Immotichey fights against the onslaught of water called upon them by the priestess of the Deep Father. His claws of his feet digging in provide him the ability to hold his ground. He then calls upon the spirits of nature to guide his allies to strike against the priestess.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Evrik and Chubby both get much closer to the eye of this drain, starting to loop around its center. Another failure or two will lead to the eye itself. Several kou-toans are already performing death-spirals, not that they would drown regardless...
The archpreistess feels the power of the Faerie Fire... 11 just managing to shrug it off. The sea mother archpreist is also near enough to the blast. 14 and gets caught by it, suddenly glowing whatever color Immotichey had chosen.
Also, all of the guards on both sides were effected.
Enemy Guards: 19
Ally Guards: 2
They too are caught in the blast. It seems immotichey's spell effected everyone but it's intended target. (Anyone else in melee range or very near the archpreistess needs to also make this save)
From the hole, you see kou-toans seeming to become frightened, stabbing at some unseen foe beneath the water...... That occupies many if not all of the other kou-toans, as panic begins to spread within the ranks. More kou-toa joining the frey.
Evriks spell hits the archpreistess, and she 16 manages to hold her flooding spell up. She however seems to be quite weak, she was standing in the only spot the flood was not effecting.
The Derugar, seeking to help finish the ***** off, swam at her. 18
Save: 20
However, much like the other Dwarves, he gets swept away in the current, and begins to circle. He panicked a bit, and was unable to concentrate enough to consider throwing his dagger. (LOL THESE *******DWARVES!)
Eldreth had been caught in her bonds until moments ago, hers having somehow been tighter than they should have been. She too fights against the current.... Save: 8 managing to balance herself and swim at just the right speed to overcome it. She charged forward as much as she could, getting just within reach of the archpreistess to swing her warhammer.
Attack: 9 Damage: 4
You see the archpreistess fumble for a moment, the warhammer glancing off her chest but hitting hard enough to crunch a rib just right. The archpreistess fell, with her final breaths, she manages to cry out..... Leemooggoogoon!!, the surging waters suddenly engulfing her, the water draining into the hole, and just as her body dissappeared into the eye... dozens upon dozens of ixitixachitl come driving out of the hole, apparently drawn by the ritual, and the mass of blood, and gore.
And begin feasting on the kou-toans nearest the eye, even as the water fades. Seeking out any targets in the water they can find to devour.
Crispy let's out a bark of a laugh as the Priestess dies, and watches the water recede. On her turn, she will try and help either Chubby or Evrik get up and try and regroup with everyone.
"Now?!" She asks, "Now can we get the Hells outta here?!"
As much as a mess the whole thing was Cade kept his wits about him. With a shout of, "Aye! Back through the Sea Mother's side if we can." in reference to the ArchPriest that helped them side. He starts to half-swim (wade?) his way towards the escape route, only slowing to check and make sure the others got ahead of him. Remembering the Duergar in the struggle, he takes a brief few seconds to see to it their new 'guide' recovered and followed along with the rest.
"Come on, big guy. Let's get going while the going's good."He would say, offering to help pull the dark dwarf to his feet and usher him along if necessary.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Combat still surges all around you. It doesn't seem to matter that their leader died. Their faith in the deep father was strong, but the new enemies were sewing havoc as they bit, chewed, and devoured anything they could. Blood was flowing everywhere
In the chaos beneath the receding water, Cade and Evrik feel somethign brush against thier legs, that suddenly, and violently take a bite at them with razor sharp teeth.
Attack: 10 Damage: 7
Attack: 17 Damage: 6
Suddenly a piece of Cade's calf is missing in a vicious bite, Evrik manages to pull his leg free from the unseen assailant before it's jaws can find their mark.
Blood continues to gather even as the chaos continues to rise. Hundreds of Kou-Toa have died, their bodies filtered into the hole by the water the water was crimson.
A deep deep rumble shook the earth, and the cave seems to invert in color. The water itself turns frigid and hot at the same time, steam rising up.
Much like this. If it doesn't automatically skip to this time, skip to 1:20 and watch from there.
This whole situation was getting out of hand at an alarming rate. 'So much for my reward', the Warlock thought, watching dozens of kuo-toa die in mere seconds. Arthasis would use all his power to approach the location where the archpriestess died, in an attempt to link up with the rest of the group. "What the hell is going on here! We need to get out! Now!", he shouted.
Crispy stares in horror. She anxiously hurries to rejoin everyone else. "Holy ****! I couldn't agree more!" She cries over the chaos, "Something terrible is in the water! Gather everyone up, we gotta get OUTTA here!"
She starts calling out to the rest of the team, trying to wrangle everyone up, including Eldreth and the gnome, if he's still alive - and get OUT.
"What in the...!?" Evrik yells as something, quite pointy feeling, brushes past his leg at about the same time he sees Cade's knee buckle. "Uhh... Out. Now. Quick!" and he makes his way as fast as he can toward the Sea Mother side of town and away from the water.
OOC: I can run Immo while Saute is out if nobody else wants to. For now though I think everyone's move is get the hell away!
Cade grits his teeth from the pain, and shook it off with hardly any effort. Compared to being torn asunder and made anew earlier that day, the 'itch' paled by a large comparison. "Tch! Don't need to tell me twice!"He calls out as he disengage from any nearby lurking threat and starts hastily make his way after the others. "Keep up, new guy!"He calls back to the duergar one last time.

Vogan - [Goliath-Hill]Bard - ???(A Dungeon-Delving Campaign Group C)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The trembling increases as you all begin to run away. The sea mother archpreist seems to be frozen with fear, along with his other followers... the water had finalyl completely drained, stranding the manta-like beings, left to flop and suffocate with blood in their mouths. The other faction seems to be in awe... worshpping at the air, in unison, cries of Lemegoogooon!!!! echo through the city like an unholy chorus. Dread fills your minds.
Although Bloppblippodd falls, the ritual still achieves a terrible success. It seems her blood was the final key....
Another sound rises above the burbling cries of the kuo-toa. The dark surface of the water farther out bubbles and begins to foam. A thick, oily tentacle bursts forth, followed by another. Then two monstrous heads break the surface, both resembling hideous, angry baboons with wickedly curved tusks. Both heads are attached to a single torso, and the monster’s red eyes burn with bloodlust and madness. The creature rising from the Darklake must stand thirty feet tall or more, with water cascading down its back and shoulders. Upon reaching its full height, the great demon throws back both its heads and roars!
The demon was angularly near the group, rising out of the water near the sea mothers preists home, putting him here.
Upon witnessing the rise of the Prince of Demons, each party member must succeed on a DC 13 Charisma saving throw or gain a level of madness.
Demogorgon wades toward Sloobludop, heads roaring and gibbering, tentacles flailing and smashing the water. It seems like it will only take him less than thirty seconds to reach the shore
Escape by Land. Fleeing by land requires dodging terrified kuo-toa, and even fighting fish-folk driven to a killing frenzy against the characters for having drawn this doom down upon them. 13 (This will take you roughly 4 rounds of posting)
Escape by Water. The adventurers can steal boats from the docks and paddle them along the shore away from the attacking demon lord. (This will take you 1 round of posting, and 1 round of getting in the boat/shoving off. Demogorgon will be less than 15 seconds away from you at this time.)
Fight! You can also choose to take on Demogorgon, the Prince of Demons.
If you choose to flee, it will take alteast two posting rounds.
As you gaze upon Demogorgon, the nightmare you all shared the night before re-emerges, flashing through all of your minds at once, like how your life flashes before your eyes on the eve of death.
You all see the surface world flooded with demons, all the demon lords have taken over. The world is on fire. There is no more green, only shades of orange, red, and black. Sulfur rising in the distance, smoke, and ash coating the land in a horrorscape of pain, eternal death, suffering, and apathy. Each of you are crucified, forming some demonic circle that endlessly drains your life, flesh, and mind away, only to restore it and begin the process again. Demons harvest your flesh, by carving it straight off your bones, waiting till it is regenerated, and doing it again and again... your flesh is used to make warbanners for the Demon lords armies. In the distance, you can see entire nations of people similarly crucified, and tortured, or harvested. No matter how much happened to you, you could never die, and the pain was more intense than it should be, as if your nerves themselves were magically amplified to cause a pain to be 1,000 times worse than it actually was.
They eat at your flesh, both women, and men are 'used' in various ways. You snap back to reality.
Chubby, the walking pool floaty, braces himself against the oncoming rush of water: 13
And with that, he loses his footing and starts floating away, circling the drain like a turd being flushed down a toilet.
