Tarkin is floating in his head. In reality he is spinning in circles staring at the sky with his arms outstretched. "Whoa I am floating. You guys look like blobs." Tarkin spins around slowly as he walks in wide circles. He feels a warm liquid being poured into his mouth but he is so engrossed in the hallucination that it doesn't even register to him. Tarkin stops spinning and starts pointing at random object "Blob. Blob. blob. blob. blob. and you're a blob too" Tarkin announces as he unknowingly points at the kobold.
Suddenly after about 6 minutes Tarkin stops spinning and collapses into a seated position.
"What in the nine hells just happened? Let say we never speak of this ever again." Tarkin sits there for a few minutes collecting himself.

"Well, it was careless of you, but I'm not one to judge anyone harshly. Also, you got the gland almost intact even in the rush of battle, and I have no actual idea as to how you did it, but it's impressive." Umuni takes one last look on Tarkin to ensure that he's well, and then finally makes her way to Thardigord and the Kobold.
[Mattias] You successfully tie off the tube and the gland is no longer leaking, though the blanket is still soaked in some spots. The way it is wrapped in the blanket makes it easy to carry without having to worry too much about coming into contact with the poison.
[Tarkin] As you sit there collecting yourself, you can still feel the numbness in parts of your body; it has the pins and needles feeling, but the antitoxin that Umuni gave you is slowly getting rid of that feeling.
[Umuni] As you walk over to where your other companions are, you see that they are in the middle of talking with this kobold that appears to be in a state of fright.
[Thardigord/Nadarr] As this poor kobold cowers before you he says with the tone of his voice sounding a bit desperate, "Tall ones no eat toad. Small ones eat toad."

Mattias takes the blanket/gland pouch over to the wagon for storage, giving Trigger a pat on his neck with his free hand as he passes.
Looking towards the group, he speaks to the horse in a conversational tone as if he half expects an answer. "Well then, not a completely unsuccessful encounter. Although as a note for myself I'll try not to make a habit of being eaten."
Looking up to the sun in the sky, Mattias tries to gauge the time of day.
“What? Why of course, if you wish to have the toad, you may have it!” Nadarr‘s nose wrinkles slightly. “I don’t think any of us have an interest in eating that. You’re welcome to take it as a meal.”
"Well small kobold, Thardigord did like talking with ye for a short time but we folks need to go back to town. I dun' no how long this poisonous gland would take before it starts rotting."
The dwarf walks towards Theo's horse, inspecting if the gland is secured inside the cart as he prepares their departure back to Risingsun.
"Maybe ye should make us a bone trinket from the toad's bones and hand it to us if we ever meet each other again."

[Mattias] You can tell it is close to mid-afternoon and judging by the amount of time it took you to get out here that it will be well past nightfall if you just traveled straight back to town.
[Thardigord] The kobold just stands there unsure of what to do or say as Thardigord walks towards the horse and wagon. The gland is wrapped up in a blanket but it isn't tied down to anything, so it can freely slide around in the wagon.

“Enjoy your day and your meal, small friend!” Nadarr says before following behind Thardigord. Seeing that the gland isn’t tied down, Nadarr carefully picks up the bundle, moves it to the front of the cart, and pins the cloth there with his extra dagger before sitting back. “All in a good day’s work, gentlemen. Now what say you all to returning victorious heros!”
Since the gland is wrapped in a blanket, Thardigord ties it using his Rope, Hempen (50 feet) and anchors it to the cart to prevent it from falling out as they return back to town.

Walking alongside the cart again, Mattias hands the bolt he recovered from the toad's body to Tarkin, "Thought you might make more use of this than I would," then addressing the group adding, "We won't make town until after nightfall."
"Thanks Mattias. Sorry you got eaten by the toad. Glad to have you back. We'll just tell the others it was an uneventful adventure. No one needs to know about what happened this day. But boy will we have some fun stories to tell at a later date." Tarkin says with a smile.

Anyway, what meant to say was thanks for making sure I didn't wind up as a tasty meal and a letter back to my folks."

They appear to pay the group no mind as they begin carving the toad's flesh into pieces that they can more easily carry.

As the cart is returning to Risingsun, Nadarr pokes his head out. ”Mattias, can you come in here for a second? I just want to check one more time on that wound of yours.” Once Mattias is in the cart, Nadarr attempts to see just how well the wound is looking and, if necessary, will cast his second cure wounds.
Seeing that the wound is apparently festering and in immediate danger of fatal infection, Nadarr begins massaging the area while talking to his friend. Once he is not looking, Nadarr’s hands glow briefly.
"I wouldn't believe it if I haven't seen it with me own eyes, up close and personal."
Thardigord looks closely at Nadarr's glowing hands as he heals Mattias wounds.
"Magic really do exist. From what this dwarf of yers know, anything 'bout magic is prohibited. Must have been a tough life to hide for a long time, me dragornborn comrade."
Hearing Nadarr's call, Mattias trots to the back of the cart and hauls himself up into it.
"I actually feel alright, I mean slightly embarrassed and not likely to want to get that close to a giant mouth again anytime soon. Hey, Thardigord, who were you talking to by that rock before we left?"
As he talks, he gazes back along they road watching the corpse of the toad shrink away into the distance. He can feel Nadaar examine the wounds that have yet to fully close, then feels a warmth and a calm spread through him.
Suddenly snapping back to himself, his head springs round, "Did you say magic?"
“Did someone see magic? I’ve heard it doesn’t actually exist. I certainly wouldn’t know anything about it. Are you sure you didn’t get poison in your eyes? I should take a look just to be sure...” Nadarr quickly stands and kneels down next to the dwarf, making a show of looking for any discoloration or irritation.
OOC Not going to see if Mattias can see through Nadarr's deception.
"Huh? Could have sworn someone said..."
Mattias trails off, absently raises a finger to his ear and rummages. His face contorts, then eases as he finds his quarry. Removing his finger, a long, thick strand of saliva comes with it, and with a quick flick of his wrist, Mattias dumps it unceremoniously onto the ground.
"Guess that explains it, thought I'd got it all. Hope I have now."
