Finally overcoming her fears, Yasei starts to scream out to her fellow teammates "FIGHT IT!  QUICKLY!  FIGHT BACK!  IT'S MANIPULATING US WITH IT"S FREAKY VISAGE!" and then she'll run forward and attack the beast:

Cora angrily attacks the monstrosity, tired, and having enough of it's shit.

Wow, awesome. I can't hit shit as a player, but I can slaughter a whole team of 9 as a DM.

Actually, 

Both Yasei and Cora dash up towards this humanoid- a flash of rose silver catches the red moon as you both fell your target easily. It's frail body falls to the ground, and something on it's face falls off and skids along the ground. Is that.. a mask?

Blood pools from it's lifeless body on the ground.

You're all now out of combat.

21 Perception

Any more moaning?

As terror lifts from Rosli's face and she wipes the blood from her nose "Maybe we should ambush it or something next time."

"What the ****." Crispy says, her anger slowly fading. "That was too easy."

I pick up the mask with a short sword, examining it.

The source of the moaning has stopped. All is silent. Very silent. It is a wooden mask, tribal in design. Cora feels like she's seen something like this before. On an island somewhere. Something similar in a distant memory.
It is wooden with old, cracked ocha painted on it. It bears a striking resemblance to the terrifying thing you just encountered. A cold shiver runs up your spine.

Danica nodded. "I agree with Cora, this was too easy. Let us be vigilant."

"What the hell..." Crispy whispered. It seemed..familiar..

Can Rosli take a look at the body? Does it slightly resemble anyone we saw at the make shift village?

16 Perception (not sure if this is the correct roll)

The body is that of a teenage half orc boy. You  remember Torgus saying that the Monster took a boy from one of the townsfolk 

Can I quickly try and jam my healing potion down his gullet? She will immediately try and hold him down if he begins to stir. 

You roll him over, but it's clear that healing potions won't do anything for this kid. He's gooooooooooooooone. Lascerations are deep through his neck and torso from Cora and Yasei's tandem attack.

A shiver runs down Yasei's spine, perhaps a reaction to the frightening experience they all just suffered through.  "We should burn the body.  Something like that is bound to come back." she mumbles in a muted tone.  Is she still scared?  Wait, is her normally placid demeanor showing some cracks?

I'd say so yeah. Especially considering the individual you've killed seems to be a normal looking teenager. This situation doesn't sit right with Yasei and she probably feels a bit sick about it all. The Mask is giving off a strange aura- similar to the Spider Sting Dagger Cora has obtained.

Otherwise, this seems to have been the mission you were sent on!

A familiar voice makes each of you jump slightly. A serious, gutteral tone. Orcish. You turn to see Ryu walking calmly towards you, wiping his blade of blood.

"You've been followed." he says. Ryu approaches you all and shakes his head slightly in shame at the teenager's body on the ground. You can see a number of shogin bodies on the ground behind him in which he was referring to, still clad in black, blood slowly seeping from their severed limbs.
"I never got a chance to properly debrief with you after the bandit hideout." he says. "First of all- I thankyou for saving my mind from that foul creature. Secondly- it is evident that we need to stop this Aerik person."

He pauses for a moment, to ensure you are all listening. "During my time in their posession, I am able to recall a few things about their plan- small things. I've been able to piece my fragile memories together through meditation after the incident. It would seem that Aerik has a list of ten artifacts from the old world which he seeks to collect and somehow 'absorb' their abilities."

He looks around the village. Silence. He then looks at the mask. Then, he points at the assassins. "They have come after you. They can follow you. It is my belief that these assassins- they go by the name of "All Seeing Stars" are following you- watching you locate these items and attempting to steal them from you once you have them in your posession. They work under Aerik and his foul creature. I have no idea what he plans to do or how he intends on absorbing these artifacts' powers- but it can't be good. Did you find any kind of list or any trace of where he may be going next at the hideout?"
