Everyone hears first the rumble of heavy paws as a carriage drawn by large bears comes down the road. These bears are finely dressed, dressed even better than you lot, and magebred. Magebred creatures are always more docile than their wild counterparts.
To your chagrin, the commotion stops at the front of your targeted warehouse. Vasha manages to slink away enough to escape notice, but manages to steal a glance at the man departing from the carriage.
This man is dressed to the nines and seems worthy of living up here in the Skywalk. He wears regale greens with brown pressed pants, but what defines him most is what Vasha spies lingering on the man's skin. His bald head betrays a large intricate dragonmark that shows him to be a powerful member of House Cannith. Vasha isn't quite sure who he is, but she gets a good, long look at him. She witnesses as he tips the driver several gallifars before sending the carriage off.
Only Vasha hears the following conversation:
"My lord!" One of the guards calls practically bows.
"I trust the merchandise is within?" The Cannith man asks curtly.
"Yes, but we are on high alert, sir. Someone followed."
"Idiots." The Cannith man shakes his head. "We will be ready to depart soon. Guard this door with your life or you will find yourself on the wrongside of the Mourning."
The man disappears into the warehouse.

Kinnik waggles his feathery eyebrows. "Elementary, my dear shapeshifter. We retry our original plan to infiltrate the professor's home. The difference being THIS time I can take on the appearance of their Dragonmarked boss with MAGIC."
He looks at the others. "Or, plan B, Vasha just lights the warehouse on fire. Honestly, I'm starting to lose my patience with these jags. Thoughts? Constructive criticism?"
“Heard on that. I like plan B.” Copper says with a wicked grin as his axe once again appears in his hand. “Or a combo. Two identical lords running around in a helter skelter melee could prove the perfect distraction while someone get the goods.”
"Posh-lookin' codpiece that stunk his way in by shovin' his pecker in just in front of his coinpurse. Had one of those nasty dragon-thingies painted on his head too." The vitriole in Vasha's voice does little to disguise her opinion of the class. "I'm all for plan B, and I'm sure using his appearance as cover would make for a bit of fun too. Less of a story to make up too. Just say we're bodyguards."

"Dam, so we have a dragon marked "lord" in the warehouse now?"
"He's probably from House Cannith then, who else would be interested in the schema."
Olenlooks at the others,
"As for burning down the warehouse, my guess is, that the enchantment you detected Copper, is there to stop just that from happening."
"And even if we where able to start the place burning, we would have just kicked the hornets nest. I'm not one for getting stung if I don't have too."
Olenthinks for a moment,
"Now trying to go in as a second "lord" has its own issues."
"First we have the problem, that if they are expecting just one "lord" they may just detain us immediately, to try and workout who the real "lord" is. That doesn't work out well for us."
"If they are expecting more "lord's", do they know what faces to expect? If we just disguise as some generic House Cannith representative, we may just get stopped at the door and and then have the hornet situation on our hands."
Olenlooks at his friends,
"Look, if you want to go down the kick the nest route, I will go along, but my gut tells me that way lies in death or worse."
"Also, we have a friend about to make the jump to the warehouse roof, so if we decided to try burning the place down, we may want to warn him somehow."
"Also, we have a friend about to make the jump to the warehouse roof, so if we decided to try burning the place down, we may want to warn him somehow."
"Oh, right. Cap..." Kinnik scratches Zeph absentmidedly, then looks pointedly at Copper and Vasha. "We need to get the people who can do the smashing and grabbing in there safely. And we need you, Shroud, in there to call the shots inside. That leaves it to me to make a big, stupid distraction out here. I'll thin the ranks at the gate and give the rest of you a better chance at slipping through. I'll do my best not to get captured, but if I do, I have some tricks up my sleeve..." Zeph shoots up Kinnik's sleeve and the kenku smiles. "How's that for a plan?"
Olenthinks for a bit, trying to tie the part together in his mind.
"Ok, Plan Version 2.0"
"I am assuming the carriage with the bears, that was leaving when I got back, was the one that dropped off the "lordling". If so, he is either settling in, or they could be planning to leave the same way they arrived."
"So, the modified plan goes like this: Kinnik, using whatever means you like, magic, disguise, etc; you causes a distraction and attempts to lure away the guard at the front door of the warehouse."
"Try to bring them around to one of the spaces back here, we will wait in ambush, and try to take them out, together, out of hearing of the warehouse."
"Once we have them taken care of, I will need you and Copper to head around to where we left the Skyraftand Soarsleds."
"We may need our own in the air if things go bad at out end. Just remember to stay out of sight, they do have large defensive weapons on the outside of the warehouse."
Olenturns looks to Vasha,
"We will continue as before, and try and see if we can infiltrate the warehouse and locate the schema."
Kinnik flashes a thumbs up. Then a ripple passes through him as he casts disguise self! Suddenly, he has the appearance of an impossibly beautiful half-elven woman. Dress slightly torn, hair askew, she looks as though she has survived a terrible ordeal, if only just. She still has Kinnik's sapphire blue eyes, and she winks one of them before dashing into the shadows around the corner. "Better hurry, darlings," the others hear as she speeds away. "No idea how many will come to help me..."
Vasha gives a mischievious grin, "Guess it can't be helped Little Boss. As much as I'd love to just blow the door down and take what we want, it's not practical."

Lorenz gives another short, sharp bow and his thanks,
"Thank you kindly for your time and access, I must be getting on with other works, so I will leave you to your activities."
Lorenz bows again, and turns and strides away.
Once out of view, Lorenz's transforms, first his cloths and then his skin, back to his more comfortable Olen person.
Olen heads back to the rest of the group, waiting near the warehouse.
