Emanuel moves over towards the bar; as the doorway begins to fill up. "This place must get rough if they need a bouncer that big." He thinks to himself. Eman looks over to Lily, putting a smile on his face.
J'Sahriel Moran has her eyes on a swivel as she and Berlyn make their way through Downstairs, making their way to the appointed meeting at the Golden Hilt. The meeting that they themselves had arranged. The whole way there, the two of them had been chatting with each other, gazing in wonder at the various sights that either of them had never seen. By the time they had made into Downstairs proper, it was mostly Berlyn leading that conversation as J'Sahriel became more quiet and watchful, though she still played along like she had never been in the area before.
When the Golden Hilt comes into view around a corner, J'Sahriel gives a quiet sigh of relief.
"I think we're here, Lyn! This should be the place." Casting a glance over the exterior of the establishment, it takes only a moment to spot the warforged associate from the school. "See, there's Mr. Trigger waiting for us."
She waves to Trigger as they approach, but doesn't actually greet him since the two of them haven't spoken yet. She lets Berlyn handle that part while she herself heads on inside. She gives just the faintest bit of a smirk as she walks past Eman and Lily near the tavern's entrance and heads to an average-sized round table in one of the quieter corners of the room. Once she takes her seat, she looks up to see that Lyn followed her in without Trigger and waves her over to the table. She also flags down a passing barmaid and requests a couple of ales. Once Lyn makes her way over and takes a seat, J'Sahriel pulls a roll of parchment out of her bag and unfurls it to reveal some rather roughly scrawled writing, which she takes a quick look over before passing it to Lyn.
"Alright, that's the descriptions Jay gave me of the two friends he talked to about working with us. Think you can help me keep an eye out for them?"
(OOC: For reference, J'Sahriel is actually wearing her Morgrave University uniform right now. Somewhat ornate but not too fancy robes over a basic tunic and trousers, with the school's livery, colors, and imagery on fairly prominent display. Her hair is dark, with just a hint of a lavender tone to it, and cut a bit shorter than is typical for most young women her age.)
”Trigger will come in a moment,” Berlyn informs J’Sahriel.”He is waiting for an associate from a previous expedition. Would be nice to have others with such experience.”
She looks at the parchment and scans the room and spots a splashy couple by the bar.“Hmm, could those be them?”she asks as she points to the woman in a white dress with the leather clad man, sizing them up.
J'Sahriel glances over toward the bar at the couple Berlyn points out and gives a scrutinizing stare with just a bit of a squint.
"You know, I think that just might be them," she responds after a moment, fighting with all of her might not to smirk. "I think I'll go over and ask."
With that, she quickly jumps up from her seat and makes her way over to Eman and Lily, doing her best to look a bit nervous at the approach.
"Umm...excuse me, but would you two happen to be Emmanuel Maxwell and Lily..." she pauses for a moment with a look of confusion quickly replaced by mild horror, "oh dang, I don't remember the last name..."

Trigger waits outside for nearly fifteen minutes after the arrival of the two students, before he sighs heavily and turns to walk inside. As he stands taller than most of the tavern's patrons, he has little trouble spotting the girls' chosen table. He cuts a rather large swath through the crowd as he walks over to join them, and when he arrives, he carefully places his hammer back on the floor and resumes his former stance.
"It seems either my friend will not be joining us or is running very late. I won't hold things up any longer. If he arrives, I will fill him in."

Lily spots J'Sahriel approaching and turns toward her a sultry smile, watching her nervousness casually. She offers over her hand demurely as way of introduction. "Just Lily is fine, my dear. And you are...?"
Emanuel turns towards the approaching person, seeing the university uniform on her, he smiles, and brushes a bit of hair out of his face. "Yes, I am Emanuel Maxwell." He does a slight bow. "Its safe to assume you're who we are here to meet; where are we sitting?" Eman says as he looks around for where the group may be located.
"J'Sahriel Moran,"J'Sahriel replies with a mildly embarrassed grimace as she accepts the hand from Lily. "I'm a student up at Morgrave," she adds with a nod upwards as she turns to address Eman as well, "and a recent acquaintance of J'Sahn. He told me I could expect to meet a couple of his friends here, and the descriptions he gave me match up with you two pretty well, so I thought it might be you. If you want to join my friend and me, we're right over here by the wall." She turns and motions towards the table where Berlyn is still sitting.
Berlyn is watching Riel approach the couple with curiosity, wondering what skills they might bring to the venture, when Trigger approached alone. It’s impossible to read a warforged’s face, she thinks, but imagines an air of disappointment.
“Well, maybe he will still show up,” she responds and indicates a chair. “This should be some adventure,” she continues. “Have you ever been to the Depths?”
"Once or twice, though not within the last few years. And with how quickly what power exists down there can shift, my experience will likely mean little."

"Greetings, Mr. Trigger,"J'Sahriel says with a bit of a smile as she takes her seat again and motions for Eman and Lily to take seats as well.
After she sits, she looks around a bit awkwardly at everyone who has gathered. The table remains quiet for a short while, with everyone just looking at each other, unsure of how to proceed. The barmaid comes by with the two drinks for J'Sahriel and Berlyn. After she leaves (taking orders for others if they so choose), it gets quiet again.
After another minute the awkwardness is too much for J'Sahriel to bear.
"So...I guess we should get down to business, right?"
Trigger stares momentarily at J'Sahriel, his face unreadable.
"Perhaps the ones who called together this gathering can begin with introductions?"

Emanuel orders two glasses of wine, for himself and Lily, after taking a seat. He nods in agreement to Trigger's statement; somewhat surprised to find that he will be on this voyage as well.
"Ah, yeah..."J'Sahriel responds with a start, her cheeks flushing a bit, "I guess that probably would be best..."
She gives Berlyn a quick, questioning glance before sitting up just a bit straighter in her chair. "I guess I did say I would take the lead on this..."
She coughs once into her hand before looking up to address the whole group.
"As some...or actually all of you know at this point, my name is J'Sahriel Moran. I am a student up at Morgrave University." She motions with her arm to indicate Lyn. "This is my friend and classmate, Berlyn d'Medani. We've arranged for this meeting with the goal of putting together a team for an expedition being sponsored by one of our instructors, Professor Garthen Daela." She pauses for a moment to take a deep breath. "As to other introductions..." she pauses again, as though uncertain of what to say. "Actually...I don't think I know any of you well enough to actually give introductions...so...I guess we can kind of start there? Sort of get to know each other before we talk business, I guess?"
As she finishes, her shoulders slump and her cheeks flush once again as she looks down at the table, her hands clasped nervously in front of her.
He then turns to the two humans that he does not know.
"I am called Trigger. I work for Morgrave University as muscle and protection on many of their expeditions, though I mostly work beyond the bounds of the city. Miss Berlyn here, asked me if I could assist in this little trip."

Emanuel bows his head a little. "The name is Emanuel Maxwell, my friend J'Sahn asked us to join this adventure, to aid with our combat abilities, as well as my crafting skills; and Lily's beauty of course." He speaks with a flourish, laughing lightly as he mentions Lily.
Feeling relaxed in Trigger's presence, he unbottons his jacket, revealing a silky red blouse beneath. He smiles at Trigger. "Nice to meet you Trigger; honestly I thought I was going to be the muscle on this quest." He laughs a little. "Either way, it'll be good to have you at my side." He turns with a smile towards the rest of the group. "It is a pleasure to meet you all." His hazel eyes and tan skin makes his smile even more charming.
"Well, I have seen beauty used as a rather cruel weapon, but I am sure you have more to offer than that," Berlyn can't help saying to Lily. She smirks at Emanuel and continues,"As Riel said, I'm Berlyn. I am new to town but not new to this sort of thing.
