Grabbing a couple of pitchers from the table in front of him, Arvel rushes forward and dumps them to douse the flames nearest where Bonnie is fussing over her cat.
Turning to the crowd nearest him, he shouts "C'mon folks. Bucket brigade! Pitchers! Mugs! But NO spirits! Line up and pass them forward! Let's get this blaze under control!"
"Threestrings! You okay back there? Time to help if you can!"
Move from H7 to L5, grabbing pitchers from G6 on the way.
Action: Use an Item - use pitchers to douse flames in L4.
The broom tries to sweep Dekket down the pit, but instead it hits him in the back of his head with the sticky part of it. The pain blocks Dekket's sight for a moment, bluring his vision. He feels his infernal legacy taking over and for a second he feels as if his own skin and blood turn into flames, but in the last second, he controls himself, knowing that such a display could hurt some of the townsfolk around him.
He touches his head and feels his hand warm and wet due to the blood he is losing.
"What the..." he manages to say looking at the animated tool that seems determined to kill him.
"Get off with you!"
He tries to grab it and throw it to the pit.
( Last sentence will be my turn... please tell me what I should roll Attack for grab it? I know this will probably kill Dekket, but it seems more logic that trying to stab a abroom with the rapier... ;) )

(( None of my dice roll? Uh... Well, editing rolled them. ))
Rue, already confused, and unfamiliar with emergency situations in general, is slow to react. Instead, he rapidly but systematically evaluates the situation.
The stage is on fire, likely endangering Threestrings, as well as Bonnie and... a kitten?
Arvel has started a chain to put out the fires.
Rue has a water pitcher at hand, but cannot reach the stage.
Rusty Bighat is hiding on the other side of the stage. Coward.
Magical Brooms are attacking people. Rue finds this strange, as they'd had one at home, and he couldn't recall ever being pummeled by it. (( What's wrong with the brooms? How can they be stopped? Arcana: 10 ))
Rue has prepared a few spells to defend himself, none of which will work on Broomsticks.
Now that brooms are attacking, Rue finds that he is much closer to the looming pit than he'd previously considered.
Several of his former tablemates have rather bravely leapt to save the falling townsfolk, and have been attacked by the brooms in return.
Aerys is hurt, but Rue cannot reach him.
Dekket is hurt; Rue can reach him but would put himself in danger to do so.
Orynn is hurt, and can be reached safely.
The last dangling townsperson is very likely about to fall, but Rue cannot reach her, and would not likely be able to lift her regardless.
Orynn appears sturdier than Dekket.
Rue has never purposefully put himself in physical danger before.
As the others leap into action, Rue is finally propelled to move There aren't many options.
Rue points to Aerys and shouts "Be strong, my friend!"with a flourish in Elvish. (( Bonus Action, Bardic Inspiration - For 10 minutes, you can add a d6 to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome. ))
He crouches and ducks under the next table over (( Move to R11 )), then reaches out a hand to grab Dekket. (( Action, Cast Cure Wounds: Gain 11 Hit Points. ))
Arvel pours water to douse a portion of the fire, and his calls encourage Threestrings and even Rusty Bighat to come out over to the stage to assist. Bonnie, understanding what you have in mind, runs off to some corner tables away from the broom to fetch more water. A part-singed, part-wet tomcat leaps out from where Arvel had dumped water, keeping the Half-Elf between it and the stage. "Go, we have this," the Bard urges the suddenly sober Warlock.
Dekket manages to grab a broom and temporarily immobilize it before hurling it into the center of the Yawning Portal. It drops a few feet, and your eyes widen as you see it make its sweeping motion even faster, and it rises up level with the lip of the pit again.
Taking stock of the situation and seeing their companions in trouble, Rue tosses some words of encouragement at Aerys, who feels his resolve stiffen despite his bruises, and reaches out to Dekket on the follow through of his throw to apply a strong healing touch.
Grady attempts to move to the south end of the tavern, only to find his way blocked by a burly barbarian. "Fine, the hard way it is, then," he sighs to himself. "Catch," he shouts, and shoves a nearby librarian over the edge of the pit, where he dangles. Dwindlejoy nods at his partner and moves to the south. Leilani moves to keep the table between herself and the gaunt man.
Next round. Citizens with a heart symbol have been pulled from the brink and are not in danger of falling. (The librarian at H12 is the one Grady shoved, and he is.) Broom 3 has already taken its turn this round, but used up all its movement to hover and begin moving back towards solid ground. For damage, I am using colored indicators. If you see no indicator, the creature has not taken enough damage to be noticeable; yellow indicates it is appreciably damaged, and red indicates that it is looking very rough, and nearly ready to fall.
Feeling that both the bleeding and the intense head pain cesases and are replaced by a gentle, warm touch Dekket smiles to Rue.
"Thank you.. " it seems that he is going to say something more but then he sees the broom sweeping faster and hovering, trying to reach solid ground again.
" Really?"he says and looks back to Rue like " Are you seeing this?"

Orynn shouts, "Can't anyone dispel this magic of these accursed brooms?!" Following Dekket's lead, Orynn grabs the nearest broom and heaves it at the one floating over the portal.
Grady attempts to move to the south end of the tavern, only to find his way blocked by a burly barbarian...
I just want to point out that Jun is not exactly what most would call "burly". He is strong and tough yes, but he is only about 5'6". He is short and compact.
As this weasel of a man shoves an innocent person into the pit for no other reason than that his path was blocked, Jun reacts on instinct and attempts to give him a taste of his own medicine.
Bonus Action: Rage Movement: Maneuver around Grady just enough that the shove will push him into the well. Action: Shove Attack targeting Grady, Athletics Check: 24 Other: Remaining movement will be to get as close to the innocent librarian as possible, holding out an arm for them to catch.

Cassie remains focused on the active threat of the animated brooms, oblivious to the peril of the bystander next to her in the heat of the moment. She throws more fire at the broom presently hovering over the pit, as it's currently her easiest target.
Action: Cast Fire Bolt Ranged Spell Attack: 23 Damage: 2 Fire
Once that attack is made, she turns to continue moving towards the burning stage and almost bumps right into Grady as he is being shoved by Jun. Her surprise at such aggressive action from her companion is cut short when she finally spots the librarian hanging onto the edge of the pit for dear life. Acknowledging the immediate peril, she bends down to assist him as best she can.
Pretty sure it's an action for an Athletics check to pull him up, so Cassie can't do that, but I figure she can at least be right there to help him pull himself out, or maybe get a reaction to try and grab him if he falls.

Orynn attempts to replicate Dekket's success in tossing a broom, but the broom next to him is not so easily swept up, and dodges to the side.
Broom opposed check: 5
Aerys charges in between a broom and a recently rescued civilian, and deals a devastating blow to the cleaning instrument. It splinters and falls still.
The first blow was enough to destroy it, which means you bonus action attack did not happen. Keep it, and your bardic inspiration. If you have something else you would like to apply as a bonus action, please indicate it.
Grady, too distracted by the distraction he himself was attempting to cause, does not notice the human in front of him shift around to his side in time to resist the barbarian's strong push, and he finds himself dangling from the lip right next to the librarian.
First, let me say that was a wonderful use of barbarian rage advantage there (20/1), but Grady does get an opposed check: 15.
Noting that distraction, Cassie fires a parting bolt at the hovering broom, lightly damaging it, before taking off towards the endangered librarian.
The broom in the corner finally sweeps into action, flying right over the flames Arvel, Threestrings, and Rusty are battling to brush once each at the Warlock 17 Damage: 6 and the Bard 10 Damage 5

Seeing that the only way to stop the things for tossing people is destroing them, Dekket draws his rapier and tris to slice the broom next to him in half.
"Go help the tea drinker!" he says to the others.
Attack: 5 Damage: 4
Edit: First attack and a natural1. Typical.
Dekket sees the woman in the purple dress still near the edge of the pit.
"Come here dear " he says grabbing her from the waist and moving away from the pit " I can show you more tempting ways to fall.. " he says to the woman with a smile and a wink.
The hummingbird shifts its flight path away from Leilani and over to Grady, flitting about in his face to keep him distracted from further harming the librarian.
