Oh! Damage for Heat Metal: 6 (fire)

Alijurn looks at the chaos and clears his throat and shouts at the top of his lungs with the authority of a high ranking military. "EVERYONE, DOWN ON THE GROUND AND GIVE ME 20, STAT!" His inner ki channels through his words and everyone within 30 ft that he can see or hear (that does NOT include his "allies") is forced to lay down on the ground by the power of Alijurns Channel Divinity (DC 12)

With that, the herd of people fall flat to the ground, pressed under the weight of Alijurn’s spirtual pressure. To say the least, the situation is suppressed. However, the girl remains standing and struggling against Alijurn’s grasp, locked in a grapple between the two of them. Ellywick’s melody strikes the blade, which begins steadily vibrating as it grows red with intense heat! She does indeed drop the blade and take 6 fire damage, “Gah! Are you kidding me! I get why you people are involved, but who’s the gnome!? We didn’t even do anything to him!”

Ashe is up!

Ellywick shouts out (as a free action), "Alright, cleric-she's disarmed. Let's all just take a breather before anyone else gets hurt."

Persuasion (against remaining NPC combatants): 11

Ashe feels a soothing wave over her body when the holy bat imparts the heal. Her nose seems to click back into place, albeit bruised and bloody. Cautioning against further injuries, Ashe reluctantly coats herself with the magical energies that shield her from harm (most of the time). It covers her like a slick goo, though it would not look like that to anyone else. Oh well, eventually the gross feeling would wear off.

The drow narrowed her eyes at the tiefling. "We just have a few questions for you... It's a matter of life or death." She stressed the word death a bit more than she intended to.

(Action: mage armour)

With the bar now surpressed under Alijurn’s demand, no one else is hit by flying elbows. With that, Cupcake has landed onto the tiefling. What on earth she will be doing is beyond me, but both Cupcake and Mondra’goran may act!

Cupcake evidently bides her time until she can destroy the mortals.

Meanwhile, Mon shuffles his way into Ashe’s hair. It’s a real bat’s nest now.

The tiefling will try again to break free of the grapple, 22 vs Ali: 21. With frightening speed and competency, she elbows Alijurn in the throat, which, while not enough to injure him, is enough to cause his grip to loosen as he stumbles. Taking this moment of freedom, the tiefling runs to the door, bolting past Ashe from Alijurn! Both have just enough time to strike her before she reaches the door!

Before she has a chance to break away, Wick plunks a broken chord and shouts a less than flattering allusion to the tiefling's sexual proclivities.

Cutting words: 3

"Now let's all just take a breather and talk this out, yes?"

The bitting words distract the tiefling just long enough for Alijurn’s focus to return to him and for him to take hold of her once more, keeping her trapped in a bear hug. With that, seeing as how she is now outnumbered 3-to-1 with her only cover of escape now on the floor, she sighs, “Fine. Let’s talk.”

Mondra'goran returns to skulking in the Darkness of the rafters (Skulk: (1)9) poorly

Dahme'dre peeks through Mondra'goran's eyes again and Hexes the girl, dampening her charm. Then she reforms her hiding place with a fresh new crate to hide inside.

The sounds of hooves and police tapers off.

Ellywick hops off the table and quietly assists the patrons around him, helping people to their feet and cracking a few jokes at the cleric's expense. He keeps his eyes on the party and the tiefling, staying near enough to pursue them if they make a speedy escape. 

Alijurn gets real close to the tiefling and whispers into her ear. "You know who we are, huh? Then allow me to start the interrogation." His forked tongue touches her ear. (General intimidation: 11)  He turns to Ellywick. "You, gnome! Know a place where we can talk privately?" 

Wick looks at the dragonborn for a moment, considering. Just then, he notices Vard Baldbeard, the owner of the bar, looking seven colors of pissed and barking orders at his employees to clean up the mess. Wick nods to Alijurn, then jerks his head to the back of the bar where a door to a darkened room stands ajar. "We'll talk over there," his expression reads.

The room, despite the bar’s overall quality, seems passable. With a single bed, wood floors, and a small desk in the back, the room has enough space for all of you. It’s not as nice as Bridgeway’s, but you get the feeling that Baldbeard is still trying to run a business here. It’s got a... charm(?) to it.

Small and nimble as he is, Wick gets to the room first (or attempts to). He sets up shop on the desk, idly strumming his ukulute and considering what he knows about the three involved in this conflict.

For a moment, the half-elf and the dragonborn’s appearance draws your attention. They seem oddly familiar, like you’ve seen them somewhere before. That’s it! The Dragonborn was definitely in a play! Wait, no, not him. You don’t notice anything out of the ordinary.

It would appear we are heading off to some side room. I'll keep you informed, Ashe telepathically informs Dee. Ashe pulls out a handkerchief as she follows them into the room. Wiping the blood from her face, she refastens the makeshift veil before this gnome can become any the wiser. "Oh dear, we went and made a mess of things. How fun!

"Beg pardon," Ashe addresses the gnome, "we are in a life or death situation. Namely, our deaths could be in our immediate future unless this young lady talks to us. No harm meant. You can guard the door outside if you'd like, but I am afraid the information is a bit..." She looks away sheepishly as if the topic was too embarrassing to say aloud.

We can't just have this tiefling divulge everything in front of this perfect stranger! He could have us turned in, and that would be our heads. She thinks to Alijurn.
