OOC: He accidentally points to Wolf Pup and Perry haha

"Shoulda jus' had 'em kicked in the shins," Perry whispers to wolf pup and babs as he does an extremely fake yawn and huge stretch to make himself cover as much as possible of what's going on behind him.

Wolf Pup flexes imposingly and nods, while whispering, “Yes, I believe that I could have done a better job, and I do not know the customs of this land. Actually, I do not believe that I could have done worse.”

"I could have burped to better effect! Hey Fenny here's a fortune, 'you fail' " She whispers to the orc and man.

Walking towards the guards and Fenchurch.

"Fenny this is a lousy time to work on your bit! We are looking for our missing friend Molly. He and Fenchurch right here are entertainers for Marr'Veil's spectacular show. Fen is a workaholic, always working his routines. We are off to The Mermaid's Tears. ever heard of it. I am new in town and completely lost."

Barbara flashes a smile. She may be unfamiliar with the customs of civilization, but she knows what young men are thinking about and tries to take advantage.

Fenchurch sheepishly looks at his feet.

Fenchurch:

The guards don't even seem to be focusing on you as they continue to search the alley way.

Barbara:

The men look up as you speak. Both are fairly young men. They pause and listen to what you have to say.

"Uh, well, miss you see. We are sort of in the middle of something very important right now." One of the men says before he is pulled back by his friend.

The two men have a brief, hushed argument.

One of the guards shoves his spear into the others hands and walks over to Barbara. He pulls off his helm and tosses it back to his friend.

"Unlike my friend, I will be more then happy to escort you and your little friend there to the tavern ma'am." He grins and smooths his long hair back, before giving a short bow.

He guides the two of you away and toward The Mermaid's Tears.

Okay if Wolf Pup and Perry still want block the way by posing can I have a Performance check?

OOC: One man is leaving with Fen and Barbara. The other stands there grumpily with an extra spear and helmet, upset at having been abandon by his friend.

The time for posing... has arrived! 6! My child... why...

Tangle will wait for Perry’s Performance check, but she’s going anyway. She’s always been the sort to ask forgiveness later, rather than permission first.

Big man yoga 13

"Fenny, I can travel to the tavern myself if you have obligations, especially with such a qualified escort." She gives the guard a look. "Whadya say? Marr'Veill's at sunset? Unless of course you are coming with? Staring at the guard, "First drink is on me!"

Fenchurch thinks that he understands what Barbara is doing, and takes his leave of her and the guard. As she takes away her quarry, Fenchurch reflected upon her failure to get rid of the second guard, and decides that he will not fail a second time. 

"Molly, I know you always said to do what's necessary to make for a good show. I hope this is what you meant." she said to herself. Then she waited for Barbara and the first guard to depart, grabbed some small rock off the ground, situated himself 10 feet from the guard in a way that the guard would have to take his eyes off of Wolf Pup and Perry to watch him, and shouted.

"Hey, Metal Head!"  He shouted, then he threw a rock at the guard's chest  (attack roll, goal to catch attention, not do damage Attack: 14 Damage: 1) and then started running in the other direction 

OOC > We are amusingly bad at this. 😃

OOC> I'm just burning through my terrible rolls so I can roll nonstop hits when the time is right.

Barbara:

The guard leads you off. As you walk he talks about several locations in town and points out a few things as you pass by certain locations.

The group:

With the distracting of everything going on, Tangle manages to slip into the sewers unnoticed.

The guard distracted by the presence of the two strange men who have decided to pose on the side of the road, and is also very grumpy from being abandon from his friend just leaving him, he doesn't even notice the rock as it goes sailing by him.

"Um sirs? Can you please not do whatever it is you are doing here? The area is under investigation right now and I can't have anyone tampering with the scene?" He looks very confused by the past few minutes of interaction and makes the motion of shooing you two away.

Tangle:

With your earlier survival check you manage to easily find a set of small footprints that lead off further into the sewer.

Tangle follows the footprints stealthily, going with the earlier Stealth check, too, if that's okay. Since it was awesome. (It was a 26)

Perry hurries off to wait in a less conspicuous area as soon as he is sure tangle is gone.

Wolf Pup hears the guard, “Oh, yes. I was... just meeting someone!” He looks around, pointing to some random space, “Aaaand there he is! Person! Hello!” He runs off.

Fenchurch makes it a solid 500 feet before he realizes that no one is watching him, and then decides to walk towards the Mermaid's Tears, as that is the only place he knows for certain that someone is going to be, and he figures he can only do harm at the sewer grate.

Barbara walks with the guard to The Mermaid's Tears. At the door she informs the guard that she is here on official duty and will not be able to entertain him. Barb walks into the tavern and takes a look around at the patrons. Upon seeing Olivia she lets her know that the delivery went off without a hitch.
