coffee I think. I'll let the receptionist know I was drunk and someone falsely used your name. I'll give you a couple gold to treat some of those who may have overheard our deception."

Krakan smiles at Kamran, saying "See, why we needed to talk in private, but we couldn't explain in your waiting room? We just needed to understand one another, right? Hah!" Krakan holds his hands on his hips, making his pectoral muscles go bumpity, bumpity, bumpity. "Here, let's shake on it. Look, I don't have any rash on my hands! Oh, wait, you had burning hands... maybe on second thought... no. But thank you for the information, you have been so kind." He gives him a big smile and turns to go.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Samir presses his palms together, "May fortune and blessings find you, wherever your journey leads". Samir turns and walks out of the room and waits outside for the rest of the group.
Sensing no reason to distrust him, Salty offers a grateful nod. "Yer trust is well placed, and I'm fer thinkin' so is ours. Fare ye well."
When the party reconvened in the street Salty said, "A few answers and a few new questions. Tis a den o' snakes we seek to unwind." He shakes his head gently. This complexity gave the burly orc a headache. He preferred an enemy with the stones to stand up and grab a sword, not these backdealing wolves in sheep's clothing.
Kamran quickly goes back upstairs and back to work. The party heads out and are now standing on the Grand Avenue once more. You can still smell the lingering scent of coffee from the corner cafe.

Krakan rubs his hand on his stomach, saying “Anyone feel like some coffee? I feel that I need the brew to focus my thoughts, help me to concentrate and see the path forward. We could also see if they sell any interesting.. spices. Or if anyone knows anything being so close to Kamran’s office. Anyone else feel like one?”

"A nice cup of coffee would do us well, I think. We can discuss our next path forward while we enjoy a moments rest." Samir agrees with Krakan and lifts his nose in the direction of the wonderful scents coming from the road.
The party heads to the corner cafe and the signs reads Bean there, Djinn That.
The exterior is adorned with ornate, geometric tiles in vibrant blues and yellows, reflecting the region's rich artistic heritage. As you step inside, the aroma of freshly brewed cardamom-spiced coffee mingles with the sweet scent of freshly baked pastries. The interior is cozy, with walls adorned in intricate tapestries depicting scenes from local folklore and history. Soft, ambient music plays in the background, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The seating consists of a mix of small, round wooden tables with mosaic tops, each surrounded by mismatched chairs draped in colorful fabrics. Patrons sit leisurely, engaged in animated conversations over steaming cups of tea or coffee served in delicate glassware.
Above the bustling counter, shelves are lined with jars of exotic spices and sacks of freshly ground coffee beans, adding a sensory dimension to the space. The baristas, dressed in traditional attire, skillfully prepare orders with practiced hands, their movements a dance of precision and hospitality.
Through the cafe's windows, sunlight filters in, casting patterns of light and shadow across the tiled floor. Outside, the city buzzes with life, but within this corner cafe, time seems to slow down, inviting visitors to linger, savor, and enjoy moments of connection and community.
Krakan stops at the counter, deeply smelling the aromas of the various spices, pausing and closing his eyes with each deep sniff. Finally he makes his way to the counter, placing an order for a hot coffee with the most flavorful smelling spice that sounds like a good addition to the coffee. He turns to the others and motions them up toward the counter, commenting “You’ve got to smell this…”.
As he’s standing there by the counter, he asks with interest, “Pardon me, where do you get your spices? These are incredible! Do you have a regular supplier for them? Is there competition in town for the various spices for your shop? Just curious.. you do a great job here.”

Salty is overwhelmed by the scents and options available. When the others have ordered he steps up and says, "I'm not fer knowin' much 'o yer spices. I'll be havin' something what curls yer hair if ye takes me meanin'." He offers whatever he hopes is a friendly looking wink to the barista. If further questions of a ground bean nature arise he clarifies, "I takes me coffee like an ancient swamp wyrm, thick, black, and scary fer most."
Tyrese nods at the suggestion of coffee, "I owe the receptionist a coffee anyway."
On the way out from seeing Kamran Tyrese say to the group loud enough for the receptionist and others, "Oh wow was that a misunderstanding. I was told the wrong person geez."
He stops at the receptionist he bribed with a coffee, "What kind of coffee do you want? I have them send one over to you."
Lucan back to his the name he'd been using will check out the ambiance of the place. He quickly order a coffee that was requested by the receptionist has a delivery individual take it to the receptionist back where they came from. Lucan orders a triple smooth and rich espresso for himself. He pays up rrequired amount of coins.
"I like this place..I'm working through some coin and I'll need to replenish that pretty soon."

The Barista smiles and says "All of our spices and beans are sourced from many places found by an adventurous soul who travels the land and seas to bring these delectable tastes to our customers. Many would pay a fortune to find out where we get our top-quality spices and beans"
Krakan's coffee is Qahwa coffee. Medium roast beans with infused cardamon, dried rose buds, and cinnamon
To Salty the Barista prepares and gives him Kahve Sade. This coffee is intense, bitter, earthy and brewed in a copper pot. Very concentrated with thick crema on top with sludge like grounds beneath it.
At last, the Barista will give Lucan his expresso.
The unusual, blur haired, orc smells the hearty brew and then sets the cup gently on the counter. Giving the concoction one final check he delicately stands the small spoon straight up in the center of the cup. With the steady hands of a surgeon, he removes the finger used to hold the spoon upright. On baited breath he waits, a large grin spreading over his face as the spoon remains standing for several heartbeats before tipping over.
"A proper cup o' coffee if 'er I seen'd one, and I'm fer likin' yer shop's name, too!" he says with a smile. After fishing around in his pouch for a second he produces the coin needed to cover everyone's order and a generous tip.
