Rin gazes down at the scene of carnage and in a somber voice says, "Its a bad day to be a goblin" as his tail flicks back and forth, seemingly at odds with the tone of his words.
"I don't think we should try going down this hole, maybe back out and over the bridge?"
Rin turns around and follows Ordering. As he passes through the room, he'll look back at the supplies. If no one else has taken the jade frog, he'll grab it.
As you cross the bridge, you see a narrow twisting passage. You can hear several goblin voices (speaking goblin) coming from the end of it, one clearly commanding the others.
OoC: Do we want to continue around the passage over the bridge until either we loop back to the river or we see something else? In case it's relevant, it seems like marching order would be Ordrin, Rin, Delta/Leo (in whichever order), with Anton bringing up the rear. I suspect we're not going to find anything around there, in which case it seems like we want to start looking for secret passageways. I've probably played too much Elder Scrolls, but I'm wondering if there might be a passageway under the water. Or down in the ravine with the wolves.
Rin turns to the group, "Maybe they will just tell us about your missing friend. Surely they will see us, covered in the inside bits of their friends, and know that they are no match for us, " he says as his tail droops sadly.
Replying to Rin as he translates, Anton whispers, "So... does it sound like the goblins were fighting that creature and his wolf pet? Do you suppose you should try to talk to them?"
"I do not think they were fighting him, since the others fought against us, with him. See their bits on my spear tip." Rin says, "but perhaps they obey under the threat of his wrath, and his pet's pointy teeth. With the bugbear dead, they may welcome the chance to find their own path."
"Hmm, yeah, that might be it. Well it sounds like they're not inclined to attack us unless we attack them, so do you want to try to ask them about Gundren?"
"We should walk in with all our confidence showing and demand they answer our questions. Tell them, their fate will be the same as the others if they refuse." Rin looks at Ordrin, "Perhaps, as we approach them, your Moradin could pound his hammer as he did before?"
"Agreed. You should take the lead, Rin, since you speak their language. I'm ready when you are, and will stay close and have your back in case things go south."
OoC: Just some lingering bookkeeping: Rin can certainly carry the statuette if he wants it. I'll remove it from Anton's inventory once you post that you're adding it. Anton took one of the healing potions, but there was another one up for grabs. Did somebody take it? I'll add it to Anton's for now just so it doesn't get lost, but again, somebody claim it and I'll remove it.
The coals are still piping hot. The fire was active very very recently

"Aye," Ordrin says to Rin. "If we don't find Gundren soon he may be someone's dinner!"
"I'll lead the way," he says, stomping back toward the previous room. He pauses to look back at the group. "Well! Come on!"
OoC: If the group doesn't follow, Ordrin will notice at some point (?).

OoC: Let's clear out that last black spot and then start checking for hidden things if we don't find gundrin.
Rin swivels his ears towards the sound of the goblin voices to hear what they are saying. He will translate to the rest of the group.
OoC: Agreed

OoC: Hah, goblins speak in broken sentences even in their own language, apparently.

OoC: They are still fairly dumb :) I also kind of figured their language probably doesn't have a direct translation and would be more abrupt/direct

"Agreed, laddies," Ordrin says, preparing himself.
OoC: If I'm AWOL today Ordrin will go along with the plan and can cast Thaumaturgy as a cantrip up to 3 times in a row.
