Rue neatly dodges away from the broom's sweep, helped by the table he's crouched beneath.
He's been focused on his side of the room, but a shout from the other side has him turning his head. He sees... Someone throw someone into the pit, then being pushed into the pit by Jun, then a hummingbird...? And flames still coming from Cassandra.
Rue decides to concentrate on what's nearby, reaches out a hand for Orynn this time, and whispers his spell.
The broom knocks aside both townsfolk, but, having been pulled back from the precipice, they fall only to the floor, unconscious but alive.
The flames obscure Arvel's aim just enough that the beams of Eldritch energy sputter past the broom on stage, while Bonnie rushes over to help the group attend to the fire.
Rue manages to pour more curative energy into a friend.
On the other side of the Portal, Grady attempts to climb out of the bit, but the harassment of a hummingbird prevents him from getting solid purchase to clamber all the way to safety. He does manage to pull himself up out of the pit, but not take the action that is so clearly burning in his eyes right now. Dwindlejoy casts a glance at his partner, then move towards Leilani; as she moves to keep the table between them, he leaps up on top.
"Mister Bighat...this is coming out of your fee," shouts Durnan over the commotion.
Next round -- this time with Jun and Grady in proper places
With hostile intent evident in Grady's eyes, and the innocent librarian still in danger, Jun commits full force to ending the threat Grady represents. In one fluid motion, Jun draws his katana and simultaneously slashes at Grady's abdomen.
Action: Attack: 22Damage:10
OOC: I doubt 10 damage will be enough to bring Grady down, but on the off chance that it is, Jun would use his full movement toward DJ.
Playing in: Shepherds of Truth - Thomas Roth, Shepherd of Mystra Aerovail, Cities in the Sky - Aidan Burke, Smuggler The Missing Schema - Trigger, Morgrave Trap-Breaker Echoes of the Past - Einar Barruk, Fight Club Brawler Once in Waterdeep - Nagao Jun, Windwise Wanderer
Orynn throws his hands over his head as the broom attacks him from behind. The pummeling knocks the wind out of him and he feels like his knees might buckle, but the comforting hand that is laid upon his calf fills him with warmth, and he breathes in a steadying breath. He smiles down at the table under which Rue is hiding and says, "Many thanks." He then hears Leilani cry out. Looking at her, but not wanting to move away from the poor woman who has just collapsed beside him, Orynn swiftly draws his longbow and fires an arrow at Dwindlejoy.

Cassandra attempts to help the librarian to climb out of the pit (if necessary, Athletics: 16) before standing back up to refocus on the brooms again, though the fact that Jun is attacking a man near her does definitely catch her attention.
"Jun, what are ye' doin?"
Action: Assist the librarian out of the pit.
Movement: None, until she knows what is going on with Jun.

Jun cuts Grady deeply, but to the brawny man's surprise, the shorter thug merely smiles and says "this is just business -- are you sure you want to play?" Grady swings at him twice with his blackjack 8 damage: 3,14 damage: 6 and then moves around the table. Orynn answers that question, deciding he would like to play as well, and a well-placed shaft sprouts out of Dwindlejoy's side on top of the table. Cassie chooses to help the distressed librarian, pulling him out of danger easily.
On the other side of the Pit, Aerys leaves the shattered remains of one broom and charges the next, but his swings fail to strike this second broom. Back at the stage, the broom takes a swing at both Bonnie 15 Damage: 4 and Threestrings: 18 Damage: 7.
"This night is getting weird by the moment" says Dekket to the woman he just saved from the pit seeing at the other side of the pit the fight between them. "Please" he says to the woman " be safe down that table will you dear? Not that I don't love to have you in my arms but I would hate that you end down there... now if you'll excuse me..."
He then draws his sword and tries to cut down the broom they have near them.
( If you will use the previous roll of the other post as his attack for this one... in case you want me to reroll it... Attack: 21 Damage: 3 )
Updated after some off-thread conversation with Jun, who likely took a little damage now. Map is slightly different, with Jun in the same spot. He may also take his own opportunity attack as Grady is still going to be moving away.

Jun swings at Grady's departing form, only to strike air.
Dekket lightly damages the broom harrying all of them. It responds by sweeping against Dekket 21 damage 4 and Rue 14 damage 4
The broom hovering in the pit manages to get back to the side, and to your surprise relatively gently starts pushing aside the two townsfolk unconscious near the edge of the pit.

After healing Orynn, Rue feels he's done about all he can do here. But the blasted broom was still attacking them! Rue weathers the sweeping blow with surprisingly fortified ease, but he's very, very tired of this.
Out of desperation, he pulls the dagger hidden on his belt and speaks a string of lyrical, encouraging words to Dekket... in Elvish, but the flourish is still there.
Bonus Action; Bardic Inspiration: For 10 minutes, you can add a d6 to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome.
Then, studying the sweeping broom, Rue takes aim and strikes with his small blade.
While deparately offering confidence to a companion, Rue perhaps discovers some self-confidence as well as the dagger bites surprisingly deep into the broom. Had it legs, it would be on its last ones.
Grady and Dwindlejoy have prematurely moved in response to the attack of opportunity retcon above; I will resolve the held action after Arvel has gone.
Arvel's bolt strikes the broom, which takes it without complaint, as brooms are wont to do. However, brooms are also wont to take damage when hovering over burning stage, and the broom takes more than you would expect. Threestrings, Bighat, and a performer are working on the fire.
From his higher position on the table, Dwindlejoy attempts to wrestle something from Leilani, but the bird harassing his movements prevent him from getting solid purchase, though he grabs enough of a sleeve that Leilani cannot retreat.
