Onji nods at Irtos' comment. "I understand that as i too am useless in the water, but! The Party needs to check out the bottom deck or two? Not sure how many more their are. The answers can very well be down there. I plan to take off my armor and with a dagger check out the bottom hold. I prefer a partner, not so much to protect me, ...but to recover my dead body. So you want to finish this search or do you want to add your muscles to getting that other room door open?"
I will follow your lead. Onji does a bow and extends his arm to allow Irtos to lead to the direction they go, up or down.
Irtos considers the situation, "I think there are already enough people to check out the last room. But for searching below, we should wait till everyone is available. Those who are good at swimming can do the exploring, while those of us who aren't can wade through the partially flooded room to provide support from above with magic, just like we did handling the zombies and ghoul."
Marin sees Ash and Dirk struggle with the opening the door as it appears something is blocking it from the other side, and then hears Onji mention the idea that the holes in the floor and ceiling that they found might lead to this room they're trying to get into right now.
"I might be able to climb up through that hole in the ceiling we found and see if it leads into this room?" Marin offers to see how eager everyone is to avoid swimming or put it off for as long as possible.
He then heads back to where the two holes are and tries to climb up through the one in the ceiling.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Onji says to Marin, "I will join you incase there is something new in the lower deck."
Onji walks with Marin to the lower deck but stops short of the water. Looks around the lower deck for a dry place to put his stuff and armor if he needs to go swimming. Also is providing overwatch.
Irtos will go watch them from above, ready to offer support by spell if needed. She's staying on the deck, but positioning herself so she can keep sight of them.
Marin has a speed of 35 and if he dashes it could be 70... which is halved for climbing so back to 35 per round. How high up is the hole? And is it big enough to climb through?

OOC - When you answer, if you can also mention where we would set armor gear etc. if we go swimming down below the lower deck into the hold. If the closest dry space is the main deck so be it.
With Dirk’s help, the door crashes open to reveal two drowned sailors in a cabin that must once have been luxurious. A half-collapsed bookcase holds waterlogged, disintegrating scrolls, and a polished wood desk leans awkwardly on three legs, an ornate compass set in its center. Beside the sagging, rotting bed, a jagged hole gapes in the floor.
Everyone, roll Initiative.
Marin, give me an Athletics check. On a 15 or higher, you successfully climb through the hole from the lower deck, appearing essentially behind the two zombies. On a failure, you remain on the lower deck. If you roll a 5 or lower, you lose your footing and fall through the second hole into the fully flooded dark hold below.
Onji, you can set your gear on a nearby crate if you wish, but be warned: everything in this ship is slick, wet, and smelling of rot. There is no dry surface on the lower deck.
OOC I assume I am basically the furthest away? As i am on the "dry" steps in the lower deck, Marian is at the hole. Irtos is above me on the main deck and the other two are at the door with the drowned sailors (zombies?). I would still have my armor on. I have three choices I assume?
1. Get wet and wade through the water and climb up the hole
2. go back up the stairs and join the other 3 and crash through the door and join the fight:
Which is the quickest option considering I need time to climb up the hole?
Option 3 is unacceptable, i.e. do nothing
Onji hearing the warning of ZOMBIES from his mates, instinctively takes a single step back up the stairs, but holds to see if Marin is successful or needs assistance of some sort.

Just so you and everyone else knows, now that we are in initiative, movement on the lower deck would count as halved due to the difficult terrain
OOC I assume it is 2 turns to get to Marin, or can I dash?
Onji sees Marin not just struggle but almost fall into the hole to go even lower. Strides down the steps and struggles to cross the water to Were Marin fell, spitting "%#$*!#!$%"
