Dani- it's definitely a temple to an old god, although you don't recognise it. Most of it's engravings and carvings have been deteriated over time. It looks like it had some strong pillars holding up it's roof on which is only a quarter of a circle with part of an insignia left inside of it. It looks like a number of stars is all that is left of it.
Yasei and Rosli- unfortunately the girl runs in without looking back, leaving the door to the building ajar. Shame, missing out on such an entertaining performance ^_^
After her short attempt to impress and lure Rosli will drop back to her feet, thank Dani for holding her back, take it back and walk inside "Hello! Anyone in here? My names Rosli and we're friendly... minus Cora."
if there are multiple people inside can Rosli look for any Dwarves?
The temple is rid of seats and is a large, open stone floor .An altar is situated up the front, with a more in tact sigil of this old god. It shows an eye, surrounded by stars, but is covered in cobweb and dust.
A small congregation of people look at you, huddled together. They look desperate, yet some look hopeful, but overwhelmingly, surprised as if this is the first contact they've had with other people before. They are predominantly human, a few children seem to be a mix of human and orc.
A voice speaks up, ignoring your bizarre requests- a gruff, deep voice says "State your business." An elderly Dwarf steps forward, slowly approaching you. The 'pok, Pok, pok' of a wooden staff on shale echoes around the temple. He is clad in rags which used to be robes, slightly balding on top and his Brown beard and long hair have substantial streaks of grey.
She couldn't care less about the people. But the sigil. The eye, surrounded by stars. It looked familiar, and not in a good way.
Crispy's eyes go from the sigil to the dwarf. As if interrupted from her curiosity, she speaks. "No. First, who the hell are you?" is her reply. "What is this place?"
With an enormous grin Rosli will wave at the dwarf and offer a small curtsy "I'm Rosli, disciple of Warobi-sensi."giving a few seconds to see if the Dwarf reacts to the name "We were just at the spider hole and something attacked one of our friends in our sleep and then we ended up here."
The Dwarf stands there and considers you for a moment. "And here I thought the days of adventures and Heroes was over..." He says, unable to hold back a grin.
His eyes widen slightly when he sees Rosli, and he has a definate reaction of interest when Rosli mentions Warobi..
His demeanor quickly shifts, and he turns and says to the people... "This... This may be our chance to return home!" The people murmer in excitement as he turns and faces you. "Come. Come with me so we may be aquinted."
If you follow him, he leads you to the back of the hall and into a small study. He sits at a desk with an extremely old, torn banner draping over it.
Cora (only) recognises the sigil- a gauntlet hand holding a sword. This is the insignia of the 'order of the gauntlet' from Water deep. A lawful good faction of clerics and Palladins who devoted their lives to fighting evil in all of its forms. As a detective in Waterdeep, you often dealt with them to adjudicate the major criminals you brought in.
"Me title be Torgus Lightbringer jr. Me father hailed from another time, another world, when the ground yeh standin' on meant somethin' to somebody.. Me father said he was born during the calamity, an' was the soul survivor of his order. I am his son an' been practicing his ways of the cloth every one of my 364 years on this earth. He told me tales of adventurers and Heroes, tales which his father told him. I believe it fate, that you arrive here today."
Rosli will follow listening intently but will ask a barrage of questions when he pauses "Waterdeep? Destiny? Return home? What do you mean and where did you come from? Why are all of you people here? Do you know Warobi?"
"He didn't say Waterdeep, you.." Crispy says to Rosli, annoyed, barely holding back a string of insults. She turns to Lightbringer Jr. when he's done talking. "This symbol. The Order of the Gauntlet. I know this symbol. I know where it's from. I come from that place. But, what is this place, and how are you here?"
He looks very surprised at your responses, and his curiosity peaked.
"Warobi, the travelling monk passed through our village just before we fled it. We could have used his help- his intoxicated wisdom.. he stopped by and rid out some Orcish Boarderland raiders who were hastelling us. He told us stories of a cat person- 'tabaxi' orphan who he trained.. he always told us we were not good enough- not strong enough for a rival.. something like that. He remembers you, and he's looking to find something- or someone for you. He left months ago."
He turns to Cora. "I ugh, don't think that's even possible dear. Waterdeep is a land of myth, of story. My father's father told him of it before the calamity happened. All I know is that it was a great city of which my ancestors were part of this alliance. I have tried my best to uphold the traditions of this sigil, even if my ties to it are weak..."
He looks at Yasei and Dani. You said you had injured ones? Perhaps I could help... In exchange for a favour? You are... Adventurers, are you not? You look more brave than I..." He hangs his head shamefully.
Yasei will unwrap Watatsumi from her cloak, and still cuddling him in her arms, show his wounds to Torgus. "The same evil which has wounded Danica-san has also afflicted my beautiful tatsu, Watatsumi. In exchange for whatever task you require, can you heal Watatsumi?"

You walk in through a door half off its hinges.

"We are indeed. And I would happily help in whatever problem you face in exchange for healing, especially if you have some knowledge of this injury."
Am I so old that Waterdeep is now considered..a fairytale?
Has it been that long?
How. How am I even still alive.
"Do you know anything about this planet we're on." she asks. "It's name, perhaps? I don't believe I am from this world."
