(I'd say we all OOC vote..... I'm all for luring them into a bottleneck and frying the **** out of them with twin lightning bolts, but that will require cover, and they're too spread out right now for me to hit more than like 7 of them at once. A lot of my spells are AoE, so I'm good for dealing large groups of enemies damage. )
Azrael considers for a moment, as he re-equips his gear, giving him access to his full arsenal once more.
I have an Idea.... Let me lure them to me, as you all sneak around them... I'll ready my Lightning Bolt once they're in a good enough line to hit most or all of them.. you can all get to the gold, and I will fight them myself. While they're distracted.. you can all make a getaway with the gold, and be relatively unscathed.
So get started on sneaking around... if it seems they're about to notice you, I will call out to them and attract their attention to me.
Lythril agrees with this plan of action. She will accompany Azrael guarding his front, and side, and lovely lovely ass. When he is ready she will cast silent image to get some attention, in the form of twining spectral dragons flowing through the entire congregation.
"You think Lord Cassalanter will just let all of us run in there and let me cast my teleport spell?" Zeli asked warily. "And who says you'd survive a wave of 40 cultists? You would most likely die. And what if they all don't follow you?"
"Zeli has a point." Leon interjects in the conversation. "There is a chance they all won't follow you, and I'm sure Lord Cassalanter isn't going to fall for it, perhaps we can stop his ritual, but that doesn't mean he will follow behind, then you would have to deal with the remaining few AND him."
The monk lulls over the plan a moment. "Listen, I don't think any of us agree with leaving you behind by yourself. We're a team and we stay as such. We can lure as many out as possible, and together we fend off the stragglers."

With a heavy sigh, Azrael says ...........................................................Fine.
But my original plan still takes effect. We must lure as many of them to us as we can, with me being the first to attack from behind cover... Use that spell Lythril.. to draw them to us, I will wait here.... he says pointing to the
area in the corner, where it would force them to go somewhat in a line, and he could hit as many as possible by angling his spell towards the top-right most 'pillar' in the main room.
The rest of you stay hidden until they draw close... I can recharge my lightning bolt.. once... and we may only have to deal with their leader(s)...
everyone agree with this plan?
(Crispy what sort of roll will you or we have to determine how many cultists 'fall for it' ?)
"We might have a lil' extra backup too." FC says. "I'll pay ya double if you can help us pul this off. Escaping for you would be a walk in the part, innit?"
Crispy: If "The Help" agrees, then they duck around the side and out of view, in a split second, their clothes meld into cultist uniforms and suddenly the two FC Dopplegangers are in Cultist robes, looking like bland, normal human cultists. Their robes have a specific red trim, in order for us to tell them apart.
Im best one on one, maybe one on two. Get me alone with a couple and ill make easy work of them. aside from that ill go with your plans Pheral agrees with the plan so far and states her preferred and most useful fighting style while gearing up and feeling comfortable now that her scar is covered again.
Yes. Oops. Lyth, cast your spell and create a diversion. Roll a performance roll with your spell for me to judge bombined effects. Then i'll describe what happens.
Astrid, feeling rather useless in the upcoming combat, has an idea. She doffs her backpack, and pulls out a huge bag full of ball bearings. She unties the top, and gets ready to throw/spill the entire contents out into the common area, tripping up the cultists (knocking tons of them prone). She stands by, at the ready, for Azrael to make his move.

If everyone agree'd, Azrael would "Ready" his Lightning Bolt to cast once the most of them were in a line that he felt would happen.

Azrael, that would require a performance roll the better you do, the more cultists come. The worse you do, well, lets hope that doesn't happen.
Once I have that roll and your RP i'll describe what happens.
(Welp, since it's Lythril that's using the dragon spell illusion, would it be her roll or mine?)

As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
Whoa, you god damn pinball machine, how does that woik.
Zeli looks down at you and gasps. "Are those your eggs??" she asks, shocked. "How could you throw those away?!"
Astrid: "Yes, these are my precious little steel dragon eggs, ready to be born into this world!" she says, winking to Zeli.

Zeli smiles and snorts in disbelief. "Beavers cannot lay dragon eggs!"

I would be really really scared of a beaver if it could eat a dragon egg...
