Lif starts to panic, waving his hands around after hearing the explosion, trying to get everyone's attention. At Lythril's command, he runs to wake everyone up.
The fire is becoming a raging inferno, and is starting to eat away at the other buildings..
..towards Trollskull manor.
LYTHRIL: You recognize the cause of the fire, it's a very high powered Fireball spell. You've never seen one with such elemental ferocity. Even from where you're standing, you can feel the heat on your skin, and people are running in a horror in every direction. People are burnt and there are pieces of bodies everywhere, women and children screaming..
If it weren't the loud boom that woke him up, it would have been Lythril's yelling, Leon sitting up in such a freight it took him a moment to come back from reality. He could smell smoke as he pushed himself up off the floor, hurriedly putting on his combat robe before running downstairs to see what caused the explosion.
(Arcana: 20)
Green hues widened in fear, darting to the multiple people who were running away in panic, some on fire, unconscious or dead bodies scattered throughout the ground before him. He made a quick glace at Phreal, noticing how she wasn't moving, he rushed to her side for a moment, grabbing both of her shoulders with his hands and shook her a bit before he spoke, hoping his words could help her move and break out of her trance.
"Hey, hey! I-I don't know what's wrong but you can't stand here and do nothing; people need you! Don't get near the flames--" He turned his head back just in time to see Lythril run inside the burning building. Shit."Just-- Just help these people out here, okay?!"
With a final shake, he pulled away and rushed in the burning building without a second thought, hoping to help Lythril find some survivors as well.

Azrael was startled, as he'd been in meditation downstairs when a sudden earthshaking boom occurred. Arc: 3
Azrael was only pretty sure that the explosion had come from some sort of spell, with explosive force. He was already in his robes (which he DOES wash by the way!) and ran upstairs, not needing Lif to inform him. And once out of the cellar, he'd run around the bar, and to the front door, which was already open, and several of his 'party members' were already outside dealing with various issues. Azrael was no healer, he couldn't tend to wounds or anything like that. He ran past Leon and Pheral. Not ignoring them for lack of concern, but his mind was on a higher priority.
Yes, the injured were important, so was the damage. But there was something even more important.. Bahamut always routed evil at it's source.
Azrael took in the situation, looking around everywhere, at every corner and shadow, past every flame as he stood there, eyes scanning to see if he could find who caused it, or, where it originated from.
Perception to check for things others might not notice: 12
Danitriel tumbled out of bed and paused only long enough to throw on a shirt. Bursting out of the front door she emerged into a scene of chaos. "By the Seldarine!" She hissed as she saw people running too and fro through the flames. Seeing the other members of her party out she moved to assist them in getting people safe and clear.
FC drops his cutlery on the table mid breakfast and darts outside.
”Whot the fu—“ he mutters under his breath. Arcana: 11 invest: 19
He begins running towards the fire, having resistence to it helped in order to drag casualties out the best he can. He casts thaumaturgy the best he can to dim and lower the smaller flames, mainly on people’s clothing as he carries them out.
Whatever Azrael did or did not find out, he realized there was no point wasting anymore time on it, and joined the rescue effort. Azrael would begin assisting wherever there looked to be people still save-able, ignoring those already dead for the sake of the few living. Carrying as many as he could at once, out of the danger zone, and sitting them against nearby walls, if they could not walk. (Athletics: 9)
While he wasn't the most proficient, and he did stumble here and there, overall he managed to get a few people out.
He called out to his party, shouting Quickly, look around, I was unable to see much, but look for the source of this. If we can find that out, we can apply pressure.

Astrid was taking a nap up in the belfry, and fell out of her hammock when the explosion rocked the house. Quickly scrambling to her feet, and shaking her head to quickly wake up, she moved one of her curtains aside and peered out into the city to see what was going on (Investigation: 13).
She soon saw the fire at its source, and all their neighbors scrambling away is streams, screaming (some on fire, some dismembered) for their lives. The horror!
Honing in on the explosion and immediate surrounding area, she noticed (fill in the blank, CrispyDM)....
She also noticed the fire starting to spread....ever so closer to their house! She must notify the local fire brigade. Scrambling to gather up all her equipment, she quickly dresses and runs downstairs and out the front door as quickly as she can, making her way towards the fire brigade to get help.
Pheral clutches her right side as if it were in pain. Locked in her nightmare she slumps to the ground and tears start to roll down her face. Suddenly, a voice calls to her, its muffled and distant but familiar. What did it say? It needs her hell? But the fire, it's just like back then.

LYTHRIL: Fearless, you are able to save many lives, either pulling or leading commoners away from the disaster and healing them. Dashing into the burning building, you realize only a very high powered firefall spell could pull off this destruction, you figured that out outside easily. But inside, the flames and smoke are intense and parts of the building are starting to fall apart. As you look around for anything, it's hard to see, and nothing pops out to you as far as clues go - a loud, straining creaking sound could be heard - suddenly Leon grabs you and pulls you away just as an enormous piece of lumber comes crashing down in front of both of you. It all happened so fast. Judging by the size of the lumber, that would have instantly killed you if Leon didn't pull you away. You take a moment to calm down and catch your breath.
PHERAL: You are crippled by a terrible flashback from your past. You're back in your village, trapped in that same building. You want to scream. Maybe you did? No one heard you. There's no way out. The heat becomes too much to bear, and the flames lap at you, come closer, eating away the structure but keeping you trapped inside. It's like it's alive. Like a panicked animal you scurry, trying to escape, but it's too hot, no exits. The smoke becomes choking - and as you huddle and cover your body, hoping someone hears your screams, you can feel the fire on your arm, eating away at your flesh - as if the fire was done playing around. You would remember that moment for the rest of your life. Today was a reminder you can never escape.
LEON: A fireball detonation? Very potent. Not from a spell. But..caused by something else? A magic item? YES! Of course! You're sure of it. It wasn't a spell. A magic item caused this! The look of terror on Pheral's face, you rush over and say words to her, but she's locked in a state of fear. Of silent panic. Wait. What's Lythril doing? You run in after her. It's hot, the smoke stings your eyes. THERE! There's a body! Over there! WAIT. You hear a loud creak - up there! The support beam! It's cracking under the fire's rampant destruction. It's going to- You run over to Lythril, grab her, the support beam comes crashing down. Missing both of you by mere feet. The impact wave sends you both sprawling back, near the outside. Your attention turns to the body again. Where was- Ah! There it is! You have to hurry, the flames are destroying the nearby buildings, and you need to get out. There is nothing but destruction inside.
AZRAEL: By Bahamut's Grace, that was loud. It sounded like a fireball spell detonating at high level. You run outside. It's complete pandemonium. Too many people, so much screaming. You're having a hard time noticing details around such chaos. You can see Lythril and Leon covered in ash, helping one another inside the burning building, Leon may have found something but they're trying to communicate over the roaring of the flames. The fire is spreading and if they remain the whole building will come down on them. You barely managed to save a few people from death as you tried to get as many details as you could.
DANI: You know the sound and effect of a high powered fireball when you see one, and today was no different. Commoners are screaming and fleeing like mice, terrified and crying. There are dead bodies everywhere - even Pheral is stunned, crying, looking at the building unmoving. You spend your time and energy helping as much people as you can. People recognizing you as adventurers, they're pulling you in so many directions, the chaos of the situation making it hard to make decisions making it hard to sort out any details with so much screaming and people running around. Where is the fire brigade?!
FC: The silverware still clattering as you bolt outside, you see the roaring inferno. You noticed something immediately as you scan the destruction. Lythril and Leon are inside! Commoners immediately overwhelm you, begging for help. Your fire resistance and spells coming in handy as you're able to easily heft up hurt citizens and carry them to safety. The building does not look stable, you can hear the structure groaning in pain as the fire eats it away and hungers on to the next building. If something isn't done soon, the Manor will shortly catch ablaze.
ASTRID: Your nap of pink elephants, pink cake, pink rainbows, pink teddy bears, pink trees, and pink adventurers in the land of Pink was rudely interrupted by an explosion that rattle the belfry and you out of your hammock. You can see from your position Lythril and Leon inside the burning building. They found something! But the fire! OMIGOSH! I gotta SKEDADDLE! You immediately think of a joke and scream it out at the top of your lungs: WHY DO DUCKS HAVE WEBBED FEET?! TO STAMP OUT FIRES! WHY DO ELEPHANTS HAVE FLAT FEET?! TO STAMP OUT BURNING DUCKS! Realizing no one heard you, and that it wasn't the time for jokes, you shake your head violently to clear your head and run past the burning building to get the fire brigade.

Adrenaline pumped through his veins, still holding Lythril tight from saving her from deaths grasp. His eyes were wild, scanning back to the body that he needed to get to. He wasn’t thinking when he let her go, yelling at her to leave and tell the others that it wasn’t just a spell, it was an item and he was going to retrieve it. Oh great Bahamut, guide my actions, and help me save this poor foolish soul.
With religious fervor, he enters the building, and seeks Leon out, knowing there couldn't be many places for him to go here.
Azrael will try to save Leon, and the body he was dragging if it was nearby.
FC sees them in there. He goes in to help Azrel retrieve Lythril and Leon. Their carpentry work together has resulted in some good team work. He'll also grant him an extra 1d6 inspiration to use on an ability check he really needs.
Yes! GG! You manage to find Leon and Lythril trying to get out of the house, it looked like Leon's life was on alert as he had fallen and couldn't get up. Lythril is well enough to move on her own, and you both help Leon back outside with what he found. Whew! That was close! Down the street, you can hear Astrid yelling "WeEoOo WeEooO WeEeoOo!" as the Fire Brigade arrive and start putting out the fire the best they can. The Fire Brigade mages arrive as well and start casting water spells to assist to quell the flames.
I'll let you guys catch up, post, and then the authorities arrive.

Azrael coughed a little, His origins were based in lightning, not fire, so he was still effected by mundane things like smoke. After several moments, he eventually recovered. Still breathing a bit heavily but otherwise O.K.
Azrael would get them to their side of the street, and set them up on the porch-stairs, with Lythirls and FC's help. Though Azrael kept an unsure gaze on FC, who seemed to be acting out of expected character. He couldn't figure out FC yet.
If possible, Azrael would search the body of the other person, having heard Leon's yell that it was an item (Investigation if needed: 4) and if he found the item, he would pocket it, for now. Perhaps it could provide clues as to who was behindit, like a symbol of a gang, or some-such. or perhaps it could be a useful weapon....
Regardless, he would tell whoever happened to be around him, *cough* Oh.. Well, I have several guesses as to how this happened. *huff puff* Either one: One of the two gangs in the neighborhood didn't like what we've been up to, or it was a retaliatory, or warning strike of some sort. Or... if this....
(IF Azrael found the item) trinket was the cause, then it was an unfortunate accident, most likely.
(If he did not find it) Perhaps this fool was up to some experiment gone awry....
Regardless, he would avoid the flames himself, he had no way of putting them out personally as he had not prepared a Control Flames for this day, not havign expected this, and getting near the flames otherwise would likely catch his robe on fire. He would however do whatever he needed to to keep the flames away from thier new home, by throwing dirt from the yard over it if it came near.
Anyone watching FC closely while he was in the flames, sees him stand there for a moment, and let out a comfortable sigh. Almost as if he... felt at home in this inferno.
He picks up on Azraels gaze and mutters "Can't 'ave my workmates burnt to a crisp now can I? Perhaps my... heroic, you could say, deeds look favourable in your dieties eyes aye?" He winks, fires up a much more expensive looking cigar than normal and saunters back to Trollskull manor before the popo arrive.

Occassional Dungeon Master.
