Ok. This next part is up to you. After this shipwreck scene … Manny’s family … caught out in the storm with no lighthouse? Or safe at home?
I feel that tragedy is a better drama/storyline then they all survived, so I assume 3 boats, 2 collide in the dark, other boat survives, and father/uncle/1-3 siblings all drown. 2 boats go under. Crippling but not completely devastating.
When I checked the inventory again, it looks like it's all things that could endure the test of time, especially if they were renewed as part of Harknail. Specifically, there weren't any multi thousand year old rations to try to feed to someone...
We're coming up to our very first encounter, gang.
The in-thread dice roller on DDB has always been a bit wonky for my tastes. The mouseovers are rarely correct and it makes it difficult for me to tell if the correct dice were rolled, the correct modifiers applied, etc. And then there's the issue of accidentally modifying a roll after you made it ... and getting the dreaded "This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results."
For this tale, as much as is possible, I would like to use the campaign roller attached to your sheets.
Also, as much as is possible ... I would like to use the first dice thrown ... even if we later determine that maybe a different skill applies or something. So like, if you rolled Int (arcana) and post your results ... and then later we figure out it should have been Int (nature) ... I will just do the mental math to add in the correct modifier and we move on with the tale.
What I don't want to see ... is each round that someone was deciding what to do ... they rolled six different things, and then picked one.
Can I assume that the shaman is 65 feet away from me? Can I assume I am still on the edge of the sinking ship? Or is the ship hit bottom and has stopped sinking?
If the ship is still slowly sinking can I assume it is stable enough to be a platform to shoot arrows from?

Should I post Harknail climbing on deck?
No. Now that everyone has had a chance to post (albeit just flashbacks), I’ll bump the scene ahead and kick this thing in the pants.
It’s all about to go sideways, and Harknail will be introduced as a part of that upcoming craziness.
