"Mighty Moradin," the young dwarf moans, pushing himself into a sitting position. His scraggly red beard is caked in blood and dirt. He sits like an empty sack and rubs the back of his head. As he does, a faint warm glow emanates from under his hand and he gives a relieved grunt. It isn't until he begins feeling his face for broken bones that he notices the strange group of people in the cavern. "Oh, Dracht," he curses, scrambling back. "Where's me things?"
So, a heads up. There is a DnDBeyond bug with heal spells and life domain clerics. It doesn't factor in Disciple of life, so add +3 to the heal spell. I only know this because m main character on here is a Life domain Cleric.
Disciple of Life PHB60
Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore HP, the creature regains additional HP equal to 2 + the spell’s level.
Anton holds up a flat palm, fingers wide and says to the dwarf, "We mean no harm, don't worry. My friends and I came here with a few others in search of another dwarf by the name of Gundren. He had hired us to deliver some goods to Phandelin but was evidently ambushed along the way by ... well, we're not sure exactly but we assume goblins were involved. We tracked them to this cave. My friend Delta here and I are the only ones left from that group but we ran across Leo outside the cave, tied up like yourself. Rin was exploring independently but is joining us, at least for the time being. I assume you were also captured by these creatures?"
"Aye, I was," grumbles the dwarf. "I found one of the little devils' pit traps and blacked out." His brow furrows as he bites on something in his mouth. "Human," twisting an eye at Anton, "are you responsible for the foul taste in my mouth?" The dwarf drags his meaty arm across his mouth. "You're one of the good folk, it seems." He stands up slowly, brushing off and straightening his leather. He clutches for the emblem under his clothes, his relief plain upon finding it still there. A lively spark returns to his green eyes and a smile breaks under the wild auburn hair of his beard. "I thank you," extending a hand. "Ordrin Stoneheart, son of Brantin Torgard and Gunther Stoneheart, divine emissary of Gutter Peak." Ordrin's chest seems to puff a little bigger at each phrase. "Tell me more about this Gundren."
"Hello my small and new friend! I'm Rin. Your eyes are green like mine!" says Rin, and then realizes he was trying to hide and his ears go flat, he sheepishly whispers, "Sorry, I get excited when I meet new people."
Delta has been standing relatively nearby studying the dwarf with occasional glances around the entrance they came from, the exit the goblin left by, Leoneiros, and the large pools of water. At the dwarf’s question, Delta looks to Anton, the appointed speaker of the group.
"The taste in your mouth is a magic berry, created by a druid who was traveling with us. Apparently they bring people back to consciousness. As to Gundren... I don't know much about him. I only met him once, when he hired me to do this job."
"Well met, Rin," Ordrin says cautiously. "Where might you be from?" "By Moradin, I, too, seek Gundren," Ordrin nods. "You met with him? I reckon he would welcome our aid." Ordrin recognizes his gear against the wall. As he moves to retrieve it he catches sight of the others. His spine tingles with unease, but Brantin's words echo in his ear and her wisdom calms his nerves. "If Gundren needs aid I am able." Ordrin swings his war hammer over his shoulder. "If you are good folk I welcome your company."
"I live in a small temple of lliira in Silverymoon, " Rin starts again, "But we should be on guard now. One of the goblins fled into this tunnel where something much larger roared."
"Aye," Ordrin nods, tightening down the last links of his scale mail.
Having been nearly cloistered on the mountain his whole life, Iliira and Silverymoon are nearly fictional words. But Ordrin digs deep to recall what he might have read of these in the small but rich library of Gutter Peak.

You have a faint memory of some passages of llira in book on lesser deities. All you remember is the drawing of her which drew your attention because of her vivid blue hair
Since whatever is in the next room seems to be staying there, Rin will search the two dead goblins and take a look around the camp fire area.

The goblin have 6 gold between them. and nothing else of note aside from their standard armor/weapons
As Rin searches the goblins, you hear the sound of several footsteps running across the bridge and then stopping, coming from the opening between where you came in and where the loud roar came from
Anton gets his shield and flail ready and goes to stand at the entrance where it sounds like the footsteps are coming from, trying to block the passage with his body.
The water is about 10 feet deep
Does Rin hear any other sounds coming from the next room? Perception: 5
OoC: lol, nope!
Active Effects: Armor of Agathys
:p
You have not heard anything since "KLARG SMASH" and the lights went out
