(In general, I believe we've chosen to find the Albino Dwarf and ask him to be our guide, with a preference to do his side quest first to gain experience, but before heading out, visit a marketplace or shop to provision supplies/armor/weapons/etc. Grugg wants to find the best armor class 'medium' armor he can afford. is also willing to perform barbaric favors as barter. I don't exactly know what that means either, but pretty confident he'd be ok with it.)
"Until tomorrow, then," Alvyn says to the harbormaster as they leave.
"Well, what now? I suppose we have time for a bit of shopping now, though we'll want to do some more in the morning after retrieving our bounty, I'm sure. I wouldn't mind a bite to eat and some... of whatever it is they drink here. I think Sylvandra mentioned a beverage called tej. Shall we get the lay of town, perhaps make contact with this Musharib fellow, pick up a few items, then find a tavern and inn?"
"Yes. Plan with ale to drink is good plan." Grugg says loudly to the Alvyn and the group. Then leaning down to whisper to Alvyn, "Magic Gnome know magic tricks? Grugg like magic tricks."
Alvyn holds up a single finger to say, "One moment," and reaches into his bag, muttering something in a language Grugg doesn't understand. He pulls his hand out and holds it palm facing up toward Grugg. "Do you have a copper piece? Any coin will do, really. Very good. Now place the coin in my palm, and place your palm face down on mine. Gently!" As soon as Grugg does this, Alvyn's hand drops off his wrist to the ground. As Grugg watches the hand falls to the ground, Alvyn makes a discreet gesture with his other hand, and a massive amount of blood appears at his wrist where his hand used to be. "OWW, LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE, YOU BRUTE!" he shouts.
After a few moments taking in Grugg's horrified expression, both the hand on the ground and the blood disappear, and Alvyn's real hand pops out from his sleeve. "Oh! You should have seen your face! Priceless! I wish I had a portraitist here to capture that. Actually..." He waves his hand again, and an image of Grugg's head, frozen in the expression of horror he'd shown a moment before, appears on Alvyn's shoulders. "You looked like this!"
The wizard winks and pats the barbarian on the leg. "Magic!"
Kosadius nods towards the harbormaster with acknowledgement to his words and just before he turns to leave here, asks him a question. " If it's not too much of a bother. I am curious to know where I can purchase a map of this city, and where do we go to find out where the individuals as guides can be found. It would mean a lot, if your so inclined that is." Kosadius does speak to him in a curtious sort of way.
Then he looks back, trying to find out what the ruckus is all about.
The Illusion is so amazing that even Alvyn himself believes that Grugg chopped off his hand, causing him to lose concentration, and his hand reappears.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Grugg, frozen with disbelief at what clearly must have been a mistake in Alvyn's magic causing his hand to actually be separated from his body, he's utterly paralyzed, jaw agape.
"Muh...muh-muh...muh-muh-muh...MAGIC!!!!!!!" Grugg exclaims at nearly the top of his booming voice. A beaming smile now stretching across is war-torn face, then erupting into a full belly-laugh."HAHAHAHAHA!! Magic Gnome more impressive than Grugg want admit!" Catching his breath, and his senses, Grugg leans down again and says in a low voice that only Alvyn can make out, "That great trick. Maybe teach Grugg something simple to show lady friends?"
Alvyn considers this request for a moment, but figures that Grugg is probably not inclined to engage in the daily study and practice required to learn wizardly magic. Instead, he attempts a variant of the old "coin behind the ear" trick, adapted to a gnome and a goliath. "How about this one," Alvyn says, reaching behind Grugg's knee and pulling out a silver coin.
Grugg's heart smiles faster than his lips can catch up and he says to Alvyn, "Perfect! Hahahahahaha!" Grugg laughs, knowing best to savor these moments with comrades between combat where life is at risk.
Raaldo gasped noticeably when he caught the gnomes hand falling off out of the corner of his eye. Then he let out a thunderous laugh as he realized Alvyn was doing magic tricks for Grugg. It warmed his heart to see the big guy enjoy himself so. "Well done sir gnome, well done!" He looks up at Gruug with a smile, "You think you can pull that trick off on the barmaid big guy? I do believe I heard a pint of ale calling our names!"

Zandak chuckles a bit and then tells the others, “I am going to find a nice place to meditate. When you all head over to the albino dwarf, come and get me will ya?” Then Zandak tries to find a nice safe place in the wilderness to connect with nature.
Kosadius was been amused by the antics of the magic display and the reactions of the others. As Zandak mentions he is planning to go and do what ever druids do with the land he just nods to him. " Take care and do be careful."
At Ortimays words, Kosadius looks at him and shakes his head slowly. " Oh no, we have not received any reward yet. The Harbormaster said he needed to verify that there was a ship and a pirate captain. Then we were to come back the next day to receive the reward. Once that was done we were going to go back and split the reward with you. Were you not told this when they went to see that we were telling the truth?" Kosadius does look a little surprised though.
In response to Raaldo, Grugg smiles broadly and nods his head, "Barmaid not stand chance against Grugg with this trick! Hahahahaha!" Then turns to acknowledge Zandak's departure with a solemn nod. Barbarians typically shun the closed in feeling of city walls, and Grugg is no exception. While he does enjoy the bright colors of activity around him, Zandak's need for nature does remind him of his own need for adventure in the field.
As Captain Ortimay approaches the group and begins to accuse them of unfairly keeping the bounty for themselves, he stands tall and follows Kosadius' lead. He seems smart in the ways of words...Grugg knows this isn't is forte. Grugg doesn't even know how to spell forte.
Kosadius smiles and chuckles slightly, noting that the captain may have been pulling their chains. He does not Grugg close, which in a way gave him some comfort but all seems well. At the question of how much, he looks around and steps closer. He tries to tell him in a low tone so the captain can hear and tries to make sure that no one else. " Harbormaster is simply going to give us a reward of 2500 gold for the ship and the pirate. 2000 for the ship and 500 for the pirate. Of course he was not budging from that price unless we went lower, so that is what it is. Now, if all goes well, what would you like for a share." At this time ( if in a tavern goes to sit, but if just out and about will stand) he will wait for a reply.
