Azrael was already intending to request Nim as the reward, for various reasons, so he just shrugs. Well now that this is settled, I believe you needed some help Leon, and I think another with the Gauntlets Request? Let us do that first thing in the morning. It's quite late... and we've all had a busy day.
((Just out of honest curiosity, were our other choices those things like the turtle bot that were mentioned before? if so Nim is 100% better :P b)BUUUT someone is goign to have to learn how to understand what he says, which means someones gotta learn Home-brew sign-language)
------------------
Regardless of what everyone else did, Azrael headed home. He'd had a very busy day, he was tired... and he didn't want it to spread into exhaustion. When he made it back, he and his fellow acolytes prayed around the shrine to Bahamut.. it felt nice to do this once again with an actual effigy of his deity.
Religious Intensity: 15
Oh great Bahamut, your bounty knows no ends. You provide us all with what we need, and guide our hand silently towards the path we need to take. Help me continue to serve you as an avatar of your wrath, in smiting evil, and dark criminality where it stands, wherever it may be found.
After that, Azrael went to sleep, laying on his bed, too tired to continue.
The next morning brings much relief to all of you. Well rested, and thanks to Lif, well fed, and now thanks to Nim - he begins fixing and renovating the manor to your specifications. He begins teach Pheral (or anyone else) his language, and you are able to catch on quickly. Greatful for the chance to make a difference, he never complains and always complies. Lif is excited to have someone else who is different like him around, and FC's red-headed guest stays quiet and out of the way.
YOU ARE ALL NOW LEVEL 4.
Nim's note from the Cassalanters is huge. You have the location of where he put the Stone Of Galorr. Nim draws out a map of the Mausoleum, and tells you where it is. Naturally, finding the Stone is of great importance, so you set out in the afternoon to find it after settling in after a very long night of adjustments.
You travel to the City of the Dead in Waterdeep - a huge collection of tombs and mausoleums in the city - which is open to the public from dawn until dusk. One well-maintained mausoleum has the name CASSALANTER engraved above its entrance. You are all standing in front of M1.
As usual, the double doors of the entrance are locked. There are only a few people around, most of them occupied with paying their respects. Most likely, you could do activities discretely and go unnoticed.
FC can stand in front of the doors and casts minor illusion to make the doors look like normal while one of our handy rogues has a go at picking the lock?
Azrael eventually awoke. He had slept in much later than he had intended to, which was odd for him, as he was quite dutiful. So he quickly got up, and dressed, Praying once again to Bahamut, as was his ritual. Religious intensity: 18
Oh great Bahamut, your servant thanks you for your bounty. I can feel power welling up inside me. I attribute this to you, and my faithful servitude towards your goals. I have had to make a few... acceptances. But aside from this, you know I seek to further your will, by any means necessary. Let our foes crumble before us in the same terror they seek to wield against the weak, and help me let them understand true fear, before ending their lives.
After which, he would come up for breakfast, ordering a very large plate of eggs, and red-sauce. Devouring them heartily, and easily. He helped Nim with whatever he could giving Nim Advantage on his repairs, telling Nim he would learn Nim's language soon enough, but that now was not the time. offering Nim a pat on the back and a big, Dragon Hug.
------------
Azrael uses his large frame to hide what Pheral was doing from wherever the most people were, he pretended to be praying.. or perhaps he actually was praying.
Click! The lock is easily picked thanks to Pheral's phancy phingers. You are now inside Area M1.
As you enter and close the door behind you, there are obvious human footprints on the floor. There are three bodies on the floor here as well, stabbed and burned by spells. Two male, and one female.
Azrael would kneel down and inspect the bodies both to see if he could find out what happened aside from the obvious, and to see if the corpses carried anything of interest.

Azrael would let someone else deal with the living female, as he would probably scare her to death if he approached.
Despite them making it through the gate undetected the thought of being caught trespassing terrified Leon for a split second until he saw the bodies, his eyes widening in shock. Once green hues locked into the female who he could see breathing, he sprinted towards her and got on his knees beside her.
”Ma’am?” He calls as gently as possible to her. He looks over her and her wounds, making note of what she was wearing, where any stab wounds were. He wasn’t too trained in medicine and he couldn’t exactly heal her, having to call one of his teammates to attempt to help the poor woman. In the meantime, he uses whatever knowledge he has on medicine to try and assuage the woman’s pain.

Yikes. Astrid would give Leon a very worried look, as he began trying to perform a physical on one of the bookcases in the crypt. Once you realized what you're doing, Astrid turns you towards the woman. She has 0 HP, unconscious but breathing - is wearing black robes, and has a very bad stab wound in the back. The other two robed figures are very dead.
When Dani saw the woman was still breathing she put a hand on the woman's forehead and sang softly. A warm golden glow appeared around Danitriel's hand and flowed into the woman like syrup.
Danitriel casts Cure Wounds for 8 points of healing.
The woman startles awake. She looks at one of the dead men and becomes overwhelmed with sadness. Realizing as well, that she doesn't know you all and is clearly outnumbered, submits while crying.
Azrael sighs, and stops inspecting the corpses, instead coming over to the woman as she cries, saying Do not worry. We are not her to harm you as far as we know he thinks to himself. Persuasion if needed: 4
If they were good souls, Bahamut will guide them unto their final peace. But, what happened here?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Astrid: "Sweet jesus, leave the investigatin' to the pros!" as she shoves the rookies aside, inspecting the room by herself: (Investigation 24).
Astrid stands there, between the legs of Leon, inspecting the crypt, hand on her chin and eyes scrunched up. "Ah ha!" she proudly exclaims, "Elementary, my dear Leon. Footprints."
The woman calms down. The survivor is named Vaelle Lurval, a 30 year old Waterdavian florist. She is a member of the cult of Asmodeus. She was brought into the cult by her boyfriend, Holiver Tornrudder, who lies dead nearby. The other dead cultist is named Kaeth Warloon. She reveals that the cult fanatics, Arn Xalrondar and Seffia Naelryke, took the Stone of Galorr and betrayed them, stabbing them and blowing them to bits with Inflict Wounds spells. She says that Arn and Seffia would likely have taken the stone to an old windmill in the Southern Ward, where they hold their own ceremonies worshiping Asmodeus.
Thankful for the heal, Vaelle offers to provide directions for the sake of avenging her murdered lover. She never really liked the cult anyways.
The rest of the mausoleum is empty.
This is the first of 8 small encounters that will lead you to a climatic final chapter of the adventure. I'll adapt the header to represent this.
