Ranbrek looks anxiously in the direction Calen described the trail.
"I worry for those people who were taken by the goblins. There's no telling what'll happen to them. That's someone's child in there; I can't imagine how I'd feel if my own son went out one day to never return. And the more time we wait, the more likely it is they don't make it out. I think it's best we try and rescue them now."
"I want to at least take a look." Unless anyone stops Calen, she will start following the trail for a bit, keeping quiet. Once she sees a suitable tree, she will climb it and try to get a better view from afar so at to not get too close to whatever goblin camp those tracks lead to.
Jasra, looking noticeably better after Ranbrek's efforts (which earned the dwarf a grateful smile and a "thank you") attempted to follow. She was not exactly an outdoorswoman but she was slender and graceful... which made it all the more embarrassing when, following 30 feet behind Pisgah she stepped on a twig.
OOC: Stealth 6
Sorry guys the dice aren't favouring me much at the moment! :-(
As Calen attempts to scout out where the Goblin trail heads atop the tree... she can see mostly the tops of trees, but not much else. Do you continue along the path?
Seeing as he had urged the party to follow the trail in the first place, Ranbrek follows the group, side by side with Jasra. Before departing, Ranbrek led the carriage to the side of the roads and did his best to hide it from being seen from either direction of the road.
You see no enemies about, and manage to move the Snare out of the way withought triggering it. As you move throughout the trail, Pisgah continues looking for traps and enemies (perception check for Pisgah please). Is there anything the rest of the party wants to do?
Ranbrek is content with continuing to follow the trail. For a brief moment, he thinks of his wife and kid, wondering if this is worth the risk, before quickly refocusing himself.
"How about this? Let's get this load of supplies delivered to Brathens, ask about the ambushes, and then we can come back and pickup the trail?"
Ranbrek looks anxiously in the direction Calen described the trail.

Caleb nods at Rannrek's words.

(Stealth/Survival: 5/14
Acrobatics: 18
Perception: 6)
Pisgah nods and then follows Calen about 30 feet behind.
STEALTH roll of 20 (19+1)
OOC: Not sure why but for some reason the character sheet rolled two more times after the 19...

Calen will quietly climb back down and be between Jasra and Pisgah. If they continue, so will she.
Seeing as he had urged the party to follow the trail in the first place, Ranbrek follows the group, side by side with Jasra. Before departing, Ranbrek led the carriage to the side of the roads and did his best to hide it from being seen from either direction of the road.
(Stealth check: 17)
Just to be clear, Pisgah is leading the party, Calen is behind him, and Jasra and Ranbrek are together bringing up the rear?
That's how I understand it as well.
Pisgah
Calen
Jasra + Ranbrek
Calen will stay within eyeshot of everyone but be closer towards Pisgah, it we're not all within melee range of each other but spaced out.
OOC: Yes I'm happy with that marching order!
OOC: Yes, I think that is correct. With Pisgah trying to stealth about 60 feet or so ahead of the party.
OOC: Marching order looks good to me
As you venture along the path, Pisgah sees a Snare, hidden in the leaves. What do you do?
Pisgah throws up a fist in a sign to halt the party.
PERCEPTION roll of 5 to see if enemies are still nearby.
Seeing no one nearby Pisgah attempts to disarm the trap.
SoH roll of 17 to disarm the trap
Once the trap is disarmed, Pisgah keeps moving down the trail as quietly as possible looking for more traps and enemies.
You see no enemies about, and manage to move the Snare out of the way withought triggering it. As you move throughout the trail, Pisgah continues looking for traps and enemies (perception check for Pisgah please). Is there anything the rest of the party wants to do?
PERCEPTION roll of 21 (18+3)
Calen will ready some darts and assist the others, if they want to do something.
Ranbrek is content with continuing to follow the trail. For a brief moment, he thinks of his wife and kid, wondering if this is worth the risk, before quickly refocusing himself.
