OOC: I am experiencing a tiny bit of confusion. Were some of these supposed to be against Jack and not Smiling Jack?
( Ah, you might have missed the OOC retcon convo following that. Barn was actually one square back from the position I accidentally placed him on the map so the Attack against Barn went against your Jack instead.)
Smiling Jack gives Ardwynn a pained grin, "I 'll be fine",... as he winches trying to get up from his prone position. "If my mentor sees me dressed like this, in rags he is sure to kill me."
Barn sits back on his heels after healing Smiling Jack, then stands up, looking at Ned's tracks as they are pointed out.
"What w-were those things? I - I thought they were wolves b-but then Jack said something about them n-not being fluffy, and then they turned into m-mist. Most wolves d-don't do that, right? Come to think of it, there w-was something off about them..."
The big man considers Ned's apparent tracks (which presumably are at least a half-day old) and then regards his injured friends.
"N-not going to give up the chase for Clotha. B-but should we rest a short while so the two Jacks c-can patch up?"
Ardwynn stomps about the area... looking at the spots where the wolves turned to mist... looking for any signs of what happened.
Passive Investigation: 11 / Passive Perception: 15
She is still pissed at how her main 'weapon' fizzled when she needed it most.
"I have more water if you need it but, I have zero healing potions or healing kits. I could not afford one before..."
There is no sign the wolves were ever there except for the jagged wounds on both of the Jacks......
The more observant notice Neds footprints along with drag marks leading south through the trees....
