"You seem much like the Fey courts, a greater whole held aloft on the unique spirits of many." She does not seem to notice the way Bug eats. "I seek one who is ksh'edhel, or... as you would say, a mirror of one like me." She scowls and her eyes settle on a middle distance. "It is dangerous, and I owe it... you would say justice."
She blinks, and looks up, with a smile. "I also seek vanilla."

"Can I see that map?" Perry asks as they head out of the shop. He would study the map of the city, assuming Wolf Pup allows him to, and he commits each landmark to memory. Perry is very good with maps. After he is done, he will offer to hold the maps in his new map case. If wolf pup refuses, Perry will offer the map case to him instead.

Fenchurch couldn't put his finger on it, but something wasn't normal about Mollywauk's readings. Maybe it was just the seeing him read his own fortune. Maybe it was the strange, seemingly uninterested woman with the flying hair that Molly read to. Whatever it was, Molly would tell Fenchurch if it was important, in time. For now, he waited until his friend was done, and walked over to hand him his lantern.
"One gold lantern for you and Vipna, one copper one for me."
OOC: The lanterns only cost about 3 copper piecea, not too expensive since they're only paper lanterns. (Also Vipna is currently outside the city with the rest of the carnival and Tangle. I know its a little confusing, but I promise I'll mush you all together at some point.)
As the Tiefling reads his cards, the door to The Mermaid's Tears swings open a little too hard. A woman walks in, standing about 5'8" dressed in tight-fitting animal skins and hides, wearing moccasins and carrying a walking stick. She has black dreadlocks, hanging a little below the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her eyes are light blue and her skin is tan, freckled, and pocked with light scars from years of scrapes, scratches, bites and bruises. Even in the tavern, she walks lightly, like a cat, and she avoids direct eye contact but a careful observer will notice her constantly looking around, keeping tabs on everything in the room.
Looking up from her chores, Olivia spots the woman, "Barb! Back so soon? You were hardly gone an hour!" she says with a smile.
"A little too much commotion for me Miss 'Liv-ya." Glancing around the room at the patrons, noticing particularly the Tiefling and Gnome, "Have any chores you need done? Doubt I've paid off my board yet. Just a little antsy".
The woman with the flying hair looked over at Fenchurch. From her clipped speech to her steely gaze, everything about her screamed "do not mess with me." However, she had addressed him, and it is rude not to respond when addressed. With a deep breath and deeper bow, the diminutive gnome introduced himself
"Fenchurch the Farseer, second best diviner in Marr'veil's Marvelous Marvels, the greatest show in Terria. Kindly gnome with a knack for seeing beyond the veil. And who might you be?"
Tangle, by this time a half-orc and human have wandered up to the group around the campfire. The group's attention is drawn to the newcomers with the exception of Bug Crunch who is still choking down pieces of meat.
Perry and Wolf Pup in walking up to the carnival you spot a group of people around a small campfire off to the side of one of the tents. Coming closer reveals a bizarre group of a snake-like halfling, a man made of stone, a large bird, and an elven woman who's attentions are all drawn to you.
Barbara:
Olivia pauses and thinks for a second before knocking on the wooden crate on the bar.
"Well I've just gotten an order for two of my largest cases of ale. If you could help deliver 'em I'd greatly appreciate it. They're heading for that carnival right outside the city."
Jinn and Fenchurch:
"Thank you Fenny, gods isn't this the cutest little thing." Molly takes the lantern and sets it on the table next to him.
"Well, you see my cards can be read in many different ways. These cards are not usually grouped together as they are, so I felt they have a different meaning. I believe I am going to meet three people today who will embody these cards. I know I've met the first already. So I wonder which one that leaves you. I ask you my dear; are you the Healer or the Avenger? Are you the one being chased or the one that will torn apart?" Mollymauk's red eyes are glazed over as he seems to be looking far off into the distance as he speaks to Jinn. His hand reaches forward and grabs the middle card and he stares at it intensely.
"How curious, how curious indeed." He whispers loud enough that only those next to him can hear.
Wolf Pup shoots him a look like, ‘Why are you asking me!?’ However, he will cough and hold up a hand, “Hello. I am Wolf Pup. This is Perry. It is short for Perrance.” He will sit down.

Perry holds up a finger and opens his mouth about to correct him, but then he thinks better of it. He just moves off to the side and leans against something. Soon a diminutive owl comes down from the sky and lands on Perry's hand. He whistles softly to it while he strokes its feathers. "Ouch!" He steals a glance at the group and gives an innocent smile before continuing his quiet whistles.
In Primordial (Auran): "Where have you been? I hope you have not been causing trouble." Zephyr nips at Perry at this. "Ouch!" This would most likely draw glances from the others. He would give an innocent smile before looking sternly at the night bird. "Do you see what I mean? That is my point exactly." The bird nuzzles him instead. "That is better. Anyway. That half orc is looking for a monster. Maybe he can use my ax? What do you think? She hoots quietly. "That is what I think too. It has to pay. Shrines are not cheap to build." To anyone that understands him, they will hear that Perry speaks Auran very properly, but slowly and with a bad accent. Whether the bird understands Perry or he is just thinking out loud to the bird is unclear. What is clear is that the two share some kind of bond.
Tangle tips her head curiously, then smiles at the introduction. “You may call me Tangle. Is it common for one member of a matched couple to do all the naming? It has now happened twice, once when Boulder introduced himself and his meet, Vipna, and now when you, wolf Pup have introduced yourself and yours, Perrance. It seems curious to me, but we are not so protective of our names as you are. The guardians at the gate did not even name themselves at all. I have had to give them _ph’en aral_, appearance and action names. One is spot face and the other grumpy tired.”
She pauses. “What do you seek, Wolf Pup and Perrance?”

Her eyes flickered as the man known as MollyMauk told her the tale of his hand he dealt.
"As interesting as this story is..."
Her sentence was interrupted as a woman entered she turn to give her a look over.
Seemingly normal so she thought her not a threat. Just loud. And ignored her altogether
"What does it have to do with me?"
She placed her head in her hands resting her elbows on the table,
her hair flicking around like a flame made out of fog and fine white silk.
"If you came for my feelings, I have none on me, left'em in my knapsack."
She then noticed a gnome had been talking to her.
"I'm sorry and you are?"
