Tangle glances around. "Are we ready?" She's pretty focused on getting some action, and clearly has not thought this through. Or, it may just not have occurred to her that climbing into the sewer is anything that should attract attention. She's not from 'round here.

"Think you can steal tha' offerin' first? Zephyr can show ya the right one. Might give is a clue."

Perry:

Turning to Fenchurch he adds, "Maybe you should ask the guards and circus members if they saw somethin'."

Tangle shakes her head. “I have never been good at your suntalented tricks and finger dancing. It is not a thing much called for in Faerie. If we want something, we ask. Or take. I can go and take it, if that is appropriate?” She looks questioningly at the group.

Barb is a bit aghast. She is not very used to social interaction and this type of coordination to achieve some sort of task kind of alarmed her. For the most part, she is following along, for some reason unsure to her, although she is not looking not looking forward to the damn sewer.

Wolf Pup is equally confused, but more so at the oddity of it all, rather than the teamwork. Teamwork, this He was used to, pulling up a sewer grate in broad daylight, a little less so. However, he shrugs and volunteers to enter after Tangle.

OOC > I’m waiting, hoping these Wisdom checks will result in someone telling Tangle not to use this very public sewer entrance. She doesn’t feel like there’d be anything wrong with using this one, of course, and is one to be bold, so if there’s a long delay she’s likely to just open the damn thing and drop down into it.

Fenchurch:

Being a part of the circus you know that due to the theft there have been more people taking watch during both the night and day. No one has mentioned seeing the cart that Marr'veil wants to find pass by or go into town, the only other people to ask would be the guards at the gate.

"I wouldn't bother with my colleagues in the circus. A lot of us were taking watch, and if one of them had seen Marr'vell's cart or the people who take it, they would have said something. Anyone friends with any guards?"

Tangle pauses in her preparations for sewer delving. "I have introduced myself to the young one and the old one at the gate," she points in the direction of the one we all came through from the circus.

"Well, fond as I am of sewer much, is there any chance we can get some information from them first?"

"I garnered some attention when I came through. Couldn't point out the guards though."

Arrested mid-prep, loosening a dagger in its sheath, Tangle looks up. "The day gets long. If we are to discover any plans for wrong doing before the celebration this night, we should act. Some of us may be better suited to the spaces below, others to finding secrets in conversation. But I am loathe to sunder our strengths."

"Maybe just a quick look?" she smiles disarmingly.

 Perry shrugs. "Ask the guards 'n'  maybe get a clue. Take a thing from a statue an' most likely get arrested. Or jump into a sewer... Or just leave. Startin' ta sound good."

“We cannot leave. There is a chance that these criminals are related to the Oni. If so, I cannot take a chance in ignoring them.”

So you all have some choices before you.

Ask the guards if they've seen anything.

Go into the sewers. (There are other entrances other then the one the guards are watching right now.)

Investigate the statues and the offering left behind.

Or leave the town as Percy suggested.

You can technically do want ever you want but these are the options I see you discussing.
