"I haven't heard of any of those... I might have been in a huge travel only once, so I don't really know." Umuni, with her eyebrow raised, shows curiousity about everything Mattias mentioned, if not even confusion as to what it all meant.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“I’m with Umuni on this one. Even when I was with the guard, I never left Risingsun. Never really had the chance to hear about traveling games. However, when we were younger, we always used play some pretty fun tricks.” His voice gets slightly deeper, and a look of concentration takes over his face. “Lady and Gentlemen, step right up, one and all! I, Nadarr Redmark, have come to wow you with incredible feats of wonder!” Fire comes from Nadarr’s mouth in short jets, each taking the shape of a different creature. You see dragons, hydras, dragonborn warriors in armor, and, for the finale, a white hot flame that seems to form Bahamut himself.
Although the figures hold shape for but a second each, they do have a practiced look about them, and are each defined for their brief moments of life. The final burst melds together, and Nadarr bows slightly. “Not bad, but I used to be much better. Anyone else have any traditional weapons against the deadly foe, bordem?”
Talking about travel games and the show Nadarr puts on makes the time it takes to travel back to Risingsun seem to fly by, and before you know it the edge of town comes into view. The idea of reaching town and getting off the road spurs you onward and by noon you reach the doors of the Rough Riders headquarters. There appears to be no one outside of the building at the moment.

Thardigord helps hitch the horse in front of their headquarters after a day's worth of travel. The dwarf fixes his long braided red copper beard around his neck before he saunters to the cart as he begin to carry the covered poison gland towards inside the seemingly abandoned building by gently kicking with his short legs at the doors.
"Good afternoon lads and lasses of this fine establishment. It took a day or two but we managed to bring this poisonous organ as per Theo's request. Ye may inquire more of what happened to the fine lad Matthias while I deliver this to his office. We dun' want the dank smell wafting in the dining area, won't we?"

Nadarr goes with him. “No, my fine dwarf, that would be quite unfortunate. I say, while you deliver that gland, let’s have some refreshments! Reginald! Can we get a round of your strongest?”
Mattias follows the others into the bar, dropping his pack to empty table, "I'll need more than one of Reginald's strongest to tell that tale Thardigord! Besides, it was necessary to inspire Tarkin here to slay the beast."
As you all walk into the headquarters, you see seated at one of the tables Mikira, Yesola, and Belros. They are having a conversation among each other and when you all enter Yesola gives you a wave and says, "Well, I see ya'll came back in one piece; that's a good start. Pull up a chair and ya'll tell us what happened." As she is saying this, there are five mugs floating in the air towards your group, but you don't immediately see or hear Reginald.

Mattias will sit, nodding a greeting to each of the other Rough Riders already there.
"Well, Trigger got us there and back safely. Couldn't of asked for a better guide really."
As he speaks he lifts one of the floating mugs down cans takes a sip, then another, longer and deeper this time before setting it down.
"Apologies, just clearing the dust from my throat. The highlights are Thardigord, here made contact with a group of kobolds out on the road. I decided that the life of a toad dentist wasn't really for me having had first hand experience of the inside of their maw. Tarkin tested the potency of the poison gland. Nadarr showed us one hell of a party trick and Umuni stayed as mysterious as ever."
Mattias takes another sip, obviously enjoying the ale.
"I'll let the others deal with the specifics of their tales, but as for mine, I didn't know toads could jump and was caught unawares. If not for the others, I doubt I would be here to tell the tale... Say, is there anywhere a fella could get himself cleaned up and maybe get word to his folks back in Old Town?"
Nadarr grabs one of the floating mugs and takes a deep drink before sitting down with Mattias and the senior Rough Riders. “Apparently Mattias here makes a tasty snack, from what we figured out. Toad ate him right up! But what’s important isn’t us. Tell us, was there any more playing of games, fair or otherwise, while we were gone?”
Tarkin is sitting in the rear of the room at a table against the wall. He grabs the floating mug and toasts to the recounting of their adventure. "Ah yes the potency is quite well... potent. We had to make sure we had the right creature. I can assure you all that we do." Tarkin says before drowning another mug of ale.

[Thardigord] You make your way to Theo's office and find him inside sitting at his desk with a pair of glasses sitting on the tip of his nose. There is an old battered sheet of parchment in one hand and an open book sitting just off to the side and it appears he is reading between the two of them. Hearing you enter he places the parchment in the book and gently closes it and looks up at you while taking his glasses off and placing them to the side. "Ah, I see that you have returned and successful too, I hope. I take it the others are out in the main room celebrating."
[Rest] Belros nods his head, "That Trigger is a fine horse. He once took on a dragon so we all could escape. Thought he was a goner fer sure, till he showed up in the town we were stay'n at bruised, battered and exhausted. I think gettin' eaten by that toad must 'ave rattled yer noggin a bit, yer probably thinking of Oldrin not Old Town. There is a post office just down the way from here." Yesola stifles a laugh at hearing that Mattias almost got eaten by the toad and calms herself down enough to chime in, "Good that ye bagged the right thing, be terrible to come back with the wrong one. No, no games today. We had some business to deal with. Speaking of, I thought Darmyr would've been back from the mines by now."

"Matthias is busy imbibing himself with alcohol after his recent misencounter with the black river toad. Apparently, those beast jump real high and had a knack for swallowing ye whole after seeing it happen closely."
Thardigord glances around the room as he looks for the chest he thought he saw last time.
"I see yer busy reading some stuff just from looking at yer desk. This dwarf never had the patience to read something like one of those. Do ye have any place I can store this poisonous gland?"

Mattias sits back on his chair, blushing furiously. He takes a long drink from his tankard, and smiles sheepishly. "I just know that I'm grateful for the others, and that next time... Umuni here calls the shots. I'm afraid I might have stepped on her toes."
[Thardigord] You do find the chest sitting in the same spot as it was last time, but it is closed and has a pad lock. Theo chuckles a little, "Yep, there are certainly some creatures out there that will surprise you like that, but it is good to know that you all made it back in one piece. If you're not into reading, then I wouldn't suggest starting your own guild because there is a great deal of reading involved. As for the gland, I placed an opened crate 'round back that you can place it in; need to get it shipped out as soon as possible." Theo then gets up from behind his desk and walks over to the door giving you a smile, "Give me a few minutes and I'll be out there with your party's payment for the job well done."

[Thardigord] Theo gives a shrug and walks back to his desk digging through a few drawers before walking back with a fist size sack and some folded up sheets of parchment, "If you say so, but it could be a few days before I can arrange it to be sent. As long as you and your companions don't mind the smell from it starting to decay and want to carry that blood soaked sack around." He lets the end of the sentence trail off as he walks out of his office.
[Rest] As you all sit around drinking and retelling the story of your adventure, Theo walks out of his office with Thardigord behind him and in his hand tosses up a fist size sack that jingles with the sound of coins. "Congratulations on your successful and somewhat safe mission! Here is your payment of one-hundred gold, as promised." Theo walks over to the table and places the small sack in front of Mattias. Theo then stands next to Nadarr and hands him the folded sheets of parchment, "Someone from the GoR came by and dropped these off for you, said that you might be interested." With that Theo will make his way to sit at the bar and a frosted mug floats his way; which he takes up and holds aloft, "To your future success and health." He states, with the Yesola, Belros, and Mikira responding in unison, "Here, here!"

Mattias stops. His hand slips from its position on the pommel of his rapier.
"That... Well... Ummmm..."
Mattias shrugs, dumbfounded. He applauds.
