Name: Aspen Species: wood elf Class (feel free to list planned subclass, not required however): sorcerer 1 warlock 2 Backstory: Aspen was born into the loving arms of his lonac parents. He grew up surrounded by druids. He spends most of his time in the forests near the coast of the Sroth Medan (This is from a different campaign so these places don’t necessarily exist, but I’ll just say it’s a distant kingdom if that’s ok lol) . Aspen still continued to study, eventually learning and studying from great sorcerers within their village. Now the time has come for them to step into sorcery on their own.

Do you guys want this to be an OOC thread (I'll pay attention to it, but I'll probably forget to post?)

What’s the difference between then? I’ve only ever heard of PbP and have seen OOC on some PbP threads but haven’t actually recognized what they mean (sorry for this probably stupid question)

Dont worry, not stupid
It's basically a thread that they talk on, instead of talking on the main thread

Hello! Call me Gato (Cat in Spanish) In this place where you're not here, in this place where I was with you Your eyes are too kind, and I'm covered in wounds. Don't let me love you. They say people are born different. We brainwashed in the same system. They expect perfection. So how can we be different? NOW, ALL HAIL MERLIN, AND THE GREAT MERLIN ARMY. GIVE ME A 4D8 ATTEMPT: [roll]1d8[/roll] + [roll]1d8[/roll] + [roll]1d8[/roll] + [roll]1d8[/roll]=[roll][roll:-4]+[roll:-3]+[roll:-2]+[roll:-1][/roll]
Exactly what Gato said. OOC (out of campaign) is essentially where you put what you wanna say/stuff that doesn't go directly in the campaign (think motivational quotes, random questions, etc.), while PbP (Play-by-Post) in this case is the name of the forum but also the campaigns (so where all the stuff your character does goes)
TLDR (if you're anything like me): OOC = you, PbP = your PC
And: not a stupid question at all. I spent a year figuring out what both meant.

Got it, thanks ya’ll. I think either would be nice, I don’t really have a preference.
