Alijurn is well-prepared for the tournament. In fact, most of the others seem to be rank novices! Any one of them would be an easy mark. However, it’s not till the first round that you find yourself paired against someone that you somehow missed. The gentleman seems to be a Goliath in his prime. You both squared up and with a solid uppercut to the jaw, you were sent reeling. 1. 2. 3. Well, that was short lived.

Dahme'dre spends time meditating quietly, considering her abilities and retreating her patron to aid her as she considers more effective magical talents she might have benefitted from in their recent adventures. (Attempting to adjust spells known from combat oriented to more well-rounded spells.)
Sitting quietly concentrating won't fulfill her day though. She takes breaks to poke about in common areas of the Merry Otter, planting seeds with future contacts in an ever growing network. She keeps her notes and journals detailed and up to date, and keeps on the lookout for details about the Port Masons, and Reynald Turff
As you retreat in quiet prayer and meditation, you’re mind is drawn back to the week prior, as the ship was assailed by Yeth Hounds and the vision that followed. What did it all mean? Did the others face similar scenes? However, after what was apparently hours of deep prayer, you eventually head out to find something useful.
As you roam the streets of Everywhere’s Pleasure District in the artificial light of the street lamps, you hear an enormous clattering down one of the alleys. In somewhat of a “hole in the wall” type establishment, a man is thrown clear through the doors of the building. He slams into the nearby wall in a heap. There is further shouts and uproars taking place inside!

Dahme'dre stops, surprised, for just a moment as this man is pitched into the street. It's not uncommon for fights to break out in some of the shadier bars anywhere else. Why should it be different here.
She turns to continue on her way, but a feeling settles over her, is this His influence? There's something about the scene that holds her intetest. What is it? Distant thunder rolls, even in this environment. She stands in the middle of the path and watches a moment longer (Perception: (1)10)
Mondra'goran lifts over her head and flies to the broken entry where he waits overhead, alert, and poised for battle.
Soon after another man tries to crawl his way back out, crawling under the saloon style doors, however, he is quickly pulled back inside against his will by his ankles. He then is sent flying a few moments later with a thoroughly bruised and beaten face. The sounds of battle continue.

Dahme'dre sighs and walks over this man, through the door, into the fray. Stepping up onto the closest table, she speaks, her voice booming over the ruckus. "What's the meaning of this!" The windows rattle against the sound. "You fellas aren't impressing anyone with this behavior. Which ever girl you're fighting over isn't worth spending the night locked up!" (Persuasion: (2)24)
As you step inside, the scene is quite clear before you. Holding a man in a chokehold is a massive Chimera. Standing at least 6 feet tall and almost as wide, it has thick, leathery skin and... what appears to be the head and fur of a badger. Meanwhile, as he swings the chokeheld man around, four other men are brandishing knives, brass knuckles, and what seems to be very similar to the devices Thuluku used. One of the men, possibly the leader, calls back over, “Now, now, love, we’re just havin’ a financial dispute with our acquaintance here. Nothing to worry about. We appreciate the concern though, feel free to run along.”
The bar itself is trashed by all accounts, and has been suitably emptied.

The badger barks a cruel laugh at that. Spinning the all but unconscious body of the man in his arms in a wide arc, he tosses him at the nearest thug wielding one of those blasting weapons. He doesn't notice the appearance of Dahme'dre.
Athletics (adv, raging): 24
He pulls a broad, rough-hewn steel glaive from its spot against the wall. He levels it at the leader of this little gang and growls, "Tab. Pay now, or..." he thinks for a long moment, then mutters, "Something about an arm and a leg?" He shakes his head, then readies an attack with the enormous blade.
"We'll don't say I didn't warn you lot." Dahme'dre says. She points a finger and Blasts the top hat off the head of the one who spoke, then readies a spell to Stop the next fool to make an attack (Wis: DC 13, Quickened if need be.)

However, before that...
As you see the badger grab the halberd, you see a brief tracing of light carve through the seams of the handle. The axe head itself seems to glisten despite the darkened lighting of the bar. You also see a bright stripe of light carving itself down the snout and back of the Chimera. Feel free to make a Religion check.
Meanwhile, the man that Badger Boy threw slams into a table and struggles to recover. One of the others speaks up, “Don’t you know who we are, lad! You got some guts threatenin’ us! Gut ‘im lads!”
The badger man then shakes them off with a snort and swings the blunted edge toward the leader with the knuckles. However, at the last minute, the man braces and manages to deflect the blow. However, as he recovers with a chuckle, “Not bad, freak... but it’s gonna take a lot more than tha-“ You promptly strike him in the mouth, which detonates with a burst of light, and he goes stumbling back.

The chimera presses his advantage. Leaping after the leader, he snakes around and behind him, drawing the edge of his glaive to the man's throat.
Athletics: 13
With a rumbling growl and bared fangs he addresses the knucklers and shankers, "I will kill him. Leave this place and you will live today. Leave what you owe and he may live, too."
Dahme'dre decides the time to make peace has probably passed. The top hat can live she lets her spells fly wrapping a shanker in a weave if air then blasting him, (Wis save DC 13) hitting 7 (dis/adv. 7) for 9 (if crit: +10) Apparently only managing to wing the guy's top hat.
Mondra'goran dives into action dropping a fat bomb on the other shanker Distracting him.

The man will try to shake himself free of the grapple, Acrobatics: 15 and does so as he headbutts the badger with the back of his head, “Funny, I was gonna say the same to you! Lads, grab him!” Two shankers will attempt to grab your arms and, if the first succeeds, push you down, (Them: 16 and 9 vs You: 24 and 22). Your arms are grabbed by a surprising show of force from the first, but you remain unbowed! The other man with the knuckles will punch you in the gut and try to force you down, (10 vs 15 Man!) and your knees buckle as you drop to a kneel, fury still on your face.
The head guy steps up to you as he cracks his knuckles and spits at you, “Now this...” First attack with advantage due to prone, Attack: 15 Damage: 4 bludgeoning, “IS WHY...” Attack: 14 Damage: 7 bludgeoning, “You don’t boss us around...” The first shook you a bit, but the second you just take with a snort.
Dahme’dre’s eyes then glow with righteousness as a gust of wind fills the room, (Wis: 9), yet the Shanker holding the badger’s arms back manages to shake off the divine fear. The blast then goes wide, leaving a bleached scorch mark on a nearby wall. The seemingly head man turns, surprised by this event, “Oh, love, that was a mistake. Like I said, you don’t want to get involved here.”

With a heave the Chimera pulls his arm free of the thug as the ruffian is nearly thrown onto his back by the beast. The badger stands once more, rising to his full height and grunts in rage toward the gang.
The supposed leader looks firmly surprised by that display of power, but looks around to the others, “DONT JUST STAND THERE, BEAT HIM DOWN AGAIN!” The group piles on once more, once again beat and stabbing!
Shankers 1 and 2: Attack: 23 Damage: 9 and Attack: 5 Damage: 5 slashing damage.
Knucklers 1 and 2: Attack 1: 6 Damage: 6 bludgeoning damage, Attack 2: 23 Damage: 3 bludgeoning damage, Attack 3: 5 Damage: 7 bludgeoning damage, Attack 4: 20 Damage: 7 bludgeoning damage... However, Badger Boy takes only 2 Damage and looks very peeved.
Meanwhile, Dahme’dre’s song rings in the leader’s ears (Wis: 15, for 3.5 psychic damage). The leader clutches his head and buckles a bit. He waves an arm toward Dee, “Bah, she’s a mage, someone, grab her or something!”

Without moving outside of any of the thugs' range (thus avoiding an AoO), the badger moves far enough away from Dee to necessitate someone rushing her to risk a quick slash from his glaive. Utterly silent, now, his face relaxes into a mask of quiet focus. He sidesteps quickly, keeping his back to the wall as the glaive twirls in his overlarge paws. The syrupy glow running down his back trails his movements slightly, then bursting brightly as he recklessly attacks the nearest foe.
