Fiorello jumps in the turret ready to put an end to Porphyrion as he peers out and looks for some weakness or opening but all he can see is the beast before them. (Perception: 11)
The ship feels more natural now, as Perspicacious slips into the cockpit with her baboon gunner. Working the controls quickly, she tries to find the best path to get Amaruve in close for a shot on this new threat.
Fiorello jumps in the turret ready to put an end to Porphyrion as he peers out and looks for some weakness or opening but all he can see is the beast before them. (Perception: 11)
Fiorello's display sphere immediately alights as the exterior of Castle Laputa appears within it in 3D detail. Within this glass dome, the owlakocra can clearly see the enormous form of Porphyrion rising from the Solarium. Additionally, several additional figures have begun to rise from the Castle, as well. It's not clear what they are... maybe they're the birds you noticed rising a few moments ago?
Porphyrion is now standing at full height. His immensity is nearly impossible to guage... 2500 feet tall? 3000? Its head slowly swivels toward your party as the interlocking teeth of its upper and lower jaws opens slightly. The air quakes as the creature's voice thunders around you.
If that creature manages to escape this island, there's no telling the amount of devastation it could unleash. If Sagacious is in there, he must be stopped at any cost!
Taesn leads the charge. Your communication crystals light up, indicating that she is preparing to speak. You hear a moment of silence, and then the line cuts out. The time for talk has past.
Ariel EXPLODES. She accelerates with unbelievable speed, and suddenly her twin guns begin to blister the surface of the giant, dealing 42 piercing damage.

Fiorello steadies his mind as he focuses his sites on the Solarium as he summons a guiding bolt and his left hand reaches up to the sky and makes a motion to throw the bolt toward Porphyrion. (Attack: 8 Damage: 24) (Attack: 22 Damage: 14)
As the weapon releases, he adds a prayer as he lifts his right arm as if releasing a bird of prey and casts a spiritual falcon towards the beast as well. The faint silver glow of a falcon bears down on the beast lashing out with its talons. (Attack: 20 Damage: 5)

Perspicacious tries to get in closer to the monstrous construct. "Amaruve, look for a window, a cockpit, anything. If you see that gray bastard, blast him with all we got." She slams hard left on the controls, sending the skimmer into a barrel roll as she attempts to dart in close to the face of the enemy.
(We'll say that Perspicacious gets her barrel roll in just before the giant, and Amaruve will move just after)
Turn Order Taesn: 20 Jean: 20 Tony/Fiorello: 20 Porphyrion/Sagacious 9 Perspicacious/Amaruve: 8 The Armada: 6 ???: ???
Porphyrion is peppered by the onslaught of your ships' combined forces. Jean's harpoon (with tow line) is deeply embedded in its knee, Taesn's gatling guns have scored deep grooves along a very small section of its chest, and Fiorello's magic has dented its left shoulder a tiny bit.
And then there's Tony. The goblin's rage-fueled barrage of blows results in the giant's elbow to CRACK incredibly loudly. A chunk of the creature's substance (what looks to be something like petrified wood) flies away from the joint and onto the cobblestones below. Enraged, Porphyrion's attention is immediately focused upon Brutus. It raises an arm as if to strike...
Suddenly, out of nowhere Perspicacious rolls madly in front of the giant's face, momentarily distracting it! Amaruve has advantage on his next attack! (Alternatively, Porphyrion has disadvantage on his next save against a spell cast by Amaruve!) Porphyrion has lost its turn this round!
In this opening salvo, this brief awakening period of the beast, you all have performed incredibly well. For a moment, you would be forgiven for feeling a flicker of hope in your chests that, just maybe, this fight can be won.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
And then you see it. Fiorello, it wasn't a flock of birds you detected on your monitor. Swarming from behind Porphyrion's back is an armada of Laputa's robotic guardians. They're awkward and ungainly, but the ancient machines have extended their accordian-like arms to reveal them to be web-like wings. In an instant, the cloud of metallic protectors are among you, attacking the steam skippers and Porphyrion with bolts of fiery energy!
Swarm vs. Porphyrion: 24Damage: 21Fire Swarm vs. Ariel (Taesn): 8Damage: 9Fire Swarm vs. Brutus (Tony and Fiorello): 13Damage: 8Fire Swarm vs. Caspian (Perspicacious and Amaruve): 22Damage: 14Fire Swarm vs. Duncan (Jean): 14Damage: 10Fire
(Steam skippers have an AC of 16- Caspian and Duncan both take damage!)
And with that, we're back at the top of the turn order! Taesn focuses all of her energy on evading the guardians, zooming between them while keeping Porphyrion in her sights.
Maneuvers: 26 (And she manages to evade them completely! She's immune to enemy fire until her next turn!)
Tony slams the steam once more, spinning himself along the arm of the giant and collides into the head of Porphyrion, specifically the eye, “GIVE ME BACK TONYA, OR I TAKE YOUR EYE!”
Amaruve starts to cling again as Prespicacious gets off to a rough start, and just about abandons ship when she gets it under control, which is even worse. He takes a deep breathe and grips the cannon he sees an opening and fires at the elbow where a mass of armor has broken loose from Tony Ramming it.
He squeezes the tube and sparks fly. A jet of blue white lightning sprays from the gunner's seat and carving through the joint like a solid beam, dealing 25 Lightning damage and draining 4 power from his available pool. (Dex save DC 15 w/ disadv. Lightning Bolt)
Amaruve's lightning bolt courses through the giant (DEX: -3). The arm remains intact, but the electrical attack has briefly interrupted the force innervating this god-like being; the ponderous weight of the arm suddenly drags it slooooowly downward.
Tony slams the steam once more, spinning himself along the arm of the giant and collides into the head of Porphyrion, specifically the eye, “GIVE ME BACK TONYA, OR I TAKE YOUR EYE!”
Tony loses composure. His attacks succeed in hitting their mark, scoring deep gouges against the cliff-sized faceplate of Porphyrion. However, his strikes are more wild, and Brutus takes a fair amount of damage (7bludgeoning to Brutus; 3 bludgeoning to both Fiorello and Tony). Additionally, the rattling of the cockpit has briefly shorted out Fiorello's sensor bubble! He will be unable to use it until after his next turn!
As Tony screams Tonya's name, the burning white lights of Porphyrion's eye sockets dim significantly. Its head swivels toward Brutus and its jaws open slightly...
Tony slows the engine to a near stop, “...Oh come on... that just isn’t fair...” He yells back, “Tonya! Are you in the giant, or are you the giant! I need some clarification before I have a breakdown!”
The swarm narrowly misses Fiorello. As they fly past he yells, "You will have to wait! But I'll not forget." He pushes the swarm out of his mind for a moment as he makes a wide motion with his arm. The faint silver falcon screeches and turns back toward Porphyrion and it again attacks with its talons. (spiritual weapon Attack: 11 Damage: 9)
As the spiritual raptor attacks, Fiorello mumbles a few words while making an odd gesture with both hands and then he points at Porphyrion and the great sound of hells bells erupt around the creature. (Attack: 14 Damage: 22 DC WIS 15)

Jean yelped as her mech was hit. She saw the harpoon embed itself into the titan's knee and had an idea. She gunned the engine and began to fly in circles to wrap the cord around the giant's ankles.
