As Vespera steps back towards the door, guided by touch, she passes the door and continues on. You eventually reach the end of this darkness when you are about half way into the big room (approx 15 feet away from the door you just exited).

Silverlining moves to exit the chamber by feeling the wall when he can no longer see. “Perhaps the darkness will pass in time and we can better examine it at that point.”
Vespera knows exactly where and how to do the job. The lock is opened / released. The clanks from inside have almost certainly masked the very small click the lock mechanism made.

The room inside is pretty much the same as the other two you have seen. The difference is that here the sarcophagus in the center is open. It lid lies on the floor. On the inside of the lid there is a likeness of a knight of some sort, with full plate and large shield. Posing with a longsword held to heart.
The source of the clanks that were heard form inside the room is staring at you from across the central sarcophagus. (basically, door, you, sarcophagus, knight)
Its a pretty exact image to the one you just saw on the inside of the sarcophagus''s lid. A full plated knight, with a large shield and a longsword. Its visor is facing the door.

Manny asks his imp to guide him and Manny places a hand on Silverling's shoulder to guide him as well.
The darkness's radius enda about 15 feet beyond the door. You are now all there.
How long would you like to wait and see if / when it dissipates ?
Manny (rolls arcana 9 ) I am guessing it should be about 10 minutes before it dissipates.
“I don’t think we should wait. There is another chamber to examine. We can do so and return here to check and see if the darkness has dissipated.”
Vespera nods in agreement, "That sounds like a good idea, but is everyone up for another fight?"

You head to the third chamber, the one with the clanking. The door as on the other ones is locked. The lock is the same, simple kind.
OOC- anyone have an lock pick tools? I do not. I do have a skill to lock pick but no tools.
OOC: Vespera does. As a rogue, she gets those as starting equipment. She's been unlocking the other doors.
"My turn," comments Vespera as she moves forward to unlock the door. Pulling out tools from her pouch, she gets to work unlocking the door.

Manny taps the shoulder of his nearest companion, and points at the "faceless" empty knight armor.
OOC is the visor open does the knight have a face or is the visor nothing but a black cold hole?
