Folzi stood there listening to Cara's impassioned words. Though this is not the first time he has heard such statements, and not from just this one. He lets out a tiresome sigh of his own, as he has long given up trying to debate those "good" people who have apparently lost their free will and are just here out of duty. At her insistence to the other that Folzi, he nods his head in agreement. "Yes, you have treated us well...,"he fights the urge to add a "but", however now is not the time to continue this debate. No point in alienating someone who is at least partially sympathetic to their plight. "C'mon, Cara. Let's just try to get out of here first."
The rogue tenses as the move into the bustling armory. As the half-orc dumps all the information regarding the situation outside, Folzi tries to keep up. He hesitantly accepts the half orc's hand. He slowly paces back-and-forth in thought and then snaps his attention back to Cara. "First off, how am I supposed to help. It sounds like all of my campwas destroyed," he voice wavers on this last word, clearly trying to hold back his emotions. "Any of my kind that I could muster,well..."His hand goes to his forehead to rub his temples and then smooths back his messy hair. "Second," he turns back to the half orc paladin, "is that really necessary?" he indicates the chains placed on Lyra. "It's going to be hard to prove her worth if she's bound. And third... Dragons?!"he throws his hands up in the air.
Listenting to Cara's words Lebenha looks to Folzi with an understanding look, as if they share their thoughts. But she doesn't keep quiet. She speaks as smooth as she can though
"Excuse me Cara, I didn't wanted to be mean. Not that I wanted to argue. It's just that it's so frustrating knowing that I could have done something to help those that perished today. You, and many like you, treated us well that's for sure, but you need to see the whole picture here. I am sure that none fo your Goddess really want nothing of this happening. You will be outside here in two years. We have to spend the rest of our lives in this frozen wasteland, without having committed no crime. Sometimes Cara the evil doesn't reside in the acts of the evil ones, but in the inaction of the good ones."she finish and holds the arm of the uncounscious man she is carrying with Lyra and says no more.
When they reach the armory and the paladin puts back the chains around Lyra's manacles she gives Cara a significant glance like " You see? what are you going to do about it?" but says nothing.
At the mention of a white dragon and the behaviour of the ones with dragon ascendency she opens her eyes.
" I have draconic ascendency too, not chromatic though, and I am obviously not human. I don't know if because of this or due to be at that dungeon but I didn't feel compelled to do anything. What it is clear " she says talking to the half-orc paladin " is that even if you all try to keep the appearance that everything is under control and nothing has changed is that this whole thing has fallen apart. Once you acknowledge this you will see that we need to work together if we want to get out of here alive. And to help and protect those who are injured. Putting more chains on us will not help anyone I am afraid. "

"Inactions of the good? So your solution is what? Shall we throw the doors open right now and release you all into camp? Then you and your people here can just leave. Go into a world that despises most of you? Better yet into the siege outside now and you gain this freedom you think me and my comrades are keeping you from. None of us have that power. NONE here," she exclaims. "In doing so we would be betraying our oaths, our Goddess who have charged us with your well being and protection. Freedom without thinking of the future consequences. Is that really your best solution? We just turn you loose and see what happens," she adds gruffly but before anyone else can speak Lara, the half-orc paladin, finally interrupts.
"We don't have time to launch some huge political reform from here," Lara replies curtly then looks to Lyra, Lebenha, and Folzi. "As for the chain they'll be necessary until they not" she adds next moving the group forward from the armory. "They won't be popular," she then says looking to Cara who's still grimacing with pain, "but no harm will come to them under my watch," Lara replies leading the party away from Cara and Ecton who now seek care from their own wounds being led away to the infirmary directly off the armory on the ground floor of the garrison.
OOC: No retrospect responses. Please move on.
Everyone parts, the three of you with Lyra still in chains is lead ahead by Lara who's making a goid show of it to her fellow Sunites, as if she's performing.
"Keep quiet and don't look at anyone," Lara advises in a hushed tone moving through her comrades on the stairs who look curious or give angry glances at the young female lieutenant but none challenge her.
The party is then taken up two long flights of steps into short hallway. Lara then opens a room where they find four beds, fresh water, clean robes, and food.
"You'll remain here until I come and get you," Lara says curly then closes and locks the door leaving the three of you two stories higher than you were before but no longer in danger of the Weave Stone prison below.

Lyra slowly snapped out of the trance while walkin upstairs. She follows everyone along, but compared to her calm and nearly absent composure before, she now displays a type of restless energy. The anger within her is rising again, but it is not actually directed towards anyone, also not towards any shepherd. She just tries to link her eyes to the chained manacles to evade attention and also keep her cool despite the situation.

Lyra seemed a bit surprised to be free of the chains, only nodding thankfully and then walking over to the window. As she looks outside, she beings to frown and shows a deep worry line. An eternity later, Lyra steps away and then gulps down some of the water. She grabs something to eat and lies down on one of the beds, reprobatively examining the manacles. "So, what do you think?" she adresses the other two casters. "I am not sure if whatever is happening is adventageous or counterproductive for us. One thing i can say for sure though, there is a dragon out there."
"Staus quo is getting all fouled up, so it can't all be bad," Folzi squeaks at Lyra's question. "What I don't get is that they said I could help in some manner, but then we got stuff away in this room." The gnome helps himself of some of the provided "refeshments". "Yeah, and the dragon...! I don't much like sitting around here waiting for that thing to pounce on us," he says excitedly with a mouthful, the occasional piece of ration flying out.
Lebenha takes some water and eat some food, taking it to one of the beds and crossing her legs on it while eating and drinking.
” They are so frustrating. I didn’t ask for their so called protection... why they can’t take the stick off their asses and see that all of this is just wrong? Not even with a dragon over their heads they can’t take their heads out of the bucket. “ she sighs “ Guess that not even the direst situation cannot fight against years and years of adoctrination. “
She turns to the others “ And for the dragon. Yes. I do not know wha they are thinking about but stay sitting on praying aren’t going to help against that dragon... and the rest of the Casters that can attack them. And for this situation, I hoped that it could bring some light to their brains and common sense to their hearts, but it hasn’t. And for as much as I desire to be free again I wouldn’t kill for it. Cara was right in one thing. Most of them are just young people trying to make a living and to find a pace for themselves in the world they have been born. It doesn’t make up for them ignoring the evil that they are doing, but they don’t deserve to die just to be blind and, or, cowards, to fight back against injustice. “
"What i was trying to say was that we need to think about our position in all of this. The camp is clearly under attack, the trouble is more than the shepherds are used to. While breaking free with the other casters might sound like a good idea, we have no knowledge of their intentions. I sure as hell would like to know how they managed to use magic while being cuffed though. Anyway, i am not sure what side we should be betting on. Its no fun being chained up, but breaking free never ment painting the White Waste crimson for me." Lyra stops for a second, clearly remembering something. "Hold on, did you hear about the incident earlier this morning? I was told Sister Bhalla and the Commander were in distress because of some new orders. Following these orders came the lockdown. Someone must have known about the assault on the camp, but it seems like they had no clue about its actual scale." Lyra grows quiet again, you can almost hear it chattering within her head.

“We agree then. I want free but I don’t want to align with dragons and murderers to do it. I´ve pass the las years thinking in a plan to escape that doesn’t involve fighting and I still don’t know how to get rid of this damn things” she show her manacles.
“Answering your question, if you concentrate enough you can feel the energy that feeds it... it s our own magical powers I think. But I am not sure of course. What I know is that if you are fast enough you can overcome it for a brief period of time. Let me try..!
