While John waits for his companions to decided if they are climbing down or looking for another approach and seeing that Dastrun is intended to be quick about it, John decides to observe the balcony below them with the help of Soolaire and finds out, as he suspected, they are built for small sized creatures, not medium sized specially a Minotaur. (Perception 1d20+5 (with advantage) = 17).
To the group he says: Thank you Soolaire to borrow me your eyes and the blessings of the Father-Dragon, for with your help I am certain of what I suspected, the balconies bellow us are to weak to sustain creatures of our size, specially of Dastrun's size, for long, so we would have to get down using fast-rope Technic and not duel long on the platform. I suggest we go gown one at a time and the first one to be someone that can defend itself without the need to draw weapons, and remember, do not wait long on the platform!
With this new information at hand, John starts trying to figure out how to best determine who would be best to go first and last.
Valen peered over the edge, looking down at the balcony. After gauging his party member's abilities, he decided to head down himself. "Dastrun goes last," he said, before swinging down to the weak platform. He felt the floor wobble beneath him when he landed. Guess I should hurry up. Valen saw what appeared to be a door leading inside the rock face. Trying the handle, he found that it swung open easily. Stepping inside, he found himself in what appeared to be a kitchen. Poking his head outside, he gestured for his companions to follow.
Soolaire focused inward on himself, using a quick breathing technique to cool his body until it was ashen black, without the molten veins and fiery hair. Father-Dragon, now is a time for silence and subtelty, and I must ask that my gifts diminish visibly, that I might save your lost children. He quickly followed suit, mirroring Valen's speed and agility after augmenting his movements with his mind to be both faster and lighter (Light Step talent). Peering around the kitchen he reaches out to Valen telepathically, "A shame we have no intel on this place. We might as well be running around like a nalqul with our heads cut off. Wherever we go, we need to be quick and quiet."
Lowering himself with care to not descend too quickly or too hard on the balcony, when John touches the platform he moves quickly entering what he sees to be a kitchen.
With a low tone of voice John says to his companions that already arrived: When we move, I need to stay in the middle of the party for I need more light then what is available here when combat occurs.
Said that, he moves to leave the path open for the rest of the party to arrive.
Chance watched as John got onto the balcony, and also carefully descended down the rope. "John, I will take the rear position, as I have the Second Sight. Whispered Chance as he steps into the Kobolds kitchen.
Gideon descended down the rope with ease, taking great care not to descend to quickly. At the bottom of the plateform, he quickly moved off to make room for the rest of the party.

There are four doors in the room - the one you've come in through, and three that lead inside.
You have come through the south door, and there are doors at each of the Cardinal directions. One is likely a pantry, and there seems to be noise coming towards the north door.

Valen heard the approaching noise, and quickly shut the door the party entered in from. Rushing to one door, he found himself faced with a variety of meats and other foodstuffs. Turning to his party, he said, "It's not this one," before quickly grabbing a bottle of some sort of alcohol. He sprinted across the room, waving his hand at the door in order to heat it up with Presidigitation as he passed, flung open the fourth door, and beckoned for his companions to follow. Pausing, he glanced at Dastrun, and, with a grin, turned the minotaur's greataxe bright pink. I suppose it'll at least give us a bit of a laugh before we die.
By the Light of the Keeper of Justice! John thought to himself while moving to the door indicated by Valen that should be a way out this room that does not involve killing every moving thing from here to the Villagers and back.
Inside the corridor, after checking if the path was clear he turns to the party and gestures for them "no sound".
Having his massage said, John arranges his crossbow and bolt case for a quick draw and load if need, and he is sure he will need them sooner then he intended.
Soolaire follows quickly in suit as the party rushes through the door. My sunfangs will give off too much light and potentially expose us. May the Father-Dragon guide us through this sun-forsaken environment. May you sharpen our blades and our minds, that those who stand against us may fall quickly and mercilessly. Reaching out with his mind, he connects with Valen. "Valen, you take point through this maze of corridors and doors. I'll fall to the back to cut off any that might see us." Pulling out his longbow, he draws an arrow and knocks it as he slips to the back of the party.
Unsheathing his sword Gideon slightly crouches to make himself a low target. "I will take the rear with Soolaire. We should pick one of the walls and walk next to it so that we are not all out in the open." Thinking once me he adds, "We should also stack ourselves one behind the other with Valen up front, followed by John, Dastrun, myself and Sooliare. So that we are not bumbling around like children at play." With that he focuses on the path ahead merely offering a suggestion to help his comrades.

Chance silently slips in behind John and in front of Dastrun. Keeping alert and ready to react. Whilst wondering what Fate has in store for him and his companions.
Dastrun suddenly stops by the door way, waiting for all of his allies to go through, "Go" he says, "If they come through i can hold the door long enough for one of us to come up with a plan." When all of his allies go through the door, he simply stands and looks at them. "I am truly sorry," he says, "but this is something i must do. I hope you stay safe my alli-no we are more. I wish you safety....my friends" With that, he closes the door, with only himself in the room, and holds the door close, so none of them can come back through. As he does this a single tear slides down his cheek. He asks his ancestors to guide his friends strait and true, under honor, but above the law, and that they complete their goal safely. He then looks at the door the kobold will soon walk through, and wonders how he will explain himself, and find a way to talk with the leader.
By the Light of Lord, I do hope Dastrun knows what he is doing. He might just have given the information that there are intruders in the Kobolds house... to his companions John says: Lets not tarry here, if Dastrun believes he can pull out some strategy or even give us a bit of time, we cannot throw it away in respect of our companion.
To Valen John signals that the party should move and waits it to happen.
Seeing Dastrun jam the door, effectively sealing away his fate, Soolaire can only shake his head. Telepathically, he reaches out to the party. "He always was the emotional one. Stay focused on the task, and the Father-Dragon will light our way to victory. I don't know what Dastrun's plan is, but he's never been predictable in how he'll act next, and our priority is the villager''s safety. If he has a death-wish, then so be it."
Soolaire looks downward with a furrowed brow. Why did he call me his friend?
As the party continues throughout the lair, they pass by many rooms full of sleeping kobolds. About an hour after sundown, about half the kobolds (based on the sound of snoring) begin to rise. The second sun must be rising.
Everyone in the group make a group stealth check.
As soon as Dastrun hears the footsteps of his allies fade away, the door on the north wall opens, and a kobold in a chef's hat as tall as himself and then some walks through. The kobold initially doesn't notice him, but after a few seconds of prepping the pans for cooking, it turns around, looking straight at Dastrun. It initially has a look of fear in its face, but suddenly it starts laughing, falling to the floor, and rolling around with laughter (obviously the hat falls off at this point), as it has just spotted the pink greataxe that Dastrun has on his back. After a solid minute of laughing, several guards come into the room, most armed with bows and arrows that have frogs tied to the end. One, presumably the leader of the squad, speaks.
"Who in the blazes are you? More importantly, why are you here?"

Dastrun gets a hard look in his eyes. He stands up to his full height and rips his shirt off, his bull skull tattoo in full view. He looks at the leader and says, "I am Dastrun Sumarr, last of the Sumarr clan. I have traveled far to do this," He then goes into a full bow, "I am sorry, and i would like to peacefully talk to your leader to explain myself and some misconceptions".
Seeing that there was nothing to be done, GIdeon began walking, in his mind, stealthily. To the groups dismay, Gideon's steps were as noisy as an elephant in the room!

Chance looked at the possibilities for moving stealthily whilst gazing into his holeystone. One likely future he was going to fail, the other he knew he would succeed and he felt that the group would be successful. With determination and his power over Fate (Lucky) he chose the path of silent success.

Dastrun tied his makeshift sled to his back, and descended the rope. He made haste to get off the balcony and into, what was apparently, a kitchen.
